Prayer for Financial Miracle – Breakthrough Blessings – A Miracle Prayer – Powerful Words to Pray

A Miracle Prayer - Powerful Words to Pray - Financial Miracle Prayer - Blessing and Breakthrough

Many things can happen to us in life that can lead to financial difficulty – such as the loss of a job, a business getting into unexpected difficulty, or even having a baby. Here are three prayers you can pray to ask God for help with the restoration of your financial affairs. Also further down on this page are quotes from the bible which remind us that God provides for all our needs as we trust in Him, and the famous prayer of Jabez, who approached God with great boldness, and saw a remarkable answer to his prayer.

Prayer for financial miracle

O Lord,

You placed the stars in the sky.
You created a myriad of beautiful life.
You gave us our breathe and water to drink.
You are a living Lord.
You are my Saviour, in whom I trust.
Please rescue me from this financial crisis,
Come redeem this situation.
I ask for your almighty hand to come and cover me.
Give me wisdom and strength to stand strong through this storm.
I ask for a miracle by your redeeming love.
Please restore me, lead me to a safe place, a secure place,
A place of financial balance.

In you I trust.

Amen.

Financial blessing prayer

Dear God,

Bless the work of our hands, the work of our minds and the work of our hearts.
May each day be an offering of worship to you.
May your goodness flow through our every deed.
And may you keep us, shelter us, protect us and feed us.
That we may be blessed with the finances we need,
And have the love and grace to give generously to all that are in need.

Amen.

Prayer for favor

(a prayer for God’s blessing on an event or situation)
Father,

Please cover this situation with your loving hand.
Bring your peace, healing and hope.
Hold us close and keep our hearts and minds safe.
We ask that the power of your truth would turn things around and bring your light and love.
We choose to rest in your Almighty hand, knowing that you are our fortress in times of struggle.
Thank you that you will protect us from all harm.

Amen.

Prayer for financial release

(a prayer for release from debt)

Heavenly Father,

I know that heaven is the treasure, that if I were to count the blessings of love, family and friendship I am rich beyond telling.
And yet, I confess I feel poor, that this financial debt weighs on my heart, fills my mind and grieves my soul.
O God, I can not see a way free, and despite all my hard work and efforts I still live under this debt.
Please, come and renew my mind, set it free as I leave this burden at the foot of the cross.
Help me to understand your heart for me, to breathe, live and love in your freedom. Lord, I put my trust in you, and ask for a miracle, for finances that free me from these chains.

Please hold my family and me.
Keep us all safe until that time when we are truly free.

Amen.

TOP Prayer for Financial Help From God – Prayer for Financial Blessing – Blessing of Abraham

Strong PRAYER IN FINANCIAL CRISIS - Miracle Financial Breakthrough - Prayer for Financial Blessing and Favor

We’ve all been there. The moment where you cross your fingers and pray that the bills won’t bounce. Perhaps you’ve been faced with unemployment and you have no earthly idea how you’ll be able to make next month’s rent payment. Or maybe you’re working two jobs and still can’t seem to get ahead. Financial issues can be extremely stressful and effect so many different aspects of life – both physically and emotionally.

In order to gain better control over your finances, it may be wise to consult a financial advisor who has a better idea of how to manage funds and what type of options are accessible for your specific situation. While you may believe that you have it under control and perceive no other workable solutions, getting a second opinion on your financial situation can prove to make an extreme difference. Along with professional help, it’s important to maintain your sanity with spiritual assistance. You’ll discover a financial expert’s assistance coupled with prayer will provide you with the hope and motivation you will need to overcome just about anything.

The Bible provides Christians with a number of scriptures focused on money, finances and giving. Philippians 4:19 is one of my go-to scriptures to reference when I’m facing financial issues. The verse says, “And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.” It’s important, despite the frustrations tough finances brings forth, to know that the Lord is always by your side. He will never give you more than you can manage and will provide the necessities to live a prosperous life. First, place your faith in the Lord and he’ll do the rest.

“Dear Lord, help me to leave my financial worries in Your Hands. Guide me to peace so that I can hear your wisdom. Keep me mindful of my blessings no matter how much or little I may have. Grant me the patience and tolerance necessary to calm my spirit knowing that you have everything under control. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Patience is a virtue that is required within so many elements of life – finances being one of those main elements. From time-to-time God’s children become so bogged down with the endless list of demands our life brings forward. The Lord understands your frustrations and sees firsthand how much work you’re putting in each day. Chin up friend – ask the Lord to grant you the necessary patience to get through this difficult financial period. While it may seem overwhelming, while you’re in the moment, remember that the Lord will always provide you with the resources you’ll need.

“O Lord, You placed the stars in the sky. You created a myriad of beautiful life. You gave us our breathe and water to drink.

You are a living Lord. You are my Savior, in whom I trust. Please rescue me from this financial crisis, Come redeem this situation. I ask for your almighty hand to come and cover me.

Give me wisdom and strength to stand strong through this storm. I ask for a miracle by your redeeming love. Please restore me, lead me to a safe place, a secure place, a place of financial balance. In you I trust. Amen.”

Jesus Christ, who is your Lord and Savior, understands better than anyone the spontaneity in life – and moreover, how those unexpected times can bring on financial burdens. If you’re going through a difficult time, ask the Lord for a miracle through prayer. A prayer for financial help from God can be a definite game changer and provide you with the resources that you need to get out of the hole. The world is filled with an insurmountable amount of solutions; however, identifying those answers can prove to be very challenging. Through prayer, ask the Lord to give you guidance coupled with the patience you’ll need to discover the financial solution you desperately need. In many cases, you’ll discover a solution that is seemingly been in front of you the entire time. In addition, this difficult financial time could also lead you to wisdom that you would have ordinarily been blind to.

Lastly, one of the strongest messages spiritual messages comes from Matthew.

These words redefine the true meaning behind necessity and desire. Often times, we as human beings, become obsessed with the materialistic aspects of things. Sometimes objects appear to be a necessity however, in fact, these items are not a vital aspect of survival.

“Our Lord challenged us in the Gospels not to worry about what we need in terms of the necessities of life such as food and clothing, but rather to “seek first the kingdom of God….and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matthew 6:33). He also advised us to not to worry about tomorrow, as it would take care of itself (Matthew 6:34).”

Matthew 6:33-34 are lines to memorize and revisit when you decide it’s necessary to request a prayer for financial help from God. Our Lord came face to face with so many challenges during his life – and at times he wasn’t presented with the most appealable odds. Yet, the Lord made his resources work and did his best to make sure those around him also had a livable quality of life. Before you say a prayer for financial help, reevaluate your situation and ask yourself some very important questions. Can you wake up tomorrow and survive without the money you are asking for? Will you go hungry if you do not have the financial help you’re praying to the Lord for? Will your family be in a state of destitution without these funds? If your answer is no, then you’ll discover that life is not that bad off as is. Answering these definitive questions will help to paint the reality that may be skewed in your mind. However, if your answers to those questions are yes then find comfort in knowing that the Lord will provide and hear your prayers. Always remember that your God will always be by your side.

7 Keys To Praying In A Financial Miracle – Prayer for Financial Breakthrough and Blessing

7 Keys To Praying In A Financial Miracle

7 Keys To Praying In A Financial Miracle

Written by Harold Herring. .

Need a financial miracle?  The wrong place to look for answers and direction is Google Search.

I did a search on “how to pray for financial miracles.”

The first reference was an ad offering me a miracle prayer cloth.

I believe in prayer cloths. . .I have given them away in times past and may even do so again because Paul gave them away in the book of Acts when the anointing was strong.  However, I don’t think a prayer cloth is the first key to your miracle.

The second reference began by saying:

“Dear Lord, we pray for a favor that financial miracles may come our way the soonest. We don’t ask for more than what we need Lord.

We just need the right amount we need to clear all our debts as well as my husband’s. Nothing more than that Lord.”

Ok, I’m good with the prayer cloth. . .but let me tell you I’m going to ask for more than what I need. . .because there’s a world that needs my help as well.  It’s not just about me and mine.

Anyone who would limit or restrict God’s blessing flow needs a check-up from the neck-up. . .and a better understanding of the Word.

Let’s establish some basic facts.

First, our God is a God of miracles.

Second, make sure the windows of heaven are open over your life.

Third, He hears and answers your prayers because He promised He would.

Fourth, His best is not about us living from miracle to miracle.

Fifth, if you doubt your miracle manifestation . . .you will do without it.

Sixth, make it a part of your daily confession.

Seventh, stop doing stupid things financially and begin using His wisdom.

I could very easily teach those seven points. . .they’re all good. . .but they’re not the ones God gave me when I started this writing today.

1.         Repent Of All Unrighteousness and Foolishness.

1 John 1:9 in the Amplified Bible says:

“If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just (true to His own nature and promises) and will forgive our sins [dismiss our lawlessness] and [continuously] cleanse us from all unrighteousness [everything not in conformity to His will in purpose, thought, and action].”

I rejoice that He will “cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

Now that’s something so profound that we should shout enough to get up and run around the room.  Freedom from sin’s hold is huge.

To be unrighteous. . .we have first been righteous.  If we were still sinners, then we would not have been righteous.  So at some point it means we were born again.

Sadly, there are too many folks who’ve attended church, sang songs of praise and love the Lord only to backslide.   Generally, people who backslide are not disappointed with God but with themselves or another “saint” in the church.  Unfortunately, sometimes it’s the pastor who has fallen into sin.

People tend to look toward and often idolize the messenger instead of the One in the message.  But alas, this line of thinking should be in a teaching of its own.

It’s interesting that the verse equates unrighteousness with “everything not in conformity to His will in purpose, thought and action.”

So putting it that way, we could say . . . if we are not conforming to the purpose, thought-process and actions of the Lord and His Word, then we’re guilty of unrighteousness.  Are we teachable? Do we daily desire to do what He wants instead of what we want?

What is God purpose for your life?

If you’re not dreaming it. . .living it. . .manifesting it. . .then are you guilty of unrighteousness?  That’s an interesting thought, isn’t it?

Have you sought His presence to determine His plans for you?

Exodus 9:16 in the Amplified Bible says:

“But for this very purpose have I let you live, that I might show you My power, and that My name may be declared throughout all the earth.”

One more scripture. . .Romans 9:17 says:

“For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.”

Repenting of unrighteousness is more than confessing the obvious sins. . .it’s not flowing in His purpose for our lives. . .not thinking as He would have us think. . .and not doing what He would have us do.  When He shows us something we need to change, are we willing to change it to please Him?

Our righteousness. . .brings glory and honor to Him.

Bottom line. . .if you’re praying for a financial miracle. . .repent of everything that you know holds you back.

2.         Recognize and Praise Him As A Miracle Working God.

If you need a financial miracle. . .you should be praising God for what He’s already done in your life.

Sadly, when under economic attack. . .many believers shift into panic instead of praise mode.  Feeling desperate . . .depressed and helpless.

If you’ve felt that way, Psalm 34:2 offers some great advice for you:

“. . .let all who are helpless take heart.”

To be helpless is to be without help.  If you feel helpless. . .that’s the perfect time to begin rejoicing and praising God for His faithful promises..

How do you take heart in the middle of a storm. . .by praising Him in all things.

The Message Bible translation of Psalm 34:2 says:

“I live and breathe God; if things aren’t going well, hear this and be happy.”

In the midst of your financial storm. . .don’t feel helpless. . .be happy as you Praise Him.

Psalm 34:3 says:

“O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.”

No matter what. . .He is so worthy of all our praise. . .that phrase is so much more than song lyrics . . .it should be our lifestyle.

Actually, Psalm 34 is full of encouraging scriptures to praise God for and claim in the midst of any battle:

4 I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

5 They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.

6 This poor man cried, and the Lordheard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

7 The angel of the Lordencampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

15 The eyes of the Lordare upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.

17 The righteous cry, and the Lordheareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lorddelivereth him out of them all.

22 The Lordredeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.

Psalm 35:28 in the Amplified Bible offers some pretty good advice:

“And my tongue shall talk of Your righteousness, rightness, and justice, and of [my reasons for] Your praise all the day long.”

Without question, if you want to feel the presence of the Lord fast, then start praising Him.  There is a lot to praise Him for.

Praising Him for what you’ve got. . .regardless of how meager it may seem. . .and what He’s going to do. . .is a giant step towards your financial miracle.

3.         You Gotta Know He Doesn’t Play Favorites—You are a favorite.

God has given me a new look at a well-known and often quoted scripture.

Acts 10:34 says:

“Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons.”

The New International Version says:

“Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism.”

I have read Acts 10:34 in thirteen different translations and I have not seen any sort of asterisk or footnote indicating that this scripture doesn’t apply to everybody on planet earth.

Having said all that. . .let me give you a different perspective.

Acts 10:34 in the Message Bible says:

“Peter fairly exploded with his good news: “It’s God’s own truth, nothing could be plainer: God plays no favorites! It makes no difference who you are or where you’re from—if you want God and are ready to do as he says, the door is open.”

God plays no favorites. . .that is absolute. . .but you can determine whether or not He does for you.  Let’s examine this verse a little closer.

“. . .God plays no favorites! It makes no difference who you are or where you’re from. . .”

This phrase confirms the fact that God doesn’t play favorites and is not a respecter of persons.   However, let’s look at the remainder of the verse.

“. . .if you want God and are ready to do as he says, the door is open.”

If you want God. . .in other words, if you ask. . .if you seek. . .if you knock. . .if you obey . . . you will find He is no respecter of persons.

Let’s say it another way. . .God respects and honors those whose hearts are open to obey His word.  I didn’t say ‘be perfect for Him.’  I said if we even desire to obey Him.

Think about it.

4.         Ask With Specificity

Let me ask you several questions.

Do you want a raise?  How much?  When do you want the raise to become effective?

When do you plan to pay off your first debt?  How will you do it?  What’s your plan?  When and how will you pay off your second debt?

How much weight do you want to release?  I don’t like the phrase “lose weight” because when you lose something …your natural reaction is to find it.  When will you start exercising?  What days of the week?  What exercises?  How long will your exercise program last each day?

Our God is a God of specificity which is why you must be specific in your miracle prayer request.

If you don’t have specific goals you are just ‘wishing and a hoping.’  Specificity greatly increases the likelihood of greater results.

God didn’t just tell Noah to go out and build a boat . . .He was specific.

Genesis 6:14-16 in the New King James Version says:

“Make yourself an ark of gopherwood; make rooms in the ark, and cover it inside and outside with pitch.

15 And this is how you shall make it: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, its width fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits.

16 You shall make a window for the ark, and you shall finish it to a cubit from above; and set the door of the ark in its side. You shall make it with lower, second, and third decks.”

God didn’t just tell Moses He was going to feed the children of Israel. . .He was specific.

Exodus 16:8 in the New Living Translation says:

“Then Moses added, “The Lord will give you meat to eat in the evening and bread to satisfy you in the morning, for he has heard all your complaints against him. What have we done? Yes, your complaints are against the Lord, not against us.”

Exodus 16:16 in the New Living Translation says:

“These are the Lord’s instructions: Each household should gather as much as it needs. Pick up two quarts for each person in your tent.”

I could give you numerous other scriptures about God’s desire for specificity in what we desire in our future and yes, even in our miracle.

Habakkuk 2:2 says:

“And the Lord… said, Write the vision, and make it plain… that he may run that readeth it.  For the vision . . . shall speak …it will surely come, it will not tarry.”

The Contemporary English Version of Habakkuk 2:2 says:

“Then the LORD told me:  ‘I will give you my message in the form of a vision.  Write it clearly enough to be read at a glance.’”

Here’s just one more . . . from the New Testament just to show you that God hasn’t changed His mind on how we approach Him.  Philippians 3:6 in the Amplified Version of the Bible says:

“Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God.”

Be specific.

5.         Seek Inside Information From A Source That’s Always Right

There is a phrase that I want you to repeat over and over again.

Say out loud.

“God is my closest advisor, friend and miracle provider.  He always leads me in the way that I should go.  He always gives me the best advice.  He’s never wrong.  He’s always right on time with what I need.”

James 4:2 in the New Living Translation says:

“Yet you don’t have what you want because you don’t ask God for it.”

God is offering you inside information about your future.

The enemy of your soul. . .the nemesis of your success. . .the would-be destroyer of your destiny can try to keep you from getting the inside information that you need to make the right decisions.   But the answers are right there and available to you if you choose to read them and put them to work in your life.

James 1:5 in the New Living Translation says:

“If you don’t know what you’re doing, pray to the Father. He loves to help. You’ll get his help and won’t be condescended to when you ask for it.”

There is something quite comforting in knowing you have immediate and unlimited access to inside information on miracle manifestation and every other aspect of your life.

Plus the fact that God’s information is always right. . .and right on time.

Psalm 119:137-138 in the ERV (Easy to Read Version) says:

“Lord, you do what is right,  and your decisions are fair.  The rules you have given us are right.  We can trust them completely.”

God gives you inside information and . . .you can trust it completely.

6.         Identify, Knock Out and Remove All Obstacles, Hindrances, Roadblocks and Doubt.

What’s the main thing that’s keeping you from miracle manifestation?

The words:  obstacles, hindrances and roadblocks are not in the King James Version of the Bible.  But they are stumbling blocks to your miracle manifestation.

Obstacles. . .are things that block or hinder progress. . . they are things you have to overcome.

Booker T. Washington said:

“Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome.”

When it comes to overcoming obstacles remember the words Henry Ford once said:

“Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goal.”

Hindrances. . .are things or perhaps people who are hindering you from doing what you know to do because you’ve take your eyes off your Source and them on people or circumstances.

Harriet Beecher Stowe, the author of Uncle Tom’s Cabin said:

“The real democratic American idea is, not that every man shall be on a level with every other man, but that every man shall have liberty to be what God made him, without hindrance.”

A roadblock. . .is an obstruction designed to send people through unknown territory and delay their progress.

Michael Jordan, the greatest basketball player to every draw a breath in my opinion, said;

“If you’re trying to achieve, there will be roadblocks. I’ve had them; everybody has had them. But obstacles don’t have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don’t turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.”

Doubt. . .will make you question. . .what it is you really believe.

If you make an honest assessment of where you are in every area of your life. . .you would no doubt be able to identify what it is that’s holding you back.

The best way to overcome obstacles, hindrances and roadblocks is a direct frontal assault.

Here’s where your inside information is also of enormous benefit.

Proverbs 3:26 in the Amplified Bible says:

“For the Lord shall be your confidence, firm and strong, and shall keep your foot from being caught [in a trap or some hidden danger].”

7.         Give God Your Seed with Expectation

Genesis 8:22 says:

“While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.”

There is seedtime and harvest. . .sowing and reaping. . .as long as the earth remains.

If you don’t sow with an expectation of a harvest. . .you’re wasting your time.

Too many timesI’ve heard people say, “Well, I tried tithing and it didn’t work for me.  I gave offerings but nothing happened.  I never received a harvest.  This giving stuff just doesn’t work for me.”

When people make statements about how they tried tithing and it didn’t work for them;  the truth is that God was trying them to see if they would become faithful stewards or if they’d quit.

God never gave up on them; they just gave up on Him.  A person’s expectations must be rooted in the Word of God . . .not in circumstances around them.

Galatians 6:7 in the Amplified Bible says:

“Do not be deceived and deluded and misled; God will not allow Himself to be sneered at (scorned, disdained, or mocked by mere pretensions or professions, or by His precepts being set aside.) [He inevitably deludes himself who attempts to delude God.] For whatever a man sows, that and that only is what he will reap.”

There is confidence in knowing that whatever you sow. . .you will reap.

If you don’t send a ship out … you can’t expect one to come back.

If you leave your seed in the barn … it will never produce a crop in the field.

But don’t just send or plant… and forget it … be looking for the harvest.

Expectation brings manifestation and His rewards.

Proverbs 24:14 in the Amplified Bible says:

“So shall you know skillful and godly Wisdom to be thus to your life; if you find it, then shall there be a future and a reward, and your hope and expectation shall not be cut off.”

A final thought. . .we know when we pray. . .He not only listens. . .He answers our prayers.  When we know we are lined up with the Word. . .we have every scriptural right to expect miracle manifestation in our lives.

Therefore, we must stand strong and expectant and not give in until we see the harvest.

Bible declares you are saved. This is a confirmation from the written word. If you start to speak in tongues. Be sure you have been baptised with the Holy Ghost. If there are no tongues. Bible declares still that you are saved and born again. They come later for confirmation of Baptism.

Personal Prayer of Salvation

Almighty God,I come before You in the name of Jesus Christ.

Jesus I believe You are the Son of God and the only way to God. That You died on the Cross for my Sins and rose again from the dead. I confess that my life has been sinful separated from You ( Rom 3:23 ). Forgive my sins. Jesus I believe You shed Your precious Blood on the Cross for my justification. I thank You for Loving me.

Jesus I turn to You. Heal my body and soul. Heal my body, …heal my life. Come into my heart. Fill my soul. Change me. Mold me. Use me. Heal me. Deliver me. Transform my life and never let me be the same again. Cleanse me with your Holy blood and make me Whole.

Jesus – in You I have the Eternal life. And this is Eternal Life, that I may know You, the only True God and Jesus Christ whom You have sent ( John 17:1-5 ). Let me know You deeply through Holy Spirit Father. Reveal Your Will to me according to my calling.

Heavenly Father fill me with the Holy Spirit and Baptize me with the Holy Ghost and Fire. That I may have part of the First Resurrection ( Rev 20:5-6). I receive Your Spirit and the Spiritual Gifts as Holy Spirit gives me according to His Will. I desire for Spiritual Gifts.

Jesus. Give me a new mind and new heart and a new spirit. Transform my life as I surrender to Your Divine Calling. I surrender to Your will. I surrender to receive the Power!

Jesus is Alive and hears my prayer right now!

I give myself fully to You Jesus. I give myself fully to You Holy Spirit.
I receive Your Power!
I receive Your Anointing!
I receive the Anointing of the Holy Ghost right now!

The presence of God is over my life!

And now I proclaim : “God Almighty is my Father. Jesus Christ is my Saviour. Holy Spirit is my Comforter ( John 16:7-15 ). I am Born Again of the water and of the Spirit ( John 3:5-6 ). I have inherited an Eternal Life. I am now part of the Body of Christ ( Rom 12:5 ).”

In Jesus Mighty and Holy name and in the Blood of Everlasting Covenant (Hebrews 13:20-21),

I Pray and give You the Glory,
Amen

Put your hand on your heart and start to speak and utter, if the tongues of the Holy Spirit come…Be sure of your Baptism with the Holy Ghost! There can be in the beginning only few words. 5 Powerful Spiritual Warfare Prayers to Start Your Day – Declaration of Victory of GOD JESUS CHRIST

5 Powerful Spiritual Warfare Prayers to Start Your Day

5 Powerful Spiritual Warfare Prayers to Start Your Day

– Declaration of Victory of GOD JESUS CHRIST

Intro: Heading off into our day with prayer

It happens to all of us. We are in a hurry, or distracted, running late and we forget to start off our day with prayer. Heading off into our day without a solid foundation of prayer is like skipping breakfast.

Soon, we are feeling weak and confused. It becomes difficult to cope with the spiritual trials of our day.

We make mistakes, get angry, and say things we wish we hadn’t. We offend our Lord by sinning.

Spiritual warfare prayers  help strengthen us for whatever we will face in the day to come. They are like putting on armor to keep us strong and safe. Warfare prayers are preemptive strikes against the enemy of our souls.

By praying these spiritual warfare prayers before you start your day, you will prepare yourself for any difficulties or trials that will come and you will be spiritually strong and able to resist temptation and remain at peace. Start your day breaking barriers to your financial breakthrough and blessings.

You will be armored against the darts and barbs of the enemy and will be able to stand on the word and not fall. Prayer is powerful and effective. The Bible says, “The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much” (James 5:16).

These prayers will put you in the right frame of mind and prepare you for your day. Choose one and pray it in the morning before you even get out of bed, or as you enjoy your breakfast and you’ll be prepared for whatever comes your way.

A Prayer of Protection and Covering

Lord, as I begin my day, I pray that You would fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Cover me with your protecting wings and keep me safe from harm and spiritual attacks.

Help me to speak only the words you would have me speak, do only the things you would have me do, and think only the thoughts you would have me think that I may please you.

Help me to be a reflection of you so others will seek you as well. In Jesus name, Amen!

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.

Isaiah 54:17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,” says the Lord.

A Prayer for Putting on Spiritual Armor

Father God, I ask you to help me put on the spiritual armor that will protect me from harm and help me stand before the enemy. Help me to tie the belt of truth around my waist, and protect my heart with the breastplate of righteousness.

Ephesians 6:11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.

A Prayer of Gratitude to Bring Joy

Thank you, Lord, for another day. Help me to have a spirit of gratitude for all that you do for me. Thank you for health, a home, food on my table and friends and family. Thank you for salvation, for freedom from sin.

I give you thanks and praise for sending your son to die on the cross so I could live in you and have eternal life. The joy of the Lord is my strength; help me to walk in that strength.

Help me to share the joy of the Lord with others around me so they will draw near to you. Amen!

A Prayer of Spiritual Identity

Thank you, Jesus, for dying for me. As a blood-bought child of God, I am a co-heir with Christ. My Father is the King and I am an adopted son/daughter of God.

Philippians 1:6  Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

As a child of God, I am strong, holy and redeemed. The enemy no longer has any rights to me, he cannot touch me.

The blood of Jesus has cleansed me from all my sin, and I am no longer living under condemnation.

Thank you for my identity in Christ, I am a sinner saved by grace.

A Prayer for the Blessings of the Lord

Lord help me to obey your will and listen to your voice so that I can live in your blessing, for your word says that you will bless those who are obedient and listen to you.

Give me an obedient heart so that you may bless me wherever I go. As I obey you, bless my children, my home, my food and my finances.

Bless all that I put my hand to and bless the very land on which I walk. May all the peoples of the world learn that you bless those who seek you. Help me to be a blessing to everyone around me. In Jesus name I pray, Amen!

Proverbs 10:22 The blessing of the LORD makes a person rich, and he adds no sorrow with it.

Philippians 4:19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

Colossians 3:17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Conclusion: Starting Your Day Right with Prayer.

None of these prayers takes very long to pray, and they will help you start your day off right. By spending just a few minutes you will set a positive tone to your day and help yourself grow spiritually.

You will have the protection, strength and peace to face whatever the day will bring your way. You will shine spiritually and others will be drawn to the light of God in you.

The Lord wants to protect you and bless you, he loves you and thinks of you constantly and wants to give you peace and hope for the future, and by praying in this way you will give Him permission.

Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

May God bless you as you declare His goodness in the morning.

Prayer: Program your mind for Victory…not Defeat!

You oh Lord JESUS, are exalted high above the earth! I lift Your name on high, for You are awesome. I stand in complete submission to Your Will. Heavenly Father, my hope, joy, strength and confidence comes from You.

So today I thank You for the price Jesus paid for me. I know that my victory depends on knowing that, yet at times, I am unable to program my mind for victory.

3 John 1:2 – Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers.

John 10:10 – The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.

Feeling Defeated

Occasionally, I feel so burdened by what life throws at me. Holy Spirit, when I feel defeated, and when the reality of my earthly walk becomes difficult, I pray for guidance as I program my mind for victory, not defeat.

Lord, help me when I falter, to believe that I walk in faith and in complete obedience to You. Lord, I want to always remember that when I read and meditate on Your Word, it is absorbed into my heart. I will believe in all that You have predestined for me.

And now I stand on the promises You have declared, graciously receiving them and speaking them into my life. I pray that the Holy Spirit will restore and revive me completely.

1 Peter 1:17-19 – If you call on him as Father, who without respect of persons judges according to each man’s work, pass the time of your living as foreigners here in reverent fear: knowing that you were redeemed, not with corruptible things, with silver or gold, from the useless way of life handed down from your fathers, but with precious blood, as of a faultless and pure lamb, the blood of Christ;

Declaration of Victory

Almighty God, today I declare that I will not submit to my circumstances. I will overcome every situation because You gave me the same power that raised Christ from the dead.

That dynamite power is within me so I claim my healing, restoration and redemption. My mind is programmed for victory therefore I will not be defeated!

In the name of Jesus Christ I pray, SO BE IT… AMEN and AMEN!

The Warfare Prayer – Engaging the Battle – Deliverance Prayer through Warfare

The Warfare Prayer - Engaging the Battle - Deliverance Prayer through Warfare

“Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the victor’s crown, the life God has promised to those who love him.” – James 1:12

Engaging in the Battle

We need tools in spiritual warfare as well. It has been the underlying purpose of this book to provide practical, usable information and insight into the waging of a winning warfare.

The world, the flesh, and the devil will be continuously defeated if we use the weapons of our warfare. The Lord has provided all the tools we need. The Lord Jesus Christ has provided all of our victory. He used the same tools He has provided us in winning the battle. His victory is our victory.

It remains our responsibility to use these weapons so graciously provided in His grace. Every time you use them you’ll thank God for the tools of victory He has provided. Just as I think with fond remembrance of the man who gave me the tool box when I use my carpenter’s tools, so your heart will reach out in an ever deepening gratitude to your Lord.

In previous chapters, importance of doctrinal truth and doctrinal praying was intended to be lifted high. Doctrine, God’s unchanging truth, is mighty in defeating our enemies. This truth must get deep into our souls. This can only come about as we gain understanding of the Holy Word of God and then use that Word aggressively in our lives.

With the permission and approval of Dr. Victor Matthews, professor of theology at the Grand Rapids Baptist Bible College and Seminary, I include here some very fine helps in keeping doctrinal truth in the forefront of your warfare.

“The Daily Affirmation of Faith” was written by Dr. Matthews to provide a concise, clear statement of the truth of the Word of God as it applies to our victory. I commend this affirmation for daily reading aloud on the part of those who are experiencing intense warfare. It will do much to build spiritual foundation into your soul. It will keep the ground of your victory aggressively in action against your enemies. Study the texts of Scripture for your own enlightenment and edification.

The Daily Affirmation of Faith

“Today I deliberately choose to submit myself fully to God as He has made Himself known to me through the Holy Scripture which I honestly accept as the only inspired, infallible, authoritative standard for all life and practice. In this day I will not judge God, His work, myself, or others on the basis of feelings or circumstances.

  1. I recognize by faith that the triune God is worthy of all honor, praise, and worship as the Creator, Sustainer, and End of all things. I confess that God, as my Creator, made me for Himself. In this day I therefore choose to live for Him (Rev 5:9,10; Is 43:1,7,21; Rev 4:11).

  2. I recognize by faith that God loved me and chose me in Jesus Christ before time began (Eph 1:1-7).

  3. I recognize by faith that God has proven His love to me in sending His Son to die in my place, in whom every provision has already been made for my past, present, and future needs through His representative work, and that I have been quickened, raised, seated with Jesus Christ in the heavenlies, and anointed with the Holy Spirit (Ro 5:6-11; 8:28; Phil 1:6; 4:6,7,13,19; Eph 1:3; 2:5,6; Ac 2:1-4,33).

  4. I recognize by faith that God has accepted me, since I have received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior (Jn 1:12; Eph 1:6); that He has forgiven me (Eph 1:7); adopted me into His family, assuming every responsibility for me (Jn 17:11,17; Eph 1:5; Phil 1:6); given me eternal life (Jn 3:36; I Jn 5:9-13); applied the perfect righteousness of Christ to me so that I am now justified (Ro 5:1; 8:3,4; 10:4); made me complete in Christ (Col 2:10); and offers Himself to me as my daily sufficiency through prayer and the decisions of faith (I Co 1:30; Col 1:27; Gal 2:20; Jn 14:13,14; Mt 21:22; Ro 6:1-19; Heb 4:1-3,11).

  5. I recognize by faith that the Holy Spirit has baptized me into the Body of Christ (I Co 12:13); sealed me (Eph 1:13,14); anointed me for life and service (Ac 1:8; Jn 7:37-39); seeks to lead me into a deeper walk with Jesus Christ (Jn 14:16-18; 15:26,27; 16:13-15; Ro 8:11-16); and to fill my life with Himself (Eph 5:18).

  6. I recognize by faith that only God can deal with sin and only God can produce holiness of life. I confess that in my salvation my part was only to receive Him and that He dealt with my sin and saved me. Now I confess that in order to live a holy life, I can only surrender to His will and receive Him as my sanctification; trusting Him to do whatever may be necessary in my life, without and within, so I may be enabled to live today in purity, freedom, rest and power for His glory (Jn 1:12; I Co 1:30; II Co 9:8; Gal 2:20; Heb 4:9; I Jn 5:4; Jude 24).

Having confessed that God is worthy of all praise, that the Scriptures are the only authoritative standard, that only God can deal with sin and produce holiness of life, I again recognize my total dependence upon Him and submission to Him. I accept the truth that praying in faith is absolutely necessary for the realization of the will and grace of God in my daily life.

Recognizing that faith is a total response to God by which the daily provisions the Lord has furnished in Himself are appropriated, I therefore make the following decisions of faith:

  1. For this day (Heb 3:6,13,15; 4:7) I make the decision of faith to surrender wholly to the authority of God as He has revealed Himself in the Scripture to obey Him. I confess my sin, face the sinful reality of my old nature, and deliberately choose to walk in the light, in step with Christ, throughout the hours of this day (Ro 6:16-20; Phil 2:12,13; I Jn 1:7,9).

  2. For this day I make the decision of faith to surrender wholly to the authority of God as revealed in the Scripture–to believe Him. I accept only His Word as final authority. I now believe that since I have confessed my sin He has forgiven and cleansed me (I Jn 1:9). I accept at full value His Word of promise to be my sufficiency and rest, and will conduct myself accordingly (Ex 33:1; I Co 1:30; II Co 9:8; Phil 4:19).

  3. For this day I make the decision of faith to recognize that God has made every provision so that I may fulfill His will and calling. Therefore, I will not make any excuse for my sin and failure (I Th 5:24).

  4. For this day I make the decision of faith deliberately to receive from God that provision which He has made for me. I renounce all self-effort to live the Christian life and to perform God’s service; renounce all sinful praying which asks God to change circumstances and people so that I may be more spiritual; renounce all drawing back from the work of the Holy Spirit within and the call of God without; and renounce all nonbiblical motives, goals, and activities which serve my sinful pride.

— I now sincerely receive Jesus Christ as my sanctification, particularly as my cleansing from the old nature, and ask the Holy Spirit to apply to me the work of Christ accomplished for me in the crucifixion. In cooperation with and dependence upon Him, I obey the command to “put off the old man” (Ro 6:1-14; I Co 1:30; Gal 6:14; Eph 4:22).

— I now sincerely receive Jesus Christ as my sanctification, particularly as my enablement moment by moment to live above sin, and ask the Holy Spirit to apply to me the work of the resurrection so that I may walk in newness of life. I confess that only God can deal with my sin and only God can produce holiness and the fruit of the Spirit in my life. In cooperation with and dependence upon Him, I obey the command to “put on the new man” (Ro 6:1-4; Eph 4:24).

— I now sincerely receive Jesus Christ as my deliverance from Satan and take my position with Him in the heavenlies, asking the Holy Spirit to apply to me the work of the ascension. In His Name I submit myself to God and stand against all of Satan’s influence and subtlety. In cooperation with and dependence upon God, I obey the command to “resist the devil” (Eph 1:20- 23; 2:5; 4:27; 6:10-18; Col 1:13; Ja 4:7; I Pe 3:22; 5:89).

— I now sincerely receive the Holy Spirit as my anointing for every aspect of life and service for today. I fully open my life to Him to fill me afresh in obedience to the command to “be filled with the Holy Spirit” (Eph 5:18; Jn 7:37-39; 14:16,17; 15:26,27; 16:7-15; Ac 1:8).

“Having made this confession and these decisions of faith, I now receive God’s promised rest for this day (Heb 4:1-13). Therefore, I relax in the trust of faith, knowing that in the moment of temptation, trial, or need, the Lord Himself will be there as my strength and sufficiency (I Co 10:13).”

The Warfare Prayer

Another doctrinal tool that has proved of great benefit to me and to many others is the “Warfare Prayer” composed by Dr. Matthews. As a theologian, his unique and thorough way of including sound doctrine in this prayer is most helpful. I would urge anyone facing obvious spiritual warfare to use this prayer daily. It is good to read it aloud as a prayer unto the Lord. Eventually one will be able to incorporate the doctrinal truths expressed into his own prayer life without reading it.

The devil hates this prayer. Usually before working with anyone who has deep demonic affliction, I will request that we read this prayer in unison. Many times the oppressed one can read only with great difficulty. Sometimes sight problems, voice problems, or mind confusion become so intense that the afflicted person can continue only with great effort.

It is the truth of God that Satan cannot resist, and he vigorously fights it being applied against him. Those serious about warfare should daily use a prayer of this type along with other prayer examples shared in this book.

THE WARFARE PRAYER

Heavenly Father, I bow in worship and praise before You. I cover myself with the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ as my protection during this time of prayer. I surrender myself completely and unreservedly in every area of my life to Yourself. I do take a stand against all the workings of Satan that would hinder me in this time of prayer, and I address myself only to the true and living God and refuse any involvement of Satan in my prayer.

[Satan, I command you, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, to leave my presence with all your demons, and I bring the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ between us.]

Heavenly Father, I worship You, and I give You praise. I recognize that You are worthy to receive all glory and honor and praise. I renew my allegiance to You and pray that the blessed Holy Spirit would enable me in this time of prayer.

I am thankful, heavenly Father, that You have loved me from past eternity, that You sent the Lord Jesus Christ into the world to die as my substitute that I would be redeemed. I am thankful that the Lord Jesus Christ came as my representative, and that through Him You have completely forgiven me; You have given me eternal life; You have given me the perfect righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ so I am now justified. I am thankful that in Him You have made me complete, and that You have offered Yourself to me to be my daily help and strength.

Heavenly Father, come and open my eyes that I might see how great You are and how complete Your provision is for this new day. I do, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, take my place with Christ in the heavenlies with all principalities and powers (powers of darkness and wicked spirits) under my feet.

I am thankful that the victory the Lord Jesus Christ won for me on the cross and in His resurrection has been given to me and that I am seated with the Lord Jesus Christ in the heavenlies; therefore, I declare that all principalities and powers and all wicked spirits are subject to me in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

I am thankful for the armor You have provided, and I put on the girdle of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the sandals of peace, the helmet of salvation. I lift up the shield of faith against all the fiery darts of the enemy, and take in my hand the sword of the spirit, the Word of God, and use Your Word against all the forces of evil in my life; and I put on this armor and live and pray in complete dependence upon You, blessed Holy Spirit.

I am grateful, heavenly Father, that the Lord Jesus Christ spoiled all principalities and powers and made a show of them openly and triumphed over them in Himself. I claim all that victory for my life today. I reject out of my life all the insinuations, the accusations, and the temptations of Satan.

I affirm that the Word of God is true, and I choose to live today in the light of God’s Word. I choose, heavenly Father, to live in obedience to You and in fellowship with Yourself. Open my eyes and show me the areas of my life that would not please You. Work in my life that there be no ground to give Satan a foothold against me.

Show me any area of weakness. Show me any area of my life that I must deal with so that I would please You. I do in every way today stand for You and the ministry of the Holy Spirit in my life.

By faith and in dependence upon You, I put off the old man and stand into all the victory of the crucifixion where the Lord Jesus Christ provided cleansing from the old nature. I put on the new man and stand into all the victory of the resurrection and the provision He has made for me there to live above sin.

Therefore, in this day, I put off the old nature with its selfishness, and I put on the new nature with its love. I put off the old nature with its fear and I put on the new nature with its courage. I put off the old nature with its weakness and I put on the new nature with its strength. I put off today the old nature with all its deceitful lusts and I put on the new nature with all its righteousness and purity.

I do in every way stand into the victory of the ascension and the glorification of the Son of God where all principalities and powers were made subject to Him, and I claim my place in Christ victorious with Him over all the enemies of my soul. Blessed Holy Spirit, I pray that You would fill me. Come into my life, break down every idol and cast out every foe.

I am thankful, heavenly Father, for the expression of Your will for my daily life as You have shown me in Your Word. I therefore claim all the will of God for today.

I am thankful that You have blessed me with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. I am thankful that You have begotten me unto a living hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. I am thankful that You have made a provision so that today I can live filled with the Spirit of God with love and joy and self-control in my life. And I recognize that this is Your will for me, and I therefore reject and resist all the endeavors of Satan and of his demons to rob me of the will of God.

I refuse in this day to believe my feelings, and I hold up the shield of faith against all the accusations and against all the insinuations that Satan would put in my mind. I claim the fullness of the will of God for today.

I do, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, completely surrender myself to You, heavenly Father, as a living sacrifice. I choose not to be conformed to this world. I choose to be transformed by the renewing of my mind, and I pray that You would show me Your will and enable me to walk in all the fullness of the will of God today.

I am thankful, heavenly Father, that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, to the casting down of imaginations and every high thing that exalted itself against the knowledge of God, and to bring every thought into obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore in my own life today I tear down the strongholds of Satan, and I smash the plans of Satan that have been formed against me. I tear down the strongholds of Satan against my mind, and I surrender my mind to You, blessed Holy Spirit.

I affirm, heavenly Father, that You have not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. I break and smash the strongholds of Satan formed against my emotions today, and I give my emotions to You. I smash the strongholds of Satan formed against my will today, and I give my will to You, and choose to make the right decisions of faith. I smash the strongholds of Satan formed against my body today, and I give my body to You, recognizing that I am Your temple; and I rejoice in Your mercy and Your goodness.

Heavenly Father, I pray that now through this day You would quicken me; show me the way that Satan is hindering and tempting and lying and counterfeiting and distorting the truth in my life. Enable me to be the kind of person that would please You. Enable me to be aggressive in prayer. Enable me to be aggressive mentally and to think Your thoughts after You, and to give You Your rightful place in my life.

Again, I now cover myself with the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and pray that You, blessed Holy Spirit, would bring all the work of the crucifixion, all the work of the resurrection, all the work of the glorification, and all the work of Pentecost into my life today. I surrender myself to You.

I refuse to be discouraged. You are the God of all hope. You have proven Your power by resurrecting Jesus Christ from the dead, and I claim in every way Your victory over all satanic forces active in my life, and I reject these forces; and I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ with thanksgiving. Amen.

Warfare Prayer – Cleaning and Routing Demons – Jesus Christ Name – Prayer against Satan

Warfare Prayer – Cleaning and Routing Demons – Jesus Christ Name – Prayer

Warfare Prayer – Cleaning and Routing Demons – Jesus Christ Name – Prayer against Satan

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” – John 16:33

Are you in a battle today, and it’s taking more than just a physical toll on you? Are you finding it difficult to find the words to tell the devil to be gone? Spiritual warfare is crippling, real, and troublesome, but Jesus has already won us the victory! Pray along with these words now and let the Lord break the chains of fear and bondage!

Jesus, sometimes I can almost sense the heaviness of pressure mounting and the ominous presence of darkness around me. I recognize my enemy is at work again. Whether he’s trying to discourage me to get sidetracked, to fall into temptation, to give up, or to take my eyes off you, he’s always hanging around.

I need your supernatural power, Lord, to stand strong and not surrender. Physical force won’t help, because you’ve said the weapons of our warfare are different from those in this world. As believers, ours are powerful and can demolish strongholds and lies. These supernatural weapons originate from you. By your precious name and blood, Jesus, I’m asking you to confuse Satan and cancel his attempts to shut me and my influence down. Help me not to become discouraged or to give in when heavy times of testing come.

When I’m tired and weak, you are strong, Lord, and you are my only source of help. I cannot fight without you. Teach me how to pray and to trust you to pull down those strongholds that keep me or others helpless. Guard me from isolation that leaves me exposed and vulnerable. I believe you destroyed the power of my enemy by your death and resurrection. But like a bad penny, my enemy keeps showing up, whispering lies, twisting truth, and attempting to inflate my selfish pride. He never gives up.

I am declaring the devil and his demons liars today, Lord. Through the power of your precious name and blood, I agree with your Word and the truth that you are in me and that you are greater than my enemy who wants to rule the world. You, your Word, and prayer, Lord, are my secret weapons. I belong to you, and that fills me with a powerful God-confidence. I want to constantly dress in the spiritual armor you give me. Help me use it to defend others from Satan’s fiery darts as well. No one and nothing can snatch me away from your hand.

Strengthen my faith, Lord. Forgive my sins, so that I may be clean in your righteousness. Make me brave, so I can stand and fight the spiritual battles in my life and in our world. Give me your wisdom and discernment so I won’t be caught off guard. Together, Lord, we’ll win, because in truth, you already have.

Spirit of Heaviness GO in Jesus Name

Warfare Prayer against Lust – Warfare Prayer for uncleanness – Father Prayer – Holy Prayer

Warfare Prayer against Lust - Warfare prayer for Satan - Rebuking evil - 4 Horsemen

Warfare Prayer against Lust

Ephesians 5:3  (KJV) But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;

Father, I come boldly before Your throne of grace and mercy to find help and strength in my time of need. Lord, Your word says in Matthew 26:41 to watch and pray so that we will not enter into temptation, for we know that the spirit is willing, but Father, I know my flesh is weak. Lord, Your word says in James 4:7 that if we submit ourselves unto You, and resist the enemy, he will flee from us. Lord I fully submit to You, I resist this lust, I need you. Father, I am weak, but you are made strong in my weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9) So by my faith, I overcome, In You. Being unable to overcome this lust myself, I give the burden to you by faith (Psalm 55:22) so that I am able to withstand the devil and his many temptations, by my faith, my strength, and hope, that is in in you. Therefore, Lord I confess that I am strong in You, and in the power of Your might (Ephesians 6:10).

Father, in the name of Jesus, I cast down every wicked, lustful, lascivious, and unclean thought of the enemy in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth (2 Cor 10:5). In your strength, I refuse, and will refuse, to allow any thoughts of the enemy to enter in; I cast them from me in the name of Jesus. I completely repent and turn from all lust. Father, I pray that You will cause me to think upon those things which are pure, honest, and of a good report (Philippians 4:8), and I pray that you will not allow my mind to wander into idleness and lust, but that it stay upon the name and person of Jesus.

Father, I thank You for revealing the evil lustful spirits, attempting to drive me to lust. I thank You and believe you will not allow me to be drawn away by the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, or the pride of Life (John 2:16). I thank You for not allowing me to be overcome with lust in my eyes, for I know the eyes are the door to the heart, and Your words says to guard my heart with all diligence (Proverbs 4:23) Father, please help me guard my heart by the words that I speak, and strengthen me to guard my thoughts and eyes. Father, I pray that You place upon me the whole amour of God, so that I will always be able to stand against the devises of the enemy (Ephesians 6:10-20). I pray and thank you, that You lead and deliver me from every temptation of lust, sin, and evil desire.

In the name of the Lord Jesus, I take authority over Satan, every principality, every evil spirit, and every spirit of wickedness in high places. I cut every ungodly soul tie associated with all evil memory recall concerning lust. I bind all spirits involved in the name of Jesus Christ, and render them without power to operate in my life. I cut all lust, and all its triggers off my mind, will, and emotions and I surrender lust and its desires from out of my heart, to you Lord Jesus. In the name of Jesus, I bind and cast off every spirit of lust, adultery, fornication, lasciviousness, and uncleanliness in my life. Father, I surrender my body to you as a living sacrifice (Romans 12:1), and I recognize that my body is the temple of the Almighty Living God, and a dwelling place for His Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19), and I rejoice in knowing that the blood of Jesus Christ sanctifies, cleanses and covers me.

Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy:

Satan, in the name of the Lord Jesus, every stronghold, you have attempted to bring against me is rendered, powerless and void, by the authority of Jesus Christ! I put off all forms of lust and put on my new nature, in spirit, of holiness righteousness, and purity, (Ephesians 4:24). I strip lust of all power over my flesh and carnal mind! Jesus has defeated you Satan and I take dominion over you, you are under my feet, and your power of lust and sin is broken in my life. I abide in Jesus. I have dominion and have received victory.

Father, I thank You for hearing my prayer, and delivering me from the power of the enemy. I thank You for Your word, that it is established in my heart, my thoughts, and life. I thank You for giving me power over the enemy, I thank You for strengthening me so that my body is not defiled by lust, because it is Your Temple. Thank You Lord, for restoring me, for cleansing me, and for overcoming for me. I praise You,(from my heart) and give You all the glory, and sing Hallelujah to the name of Jesus. I have the victory IN You and through You. I believe I have received (mark11:24) the victory.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

I PRAISE YOU GOD AND GIVE YOU GLORY

In Jesus mighty name, Amen.

7 Powerful Prayers That Focus on Protection and Security – Daily Prayer – Prayer against Enermies

7 Powerful Prayers That Focus on Protection and Security

7 Powerful Prayers That Focus on Protection and Security

Protection is on our minds daily. In a world filled with hatred, danger, and violence, how should we respond? Our children and families are at risk, and we shoulder the responsibility for their security. What can we do to shield them from harm? How can we enlist God’s help for their safety?

God has ordained prayer as the vital force we can all use to guard us and our loved ones from the evil around us. If that’s your desire, here are several prayers that might help you voice your thoughts to God:

A Daily Prayer for Protection

Lord God, I pray for Your protection as I begin this day. You are my hiding place, and under Your wings I can always find refuge. Protect me from trouble wherever I go, and keep evil far from me. No matter where I am, I will look to You as my Protector, the One Who fights for me every day. Your love and faithfulness, along with Your goodness and mercy, surround me daily, so I will not fear whatever might come against me. My trust is in You, God, and I give thanks to You for Your love and protection. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

A Prayer for Your Husband’s Protection

Lord Jesus, I ask You to protect my husband and shield him from danger. Make him strong, defined by Your character, so that he can lean hard on You for wisdom in any situation. Guard him by the power of Your name, and allow nothing formed against him to prosper. Hold him close to Your heart, with his eyes focused always on You. At home, work, or wherever he goes, keep his heart and thoughts pure. Lead him away from temptation, and help him to be continually aware of his enemy’s efforts to distract, deceive, or discourage him. Cancel every attempt to discredit my husband or his salvation.

May Your right hand strengthen him daily as You guard him with your presence. Help him wear his spiritual armor well, as he tries to lead his family with integrity and honor. Seal up the exits that cry for escape when responsibilities grow heavy on his shoulders. Thank You that You promise to carry his burdens and lighten his load in the daily battles of life. Preserve his testimony and keep his faith rooted deeply in You, Lord. You are His Sure Defense, and You are the only One who can truly keep him safe. Thank You, Jesus.

A Prayer for Your Children’s Protection

Father, I entrust my children into Your loving care. You are the most powerful influence in their lives, so I ask You to surround them with Your constant presence and safety. Because You love children, You are even more concerned than I am as a parent. You take their protection seriously. Place Your Holy Spirit around them like a bubble that deflects any harm aimed their way. Guard them from danger at school, whether from outside or inside. Place Your angels in strategic places, ready to move on their behalf. Let no evil come near them.

Give them a steadfast faith and trust in You that puts their fears at rest, knowing they will live in safety with Your solid protection. Guard them from temptation and those who would try to make them compromise their convictions. When trouble comes, let them cry out to You, their Deliverer and Refuge. May their security rest not in this world, but in their relationship with You and in their eternal future. Impress on them daily that this world is not their final home, and that nothing and no one can ever separate them from Your love. In Jesus’ precious name, Amen.

A Prayer for Protection Against Evil

Lord Jesus, evil is such a harsh word, and yet Your Word uses it frequently to describe the opposite of good. While we are all capable of sin, I ask Your protection against those who call good evil, and evil good. Guard us from those who scheme against righteousness and from those who twist truth into lies to accomplish their evil intents. May Your angels hover ever near to eradicate fear and fight against dark, spiritual forces we cannot see. Help us cast down every imagination and thought that our enemy tries to use to exalt itself against You.

You dealt our spiritual enemy a fateful blow on Calvary when you died on the cross for us and were resurrected on the third day. While evil still roams, the power of Your name and Your blood rises up to defeat and bring us victory against every evil planned against us. While malicious actions may disturb us, we use the armor of God You have given us to stand firm. You will bring justice in due time for all the harm and needless violence aimed at Your children. Until then, we remain in Your presence, aligned with Your purposes, and we look to You as our Supreme Commander and Protector. Help us to avoid temptation, and deliver us from evil, Lord. You are the Mighty One, the One Who will ultimately bring all evil to light. With You, Jesus, we are safe.

A Prayer for Protection from Earthly Enemies

Precious Jesus, You know what it means to be pursued by earthly enemies. And because of Your compassion and understanding, You know the harm we and our families face every day. As Christians and followers of Yours, we will be marked as enemies. Our children need protection from bullies, from misguided avengers, and from false philosophies that attack their spiritual heritage. Fiendish plots pursue our children’s hearts daily and try to entice them into harmful practices. Hold our loved ones tightly, Lord, and never let them go.

Command Your angels, Lord, to keep us in all our ways, so that no harm or disaster will come near to our home or our lives. Our trust is not in our ability but in Your stability as our El Shaddai. Our weapons of warfare are spiritual, and we look to You for victory. Show us when to speak up, when to listen, and when to act, always aware that You are fighting our battles for us and with us. Teach us to love our enemies, to pray for them, but to resist evil in Your powerful name. We don’t fear those who might try to hurt us physically. We are confident in our eternal security. Our fear is a holy, righteous reverence based on Who You are and Whose we have become in You. As Commander and Chief, You will defend us from all earthly enemies. And as long as You are with us, we fear no evil. In Your name, Amen.

A Prayer for Protection at Work

Lord God, I pray for Your physical and spiritual protection in the workplace, where our influence, our priorities, and our character are tested daily. Help us to remember that every foolish action reaps consequences, and every careless word carries weight among our coworkers. Others are watching, Lord, so set a watch before our mouths and guard the door of our lips. Protect us from those who try to sway our convictions or tempt us to compromise our standards in the name of success. Place an invisible banner over us that reminds us of Your protective love and that we belong to You.

Our work is important to You, so turn us away from slothfulness or misplaced priorities. When others aim criticism our way or when misunderstanding arises, guard us from impatience or anger. Protect us from our own sinful nature and help us to always take the high road of love in dealing with dissatisfied customers or disgruntled colleagues. Thank You for Your promise never to leave us or abandon us, and that Your Spirit lives inside of us to give wisdom, understanding, and security against those who want to pull us away or harm us. You are Lord, and as our Employer, we look to You to preserve all benefits involved in that relationship. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

A Prayer for Good Health and Protection from Harm

We bless You, Lord, for You are our Jehovah Rapha, the Healer of all our diseases. Our body is the temple of Your Spirit, so we pray for protection from that which could bring harm to us physically. Guard us from stresses that steal our emotional strength and lower our immunity to fight infection. Heal us of past traumas that may affect our present or future health. Teach us how to discipline our bodies so we can grow stronger and increase our physical stamina. When challenges arise, we need not fear, for You have given us a spirit of power, of love, and a sound mind.

As the Great Physician, You know us so well. You ordained every part of our body even before we were born. Help us to treat our bodies with respect as Your beloved creations. We want to serve You with excellence, so in our weakness, grant us strength and good health so that nothing will prevent Your plan for our lives. Protect us from contagions and disease that can riddle the body and bring dangerous results. Safeguard us with wisdom to use well the rest You provide as we wait on You and with You daily. Our lives and our health are in Your hands, Lord, and our trust and faith are in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

5 Psalms that Remind You God is Near

Psalm 23:4 NIV
Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

Psalm 32:7 NIV
You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.

Psalm 34:17 NIV
The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.

Psalm 91:14 NIV
“Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.”

Psalm 145:18 NIV
The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.

God doesn’t want fear to rule our lives. As our Great Protector, He is more concerned with our safety than we are. When we trust Him and His promises of protection and security, we can live boldly and confidently, knowing He is in control and will bring good out of every experience. Nothing escapes His attention, and nothing can remove us from the Father’s hand. When we pray and call on Him, He hears us, ready to meet every need. What a joy and blessing to have that kind of personal relationship with the One who knows us by name. What a sweet place of protection to rest in the arms of our loving heavenly Father.

5 Prayers for Protection – Protection from Evil Bible – Powerful Prayers for Protection and Safety from the Bible

5 Prayers for Protection - Protection from Evil Bible - Prayers for Protection and Safety from the Bible

Our world is filled with events and situations that can cause great fear and anxiety. It’s easy to become overwhelmed and live imprisoned by fear.  We are promised in God’s Word that he is faithful and will protect us (2 Thessalonians 3:3).  God wants us to let go of fear and to live life to the fullest! (John 10:10) When you are overcome by worry, use these prayers for protection to remember who God is and the protection he has promised you.

1. Prayer for Personal Protection

Father, I come to You today, bowing in my heart, asking for protection from the evil one. Lord, we are assailed moment by moment with images on television, the internet, books and newspapers that leave us vulnerable to sin of every kind. Surround us with Your divine hedge of protection. Encompass us round about with Your strength and Your might. Let all who take refuge in You be glad, let them ever sing for joy. And may You shelter us, that those who love Your name may exult in You. For it is You who blesses the righteous man, O LORD, You surround him favor as with a shield. (Psalm 5:11-12)

Lord, I ask that You protect our minds. Father, the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace. (Romans 8:6) O God, set our minds on You. Let us not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our minds that we may prove what Your will is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. (Romans 12:2) Help us by the power of Your Spirit to think on whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything is worthy of praise, let our minds dwell on these things. (Philippians 4:8)

Strengthen us in the power of Your might, O God. Dress us in Your armor so that we can stand firm against the schemes of the devil. We know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.(Ephesians 6:10-12)

You are our keeper, O Lord, the shade on our right hand. Protect us from all evil and keep our soul. Guard our going out and our coming in. From this time and forever. In Jesus’ name, Amen. – by Lynn Cooke

2. Prayer for the Protection and Safety of Family

Lord, I pray Your emotional, physical, and spiritual protection over my kids (grandkids). Keep evil far from them, and help them to trust You as their refuge and strength. I pray You will guard their minds from harmful instruction, and grant them discernment to recognize truth. I pray You will make them strong and courageous in the presence of danger, recognizing that You have overcome and will set right all injustice and wrong one day. Help them to find rest in Your shadow, as they live in the spiritual shelter You provide for them. Let them know that the only safe place is in Jesus, and that their home on earth is only temporary.  – Ryan Duncan, Culture Editor at Crosswalk.com

3. Prayer for Children’s Security

Lord, I pray that my kids (grandkids) will develop an eternal perspective and purpose, not an earthly one.  Help them to see life–and every challenge–through Your eyes, eager and unafraid to share with others the good news of Jesus wherever they go. I pray that they will set their minds on things above, not just what’s going on here, and that they will be rooted and grounded in Your love. I pray they will come to understand the extent of Your own love for them–that it surpasses all the head knowledge they will acquire in school. I pray they will be filled up with You from morning ’til night. – Rebecca Barlow Jordan

4. “St. Patrick’s Breastplate” Protective Prayer:

Celtic monks used it to start their day.The hymn was several stanzas long, and the last two stanzas were especially memorable and moving:

Christ be with me, Christ within me,
Christ behind me, Christ before me,
Christ beside me, Christ to win me,
Christ to comfort and restore me.
Christ beneath me, Christ above me,
Christ in quiet, Christ in danger,
Christ in hearts of all that love me,
Christ in mouth of friend and stranger.

I bind unto myself the Name,
The strong Name of the Trinity;

5. “Priestly Blessings” Prayer from Scripture:

Numbers 6:22-27 is known as the “Priestly Blessing” or sometimes the “Aaronic Benediction.” There are seven requests made in this prayer.

The LORD said to Moses, “Tell Aaron and his sons, ‘This is how you are to bless the Israelites. Say to them: “’The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.”‘ “So they will put my name on the Israelites, and I will bless them.”

  1. The Lord bless you…
The word “bless” means to “provide favor or benefit.” Father, we pray that for our children. You are the Eternal God. Please place Your great kindness and advantage on those we love. May they be approved and favored by You.
  2. and keep you…
The Hebrew word “keep” means to “watch, guard, defend.” This is a prayer for protection. Father, my children are not perfect. They are going to make mistakes. But please watch over them and guard them again mistakes of youth that are unalterable. Please defend them against temptation. Protect them against Satan who desires to devour them.
  3. the LORD make his face shine upon you…
This is a request for God’s presence.Father, as a parent I know that I can’t be with my children all the time, but You can. Just like they feel the warmth of the sun shining on them, please allow them to experience Your presence. Thank You for being with them wherever they go.
  4. and be gracious to you…
Grace is God’s undeserved favor. He gives us what we don’t deserve. Father, thank You for Your gift of grace. I pray that gift to be poured out on my children. Following that great gift of salvation, please show them your kindness and love in all the endeavors of their lives.
  5. the Lord turn his face toward you…
Here is a request for God’s fellowship.Father, thank You, that because of their trust in Jesus, the Holy Spirit lives in my children. Please walk with them in a powerful way. Enable them to submit to the Spirit’s control day by day and moment by moment.
  6. and give you peace.
The Hebrew word for peace used here is “shalom.” It means “completeness, wholeness, and contentment.” Lord, please calm my children’s fears; soothe their anxious souls. Keep them complete and whole in their thinking, emotions, desires, and actions.
  7. So they will put my name on ___________ (the name of your child/children).
This is a request of identification. Lord, please place Your holy mark on my children. Set them apart to be used by You. I love them but You love them more. You love them with an everlasting love. May they represent You well on their earthly journey. And when their journey is completed, welcome them home to live forever with You.

Prayers for Protection and Safety from the Bible

“But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.” – 2 Thessalonians 3:3

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” – Psalm 46:1

“My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.” – John 17:15

‘And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.” – Matthew 6:13

“Because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful one see decay. You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.” – Psalm 16:10-11

Prayer for Protection

There is a long tradition in the Jewish faith of God being seen as a protector – the feast of passover celebrates this, and this theme permeates much of the Old Testament writing. In the Christian faith, not only does the Lord promise to be with his people always, but His presence is said to guard their inner beings. When Paul wrote to the Church in Philippi, he encouraged them with these words:-

“…the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus”.

(Phil 4:7, WEB)

When we pray for God’s protection, we can remind ourselves that we live in this long tradition of faith in a God as guard and protector.

Lower down on this page is a modern Christian prayer for safety and protection, an ancient Celtic prayer and a good meditation on God’s guardianship from Youtube. There are also prayers for family protection and safety at night, and two short prayers for protection at work and protection against evil. Near the bottom of this page can be found bible verses about God’s care and safety.

How To Be Sure God Listens To Your Prayers – Does God Really Answer Prayer? Yes, in Four Ways

Walkin in the Steps of Jesus - God answers Your Prayers

Do you believe God really answers prayer? Really and truly… that God hears your personal prayers and cares enough to respond?

Your answer to those questions probably dictates if, when, where, and how you pray.

You know, prayer can serve many purposes, but generally speaking, it’s an intimate conversation with God. Prayer involves Him stirring our hearts, us communicating with Him, and then listening for how God may respond to us.

Now, when it comes to prayer, there are a lot of folks who have the idea that God doesn’t want us to ask Him questions. But that’s not true! God delights in His children asking Him questions. In fact, God was asked questions… big and small… all the way through the Bible.

One of the people who literally put God “on trial” was a man from the Old Testament named Habakkuk. Habakkuk was a prophet in Judah, and he felt the full weight of the problems, pressures, sins, and difficulties of his family and of his nation.

SEE ALSO: What Does God Promise You?

And although Habakkuk lived a long time ago, his story is extremely relevant…especially when you look at modern history and all that we’re dealing with in America and around the world.

In Habakkuk 1:2, Habbakuk asked the following of the Lord:

“How long, O LORD, will I call for help, and You will not hear?”

This was one of those big, deep, tough, “life” questions that Habakkuk was asking God. In the midst of all the chaos surrounding his life, he was basically asking, “God, where were you when I needed you the most?”

SEE ALSO: How to Find God When He’s Silent

Habakkuk was grappling with something each of us deals with as believers: unanswered prayer. He was complaining about the silence of God… and in his heart he desperately wanted to know why God wasn’t answering his prayers.

I’m sure you’ve probably felt this way before. Anyone who’s been walking with the Lord for any amount of time has. We want answers when we pray! And it’s frustrating when it seems like God is silent.

If you’ve ever felt this way, or even feel this way today, I have a word of encouragement for you. God does answer prayer. But He does it in four different ways.

“I can’t hear you.” Sometimes the Lord can’t hear us when we pray. And it’s not because we need to talk louder or speak more clearly. Sometimes God can’t hear us when we pray because according to Psalm 66 and Isaiah 5, there is sin in our life.

“No.” Sometimes the Lord says “No” when we pray. And while this can be a very difficult answer to receive, it’s still an answer…regardless if we understand His decision at the moment or not. God is able to reveal His strength in you and me when we are broken and weak. So there is a purpose when God says “No.”

“Yes.” There is true power in prayer. And when we pray in Jesus’ name, He may also say “Yes.” “Yes, I’ll forgive. Yes, I’ll heal. Yes, I’ll step in to help.”

“Wait.” Sometimes the toughest answer to receive from God is “Wait.” When this happens, we need to remind ourselves that God is in control and can certainly handle our situation. We need to allow Him to continue working in whatever way He sees fit. And we can’t try to take back the situation, but must truly be patient and wait on God’s timing!

And this is exactly what God said to Habakkuk. He told him, “Even though you don’t think I’m listening, Habakkuk, I am working on a plan that is so much larger than you.”

The truth is, even though Habakkuk couldn’t see it, God was working the whole time! And the same is true in your life as a follower of Christ. If you’re in a holding pattern, trust that God is working, and that He is sovereign over all the details in your life.

God indeed does answer prayer…and, yes, your prayers!

Prayers to Pray – Prayer Help – Call to Intercession: Pray the Church Recaptures the Spirit of Declaration Day

Propehcy Bible Christianity Jerusalem Prayer Jesus Christ News Breaking News Coming of the Christ Anima Christ Churc (6)

Last week on July 4, we celebrated the signing of the Declaration of Independence and called it Independence Day. Actually, our Independence came seven years later, in 1783. On July 4, 1776, we made a declaration of our basic principles, and so the holiday should really be called Declaration Day.

Our Founding Fathers declared first of all that all men were created equal. This powerful statement acknowledges that we are created by God, and that all else comes from Him. It was God who created us equal, with no preference for ancestry, skin color or other distinction. They actually echoed the biblical statement that, in Christ, “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, and there is neither male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus” (Gal. 3:28).

Secondly, they declared that it was God who endowed us with inalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. No one can take our lives because “God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son” (1 John 5:11b). In the same way, it is the Spirit of the Lord who gives us freedom (2 Cor. 3:17b), not to indulge ourselves, but to serve others in love (Gal. 5:13). The Lord gives us the choice of which path to follow in pursuit of happiness (Deut. 30:19), but He guides us to happiness by showing us that life, righteousness and honor come from pursuit of righteousness and love (Prov. 21:21).

In the many years since 1776, our nation has struggled to live up to the principles declared by our Founding Fathers. The stain of slavery and racism, denying God’s declaration of equality, has only now begun to disappear from society. Yet, in modern times, many have forgotten that our rights come from God, denying Him and looking to the state as our source of rights and happiness. Even the right to life has been subverted to a false freedom to serve ourselves. We stand in grave danger of losing the rights and freedoms declared so eloquently in 1776.

It’s time to turn things around.

Let us start with ourselves and join the Founding Fathers in their declaration:

* God created us, and everything comes from Him.

* God created us equal, to be one in Christ.

* God has given us the right to life through Christ.

* God has given us freedom in order to serve others.

* God has given us the right to pursue genuine happiness through righteousness and love.

Let us pray that the church will recapture the Spirit of Declaration Day and pass it on to a nation desperately in need of real equality, life, liberty and happiness.

He is not only with me but in me, and I in Him.”

“I have called upon Thee, For Thou wilt hear me, o Lord, and hear my speech. Show Thy marvelous loving kindness, O Thou that savest by Thy right hand those who put their trust in Thee from those That rise up against them. Keep me as the apple of thine eye; Hide me under the shadow of Thy wings.”

[Psalm 7: 6,7,8]

All Things Exist By Thee

Thou hast made known unto me Thy deep, mysterious things. All things exist by Thee and there is none beside Thee. By Thy Law Thou hast directed my heart that I set my steps straight forward upon right paths and walk where Thy presence is.

Through Thy mystic insight Thou hast caused a spring of knowledge to well up within me, a fountain of power, pouring forth living waters, a flood of love and of all-embracing wisdom like the splendor of eternal Light.

In Thy Mercy

Father, God, in Thy mercy, in Thy love, Be Thou with us now. For we know and we speak of Thy love. And help us then to put away, for the hour, The cares of this life; that we may know in truth That the spirit and the lamb say, “Come.” Let them that hear also say, “Come.” Let all that will, come and drink of the water of life.

Prayers for Strength and Guidance – For Strength and Wisdom – Prayers for Strength and Courage – Bible Scripture For Strength

Prayers for Strength and Guidance

A Prayer for Strength is often needed during difficult times. God is always here for us, to give us strength and lift our hearts when all seems hopeless.

“I can do all things through Christ, which strengthens me.”

Most of us realize that our own strength is not always enough to get through some of the situations that this life brings.

At those difficult times, it is wise to call on God for extra strength and for His strength to help sustain you when your own strength fails. (Psalms 28:8 and Isaiah 40:29)

7 Prayers for Strength

Give Me Strength, Lord

Lord, you are Holy above all others, and all of the strength that I need is in your hands.

I am not asking, Lord, that you take this trial away. Instead, I simply ask that Your will be done in my life. Whatever that means, that is what I want.

But I admit that it’s hard, Lord.

Sometimes I feel like I can’t go on. The pain and the fear are too much for me, and I know that I don’t have the strength on my own to get through this.

I know that I can come to you, Jesus, and that you will hear my prayer. I know that it is not your intent to bring me to this point just to leave me in the wilderness alone.

Please, Lord, give me the strength that I need to face today. don’t have to worry about tomorrow.

If you just give me the strength that I need today that is all I need.

Keep me from sinning during this trial. Instead, help me to keep my eyes on you. You are the Holy Lord, and all of my hope rests in you.

Thank you for hearing my prayer.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.

For Strength and Wisdom

Thank you, Lord, for being there for me and allowing me to cry out to you in my times of need.

It is amazing to me that the Lord of the Universe would take time to listen to me and to care about what I say.

God, there are things happening around me right now that I do not understand. Some of these things make me feel weak, helpless and afraid.

Even in the midst of this, I know that you are the Lord.

I know that the situation is in Your hand, and I trust You.

I beseech you for strength and for wisdom that I would be able to endure this situation and be able to handle it in a way that would bring glory to Your name.

In Jesus name. Amen.

Don’t ever be ashamed at feeling weak. Remember what the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 12:10:

“Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.”

Prayer for Overcoming Life’s Hardships

O Lord, we call upon You in our time of sorrow, That You give us the strength and will to bear our heavy burdens, until we can again feel the warmth and love of Your divine compassion. Be mindful of us and have mercy on us while we struggle to comprehend life’s hardships.

Keep us ever in Your watch, til we can walk again with light hearts and renewed spirits.

Strength for a Friend

Lord, I come before you today knowing that all power is in Your hand. I know that you are the Lord and that you care for your people. Right now, my friend is struggling with a difficult trial. I can see her strength is faltering, Lord, and know that you have all of the strength that she needs.

I pray that you will reach down and touch her right now wherever she is at this moment. Let your presence fill the room where she is and let her feel an extra portion of your strength that can help her to get through this day.

She needs you now, Lord, and I thank you in advance for meeting her where she is and shoring up her strength during this difficult time.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayers for Strength and Courage

Say these prayers when you’re in need of strength and courage. Day to day troubles are no match for the power of the Lord.

To be Grateful

Lord God, may we be grateful for our lot, and compassionate toward all those who are suffering every kind of distress at this difficult time.

May we hold back nothing, and hasten to be the ministers of prayer and mercy, like the disciples of Him who went about doing good in times of need. Amen

Prayer for Guidance and Help

Dear Lord, I am calling upon you today for your divine guidance and help. I am in crisis and need a supporting hand to keep me on the right and just path.

My heart is troubled but I will strive to keep it set on you, as your infinite wisdom will show me the right way to a just and right resolution. Thank you for hearing my prayer and for staying by my side.

Amen!

For Unfailing Strength

Do not look forward to what may happen tomorrow; the same everlasting Father who cares for you today will take care of you tomorrow and every day. Either He will shield you from suffering, or He will give you unfailing strength to bear it.

Be at peace, then. Put aside all anxious thoughts and imaginations, and say continually: “The Lord is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in Him and I am helped. He is not only with me but in me, and I in Him.

Scripture For Strength and Courage

Lets go straight to the source, and read bible verses about strength in trying times.

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Praying the Promises of God – Healing, provision, protection, salvation, and His unfailing love. Gods Promises prayer

Praying the Promises of God

The challenges of life can be overwhelming and we often don’t know the way out. In the face of heartbreak and disappointment, what do we do?

We need to look up beyond our situation onto the One from whom our help comes. We need to search the Scriptures, and find promises that relate to our situation and start praying them, trusting God to bring them to pass in our lives. We need to learn how to pray God’s promises.

In order to see fulfillment of the promises of God, we need to first come to terms with the fact that these promises are available specifically to us! He wants to fulfill His promises in our lives. But that doesn’t mean we don’t have a part to play in their fulfillment: we need to believe His promises and confess them.

“For no matter how many promises God has made, they are ‘Yes’ in Christ. And so through him the ‘Amen’ is spoken by us to the glory of God” (2 Corinthians 1:20).

There are many examples in Scripture of how God made — and fulfilled — His promises to His people. Here are just a few.

Abraham
God promised to give Abraham a son through his wife Sarah, even though both of them had passed child-bearing age. It looked impossible, but Abraham chose to believe God; and when he was 100-years-old, his son Isaac was born!

Solomon
When Solomon became the king, he asked for wisdom. The Bible says that God gave Solomon a “breadth of understanding as measureless as the sand on the seashore.”

The Israelites
When they cried out to God to give them rest, He did. In fact, all of the promises God made to the Israelites through Moses were fulfilled.

David
God made a covenant with David to protect his family. And because of that promise, his house was spared from destruction.

Mary
The Lord sent the angel Gabriel to the virgin Mary to tell her that she would conceive and give birth to a son. Even though this was against the laws of nature, she chose to believe the word of the Lord, and it happened exactly like she was told!

The Bible tells us Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. If He made promises in the past and fulfilled them, then He will do the same today. He hasn’t changed.

Why should we rely on His promises?

  • He cannot lie: “…in the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time” (Titus 1:2).
  • He is faithful: “Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful” (Hebrews 10:23).
  • He is able to bring it to pass: “…being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised” (Romans 4:21).

What’s our part?

We need to believe and trust Him who has made the promise. It might take a while for God to fulfill His promise (and in fact He may choose to not to fulfill it until we get to heaven), so that means we have to persevere when things don’t happen as quickly as we would like. But that’s where patience comes in. It’s not just sitting around waiting, but actively holding onto the promises of God, declaring them by faith, regardless of the situation or challenge we are going through.

There are promises that cover whatever area of challenge you may currently be facing. Do you need healing? Wisdom? The ability to pay the bills? Whatever it is, you can pray one of God’s promises that relates to your issue, and hold onto it.

How to Pray God’s Promises

1. Search the Bible to find God’s promises and thank Him for each one of them
“At midnight I rise to give you thanks for your righteous laws” (Psalm 119:62).

Some of the promises you can believe God for are healing, provision, protection, salvation, and His unfailing love.

2. Meditate on them
“Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful” (Joshua 1:8).

To mediate means to think deeply and carefully about something for a period of time. Focus your mind on the promise that you are trusting God for, and think about how great a God you serve!

3. Personalize them
“The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law” (Deuteronomy 29:29).

Personalizing God’s promises simply means to make the promises yours. For example, if you are believing God for healing, use a verse like Isaiah 53:5 to shape your prayer: He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.”

4. Speak them daily in faith
“It is written: ‘I believed; therefore, I have spoken.’ Since we have that same spirit of faith, we also believe and therefore speak” (2 Corinthians 4:13).

Our words are like seeds. What we speak determines what we eventually see as harvest.

5. Exercise patience
You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. For in just a little while, he who is coming will come and will not delay. But my righteous one will live by faith. And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back. (Hebrews 10:36-39).

Why do we need to have patience? Because some these promises might take some time before they manifest. There can be various reasons why, either known or unknown. God may choose to keep His promise in heaven rather than here on earth.

Sample Prayer Requests for Conversational Prayer

Here are 15 topics you may wish to include in your prayer time. These are suggestions, and we encourage you to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit as you seek God together.

    1. That God would lead and direct your prayer time.
    1. That you would be able to experience His presence during your prayer time.
    1. That God would anoint your life for His purposes.
    1. That His presence would move greatly in your church services and touch lives.
    1. That He would protect and direct your children’s (and grandchildren’s) lives.
    1. That there would be unity in the church (yours and the church at large). “Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace” (Ephesians 4:3).
    1. That unsaved loved ones and friends would come to know the Lord, that their eyes would be opened to see the truth. “Immediately, something like scales fell from Saul’s eyes, and he could see again. He got up and was baptized” (Acts 9:18).
    1. That He would give you a heart for His ways and discernment to see His direction. “In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths” (Proverbs 3:6).
    1. That He would be your strength and your wisdom. “The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song” (Psalm 28:7).
    1. That He would give you opportunities to share His Gospel with others.
    1. That He would show you where you should be ministering in your local church.
    1. That He would allow you to be a blessing to those around you. “And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” So God granted him what he requested” (1 Chronicles 4:10).
    1. That He would mould your character into His likeness. “For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren” (Romans 8:29).
    1. That your heart would break over the things that break His heart.
    1. That He would teach you how to pray and intercede for those situations that break His heart.

“One of the most subtle burdens God ever puts on us as saints is this burden of discernment concerning other souls. He reveals things in order that we may take the burden of these souls before Him and form the mind of Christ about them. It is not that we bring God into touch with our minds, but that we rouse ourselves until God is able to convey His mind to us about the one for whom we intercede.” Oswald Chambers – Prayer: A Holy Occupation.

The ACTS of Prayer-love the Lord because He hears my prayers and answers them. Adoration Confession Thanksgiving Prayers to Pray

The ACTS of Prayer

“I love the Lord because He hears my prayers and answers them. Because He bends down and listens, I will pray as long as I breathe!” Psalm 116:1-2 (TLB)

How do you get to know someone? When it comes down to it, it’s simple: you talk with and spend time with that person. Your relationship with God is no different. If you want to get to know God, what He loves and what His desires and passions are, you need to spend time with Him. Prayer is one of the ways you can do this.

If you would like to learn more about prayer, one of our mentors would love to talk with you about it — and pray with you, too!

Praying is simply having a conversation with God. It’s telling Him what’s going on in your life. It’s asking Him for your needs, yes, but it’s also a time when you can praise Him for who He is. He wants to be first in your life, and He wants you to worship Him in the good times and in the bad.

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” Philippians 4:6

God speaks through His Word, the Bible. So the more you pray and read His Word, the deeper your relationship with Him will be.

Praying can often be overwhelming, especially if you’re new to it or if you haven’t done it in a while. A simple guide to help shape your prayers can be remembered by the word ACTS.

Adoration

This means to worship God for who He is rather than for what He does. In adoration you verbalize your worship, praise, honor, and exaltation of God. Many of the Psalms help to focus on the attributes of God, such as His loving kindness, His mercy, His majesty and others. Adoration is expressing your love for Him through your words.

Confession

As you begin your prayer with a worshipful adoration of God, the Holy Spirit will often reveal any sin in your life that needs to be confessed. To confess means to “agree with.” In other words, you agree with God concerning your sin — that it is, in fact, sin. You also agree with God that the blood of Jesus Christ has paid for that sin. This leads you to ask Him for His forgiveness, and thank Him that He has made you clean.

Thanksgiving

Giving thanks expresses faith, and faith pleases God. In saying, “Thank You,” you are expressing your gratefulness and appreciation for what God does. Thanksgiving is also saying, “God, I trust You.” It is the opposite of whining and becoming bitter when things don’t work out the way you want them to.

Supplication

Supplication means asking God for your needs and desires. He is the Creator of the universe, and He wants you to ask Him what’s on your heart, however minor it might seem. Anything that concerns you concerns God. That includes difficult areas in your personal life, or the needs of others.

When you pray, get ready for God to speak. Listen to Him as the Holy Spirit speaks to you through the Bible, or even in the quiet stillness of your heart. A clear answer might not come right away or in the way you’d expect, but He is listening, and He does answer. The more you pray and spend time with Him in His Word, the more you will get to know who He is.

“Ask and you will receive, that your joy may be made full.” John 16:24

Spiritual Warfare Prayer | Call Down Fire & Brimstone on the enemy! Prayer | Evacuate Evil/Demonic Deposits/Tares – Deliverance

Prayer | Evacuate Evil/Demonic Deposits/Tares – Deliverance

Matt 13:15 – BUT while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares amongs the wheat and went his way. But when the grain has sprouted and produces a crop, then the tares appeared.

Many people experience hardship and near success syndrome issues after they go to bed and wake up the next morning. This is because while they slept, the enemy came and sowed tares, demonic deposits into their lives, destiny, their home, their day, their body and their soul. Some people begin to experience the manifestation of these demonic deposits almost right away while others go unnoticed.

These deposits could be done by giving the person demonic food to eat or drinking dirty water in their team state. They can also do this by having sexual intercourse with the person, injecting the person with a syringe or just speaking evil words over them in dream state.

The manifestation of such deposits come come in the form of anger, rage, confusion, stagnation, aborted projects, bad habits, fear and doubt, pain in the body, depression and many other manifestation s that people experience. The strategy behind this is simple: the enemy does not want you to make any progress so when he sees something good coming your way, be it a job interview, marriage, business breakthrough, etc; he sends his agents to deposits something to hinder that from happening.  Even these diseases that you see people experience where they body cannot retain water, this is not of God and must be addressed as such.

BUT the word of God declares that every tree which my Father has not planted shall be uprooted – Matt 15:13. Thus whether those deposits have grown into a tree or they have just been deposited, they shall be evacuated today in the mighty name of Jesus!

PRAYER WORDS

Praise and thank God for deliverance….

DRINKING IRTY/DEMONIC WATERS IN DREAM STATE
Mark 16:18 – They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Therefore, every dirty demonic water that I may have drank or was given in my dream, knowingly or unknowing has no power over me, I reverse its effect and potency in the mighty name of Jesus.

Exodus 14:21- And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.

Therefore I stretch forth my hand over my stomach and body and I command any illegal, unhealthy, unfruitful water in this body or stomach to dry up in the mighty name of Jesus

Job 12:15 – Behold, he withholdeth the waters, and they dry up: also he sendeth them out, and they overturn the earth.

Ezekiel 30:12 – And I will make the rivers dry…

Now Father, withheld the waters and cause them to dry up, send them out of my system, my body, my brain, my stomach and let the powers behind them be overturned in the mighty name of Jesus!

ISAIAH 50:38 – A drought is upon her waters; and they shall be dried up: for it isthe land of graven images, and they are mad upon their idols.

ISAIAH 44:27 – That saith to the deep, Be dry, and I will dry up thy rivers:

Father let the waters dry up in the mighty name of Jesus!

Revelations 16:12- And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.

-Let my helpers begin to locate me now. Let the path be made clear now in the mighty name of Jesus. Let every stagnation, near success syndrome be terminated in the mighty name of Jesus.

FOOD / EATING IN THE DREAM
Luke 10:19 – “nothing shall by any means hurt me”, therefore every plan of the devil to fill my stomach with demonic food and hinder my light from shinning you are hereby scattered in the mighty name of Jesus.

INJECTIONS
I break any demonic syringes used by the devil and his cohorts to inject poison int my system in the mighty name of Jesus.

EVIL WORDS/CURSES
Every evil word and curses released over my life is hereby reverted, reversed and canceled, it shall not stand. Whoever shall rise up in Judgement against me is hereby condemned in the mighty name of Jesus. They shall speak the word but it shall not stand, it falls to the ground & whoever shall gather against me is falling even now in the mighty name of Jesus.

SPIRITUAL SPOUSES DEPOSTS
Isaiah 19:15 – Neither shall there be any work for Egypt, which the head or tail, branch or rush, may do.

ISAIAH 52:1 – Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.

-EZEKIEL 44:2 – Then said the LORD unto me; This gate shall be shut, it shall not be opened, and no man shall enter in by it; because the LORD, the God of Israel, hath entered in by it, therefore it shall be shut.

I invoke the blood of Jesus to close any and every door that has been opened to the devil and his cohorts and sever any silver cords or ties between me and the devil.

I am married to God – therefore I cannot be joined with any spiritual spouses in any way, shape or form. I am joined one spirit with God (1 Corinthians 6:17), I have been grafted into grafted into Christ and I bear His fruits therefore anything that is not of Him is not permitted to manifest in me or through me. The fruits of the evil one are destroyed, and cast away from me. Any tree which my Father has not planted is hereby uprooted in the mighty name of Jesus!

KNOWN OR UNKNOWN DEPOSITS
Now, I speak to every known and unknown deposits, debris, poison of the evil one to be gathered together in one place and consumed by the fire of God in the mighty name of Jesus.

Let the fire of God arrest and completely consume any power that shall gain entrance into my dreams. Father expose the plans of the wicked one in Jesus mighty name! I decree and declare my dreams and visions a no trespass zone. I exercise authority over all over of the devil in my dream state in Jesus mighty name.

I command the effect of these deposits to be consumed by fire.

Use the three witnesses to flush out any demonic deposits in your body in the mighty name of Jesus.

Prayer | Rebuke The Waters/Seas & Release Your Virtues – Agapekind

Prayer | Rebuke The Waters/Seas & Release Your Virtues – Agapekind

************************************************************

PRAYER WORDS
O Lord, break the heads of the dragons in the waters (Psalm 74:13).

Slay the dragon that is in the sea (Psalm 27:1).

At thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away. – Psalm 104:7

Lord, You rule the sea and the waters by Your strength.
Do not let any evil waters overflow my life.
Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered at thy rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils. – Psalm 18:15
Let not the proud waters go over my soul (Psalm 124:5).

Let the waters of the deep be dried up, and destroy every spirit of leviathan (Job 41:31; Isaiah 44:27).
In the name of Jesus, I dry up your rivers, your seas, and your springs (Isaiah 19:5).
I call for a drought upon leviathan’s waters (Jeremiah 50:38; Jeremiah 51:36).

I invoke the blood of Jesus in the seas and oceans that hold our virtues,
Every water that tries to drown us, I command you to dry up in the name of Jesus!
Every water in our belly, eyes, body, head dry up by fire!

Matthew 14:27, Micah 7:19, Job 26:10, proverbs 20:5, Genesis 1:26, we must remember that The Almighty has given us dominion over the spirits of the sea, the witchcraft cast in the air, and the spirits of the land. The waves may rise against us but we will walk above them with sureness in Christ, only fear of the enemy gives the illusion that we must tread water.

A Prayer for Peace – Prayer for strenght – Impacting prayers – Preayers to Pray daily

Prayer for strenght – Impacting prayers – Preayers to Pray daily

Have you ever needed supernatural strength to face a situation head-on, but not known what to pray? God is waiting and wants to offer us strength in time of need. Do not be afraid to pray and ask God for His strength to fall upon you! When you are weak, weary or unready to stand, and unsure of what to ask, pray along with these words!

Lord, I’m weary. My energy is sagging, and my motivation is lagging. And I am so in need of you. I need your strength and your fresh touch to get back on track again. Your Word says the joy of the Lord is my strength. If that’s true, then I need your joy to replace all the bone-tired parts of my mind, body, and soul.

The pressures of life sometimes push me into a corner, rendering me helpless to move forward. A hundred voices call my name, and I feel paralyzed at times to answer, not knowing where to turn. Lord, help me not to quit, to keep running the race faithfully, and to find strength in that safe, secret place of yours, under the shadow of the Almighty.

I need your strength to say no when I’m tempted to surrender to harmful things, or when selfishness clings to my clothes and won’t let go. I need your strength to say yes, when cowardice and fear nudge me to deny the convictions of my heart. I need your strength to reach out in love to those both close to me and all around me. When don’t I need your strength, God?

In Jesus’s powerful name before which every knee shall bow, Amen!

Prayer in Apologetics

One of the dangers of the apologist is falling into the trap of relying on his own intellectual abilities to try to wrestle someone into the kingdom of God.  I am sad to say that I have been guilty of this.

Pride hides itself in the heart, so it cannot be seen.  When we find ourselves relying on our knowledge instead of God’s word mercy and grace, then we have fallen into that trap.  It is not reason that converts but God’s Spirit.  It is not logic that draws us to God but Jesus (John 12:32).  It is not evidence that convicts a person of his sins but the Holy Spirit (John 16:8).  That is why we need to rely on God and trust that He will use our defense of the truth for His glory and their benefit.

To ignore prayer in apologetics is to be prideful.  It is the same as saying we don’t need God.  But we do.  We need to pray for those who are lost, pray for their minds to be opened, pray that God’s word will ring true to them, pray that our witness will be strong, and pray that the evil one will not have a foot-hold with them or with us.  We are fighting a spiritual battle and need spiritual tools.  Prayer is perhaps the most important of them all.

It is the Lord who opens the heart and mind – not you (Acts 16:14). Ask God for guidance (John 14:14). Ask for blessing in your understanding (James 1:5) and your speech (Col. 4:6). Ask the Lord to also open their understanding to God’s word (Luke 24:45).  This is what He does.

Prayer brings humility to the one praying.  It admits dependence on God.  If we are humble and depend on God, we are more likely to hear His voice.  Prayer means that you are seeking divine intervention.  It works power to your words.  It changes your heart.  It moves you closer to God.

Being a great apologist is not a badge of honor to be worn by the Christian as a demonstration of his intellectual abilities.  Rather, it is a response to the calling of God upon all Christians (1 Pet. 3:15) that is to be undertaken with love and humility: love of people and humility before God.

Never let your study and practice of apologetics replace the power – received by faith – in prayer before the Holy Creator.  Ask God to empower your words and open the hearts of those with whom you speak . . . and then study and witness to the best of your abilities.

Praying the Promises of God

The challenges of life can be overwhelming and we often don’t know the way out. In the face of heartbreak and disappointment, what do we do?We need to look up beyond our situation onto the One from whom our help comes.

Prayers You Can Pray!

Like in any relationship, it can be a little hard at first to know what to say. Praying is no different! It might start off a bit rocky, but the more you talk to God, the more natural it will feel. Pretty soon praying will become a regular part of your life.

No matter what situation you’re in, God wants to hear from you. He wants to lead and guide you, give you wisdom, provide for you, and protect you. Though He doesn’t always answer in the way we would like, He does always answer.

Here are a few prayers for when you’re at a loss for words. So go ahead, and start the conversation!

When you want to commit your life to God for the first time:

Lord Jesus, I want to know You personally. Thank You for dying on the cross for me. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be. Amen.

When you want Him to be the center of your life:

Dear Jesus, I want you in the center of my life and I commit, through your power, to serve and obey you anytime, anywhere, at any cost, to do anything. Amen.

If you just prayed one of these prayers, we’d love for you to talk to us.

When you renew your commitment to God:

Father, into Your hands I commit my spirit. For it is Your business, not mine. You will know every shade of my suffering; You will care for me with Your perfect Fatherhood. (George MacDonald)

When you first wake up:

Dear Lord, I give You my hands to do Your work, my feet to go Your way, my eyes to see as You see, my tongue to speak Your words, my mind that You may think in me, my spirit that You may pray in me. Above all, I give You my heart so that You may love through me. Amen.

When you are scared:

Father God, I am feeling fearful today. Life seems uncertain and out of control. I know that the Bible says, “Perfect love casts out fear.” You alone are perfect love; would You please remove this fear I feel and replace it with confidence in You? I trust that You will take care of me — moment by moment, day by day. In Jesus’ name, amen.

When you want to be in God’s will:

Lord Jesus, keep me in Your will. Don’t let me go mad by poking about outside it. (Corrie Ten Boom)

When you need wisdom and direction:

Father God, there are so many decisions to make, and I don’t know what to do. You said if we lack wisdom, all we need to do ask. So I humbly ask that You would pour wisdom into my mind today, and may the right choices be clear as I discern Your will. Thank You!

When you are sick:

Father, I am feeling lousy today. I ache all over and feel very weak. You said that Your grace is sufficient for me. Please strengthen me and give me joy, no matter how I feel physically. Amen

For your children and/or grandchildren:

Lord, I am so glad that You know each of our children and grandchildren by name. I forget about that, sometimes. Thank You for sending Your angels to surround each one of them and for protecting them today. Father, please turn their minds and hearts toward You. Help them to want to please You in everything they think, say, and do. Thank You!

When you are moving:

Lord, I have such mixed feelings about moving. There are so many memories here in this house, but I know it’s time to go. Thank You that despite all the changes going on in my life right now, You never change. You are and always will be a constant in my life. Help me to remember that when I am packing and unpacking. Amen.

When you want to be reflecting Christ:

Lord, make my life a window for Your light to shine through, and a mirror to reflect Your love to all I meet. Amen.

When you’re in conflict:

Dear God, when Your son Jesus died and rose from the dead, He broke down walls of hostility. Father, You know the conflict I am having right now. I don’t know how to resolve it. Thank You that You are my Savior. Please save and restore this relationship. Amen

For others:

Watch, O Lord, with those who wake, or watch, or weep tonight, and give Your angels charge over those who sleep. Tend Your sick ones, O Lord Christ. Rest Your weary ones. Bless Your dying ones. Soothe Your suffering ones. Pity Your afflicted ones. Shield Your joyous ones. And all for Your love’s sake. Amen. (Prayed by Father Timothy Kavanagh)

For thanksgiving:

For health and strength and daily food, we praise Your name, O God. Amen.

When you need more faith:

Teach me to treat all that comes to me with peace of soul and with firm conviction that Your will govern all. Amen. (Prayed by Elisabeth Elliot)

When your marriage seems to be falling apart:

Dear God, our marriage is really shaky right now. I really don’t want it to break-up. Show me ways I could show (name) I love and care for her/him. You are merciful. Please show Your mercy by helping us love each other more. Thank You! Amen.

For protection:

Father God, I need Your protection. My family needs protection. Help me to love and respect You more. Amen.

For being an instrument for God:

Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace; where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy.

The ACTS of Prayer – Prayers to Pray daily

Practicing Patience When God Has You Waiting

Some days, it is a lot harder to be patient. When we’re bringing our concerns to the Lord again and again, we grow tired of waiting. It soon begins to feel like our prayers are falling on deaf ears. Often our desire is to take control and just “do the best we can;” it is our fleshly reaction to the silence. We know Galatians 5 lists patience as a fruit of the Holy Spirit so we confess our desire to rule our own lives. We ask the Spirit to fill us, empowering and directing us even as we continue to wait on the Lord.

This doesn’t mean circumstances change. Your only child remains sick in the hospital, the thread your marriage hangs on continues to splinter, and the hope you’ve held on to for years fades with increasing speed. Having prayed fervently about whatever issue you are facing too many times to count, it’s easy to feel your bank of patience depleting once again. On these days, let these reminders on the nature of patience be an encouragement to you as you continue to wait.

You are not alone in the waiting. Talk to a mentor today.

“We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.” Romans 8:22- 25

Waiting is a common experience. All your brothers and sisters in faith, as well as all of creation know what it is like to wait on the Lord. Consider those who have waited before you: Job, David, a myriad of prophets. There is plenty of encouragement in the Bible concerning a need for patience and those who have excelled in it. James 5:7, Colossians 1:10-12, Psalm 40:1 and Revelation 14:12 are just a few examples of the myriad of passages about the topic.

The New Bible Dictionary defines patience as “God-given restraint in the face of opposition or oppression.” Patience is only needed when there is a reason to not wait. It is only necessary in the face of opposition. This is why seeking patience is in many senses a battle. The promise we can lean on here is that patience is God-given restraint. The Lord is the one who provides us with spiritual armor to go into battle. We often think of patience as mere endurance, but such logic is faulty. We are not exercising restraint on our own strength. In truth, our only responsibility is to trust that God will provide the strength to hold on, and then act accordingly to our faith in that promise.

How is this strength given to us?

We receive this strength by being filled with the Spirit. As Christians, we know that the ultimate source of patience lives within us. Our role is to trust that the Holy Spirit does live within us, and ask Him for strength to persevere in whatever situation we find ourselves in. This is a provision we can claim by faith as taught us in Romans 5:1-5.

Patience as listed in Galatians 5 is often called longsuffering. The original Greek word is makrothumio, meaning “long temper.” We are to keep a long and slow temper towards God, others and ourselves. This spiritual posture calls for grace. It is grace that compels us to trust God, grace that we can extend to others when they hurt us, and grace to forgive ourselves when we stumble and fall.

The experience of waiting on God reminds us that our reality as Christians is not within our apparent circumstances, but rather in the truth of Christ’s love and life in us. This gives us hope, as Romans 8:28 assures us that “we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” It is not in our abilities to know the time or way in which God will work things out. Ecclesiastes 3:11 and Isaiah 55:8-9 are great reminders that these rest solely in the domain of God’s knowledge. Our role here is to trust the promise of Philippians 1:6 and wait with hope as God’s brings about to completion the good work He began in each of our lives.

What is our role in the battle?

Consider again the definition of patience as God-given restraint. God allows us to access divine restraint, but it is our choice to accept it and act in willful obedience. Adam and Eve were given complete free will. They were gifted many provisions in the garden so they wouldn’t need to partake in the fruit that was forbidden. However, they chose to not exercise restraint and instead disobeyed God’s command. When we use God-given restraint to wait on His will and timing, we renounce their fallen actions and step out in obedience towards God.

There is purpose in the process. Take a look at Hebrews 12:2. Waiting on God forces us to look to Him. It casts our eyes rightly to Christ as the source of our faith and the assurance of our salvation. It reminds us that Christ’s death and life is the reason we can be filled with and empowered by the Holy Spirit. Trials cause us to persevere by deepening our knowledge of God and relying on him more intentionally. As James 1:2-4 tells us it is here that a mature and complete faith is grown.

Standing patiently when we wait on the Lord does not mean being stuck at a standstill. Consider Ephesians 6 which instructs us to “put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then.

To hold ground by remaining obedient to the Lord while waiting is not passive. Note that the word stand is repeated three times. Patience is an act of the will to claim ground for the Kingdom of God, and is rewarded richly by Him. Revelation 3:10-11 tells us of God’s care for those who persevere through the battle.

Whether we feel we lack patience to wait on God, or to continue to love those that may be hard to love, we do in actuality have access to all the patience we need. We can trust God to give us the strength to bear our circumstances and instead use the time of waiting to grow in intimacy with the Lord.

7 Morning Prayers to Start Your Day

The morning is the perfect time to pray.  It gets you focused on God and helps you meditate on those you love and yourself, as well.  There are many great ways to pray in the morning.  Here are 7 of them.

Being Thankful

Dear Lord, thank you so much for another day of life on Earth.  Thank you for another beautiful sunrise to enjoy.  Thank you for the wonderful sounds of nature, from the cool breeze brushing through the trees to the birds singing melodies.  You are a wonderful God, full of grace and mercy.  I praise you for allowing me another day to spend with my family.  I love you Father!  Amen.

“The flowers appear on the earth, the time of singing has come,
and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land.”
Song of Solomon 2:12

Strength

Dear Lord, I pray that you would give me strength to be strong for You in the world today.  Lord, you know the struggles that I will face today.  Be with me as I go through them.  Carry me if I am too weak to move.  If I stumble in them, forgive me Father.  When I succeed in them, I will praise You!  You are worthy of all praise and honor.  Amen.

“My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”
Psalm 73:26

Family

The morning is the perfect time to pray

Dear Gracious Father, I praise You for my family.  Thank you for my spouse.  Even in his/her weaknesses, I love him/her unconditionally.  Thank you for my children. Every time I hear the pitter-patter of their feet across the house I smile.  Joy overwhelms me Father!  Be with my family today as they go their separate ways.  Bring us all back home safely to each other I pray.  Amen.

“Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house;
your children will be like olive shoots around your table.”

Psalm 128:3

Career

Dear God, I thank you for my job.  You have provided me with a steady income and I thank you.  I pray that you watch over me today at work and I pray that there are no accidents, so that everyone can go back to their homes.  I thank you that my job has provided an income to support me and my family.  I thank you for the provisions that you have given to me, my house, car and food.  I pray for safe travels to and from work and I pray that you will use me as you see fit today for Your Glory.  Amen.

“Commit your work to the Lord,
and your plans will be established.”
Proverbs 16:3

Men and Women Overseas

Dear Merciful Father, I pray that you would keep your hand on our men and women defending our country so that we can be free.  Be with our soldiers as they go onto their assignments.  Bring them back to base safely.  I praise you for our brave men and women!  I thank you for our brave men and women!  I also pray that you give them the skills that they need in every moment, so that they can come back home safely to their families.

“Blessed be the Lord, my rock, who trains my hands for war,
and my fingers for battle.”
Psalm 144:1

Opportunities

Dear Lord, I pray today that I will yield my spirit completely to You, that You may use me as You please.  I pray that You will provide me opportunities to show people how much You mean to me.  Give me discretion to know what to say and how to say it.  Make me bold enough, that I may proclaim salvation cheerfully and joyfully.  I pray that the seeds You allow me to plant will grow and mature.  I pray that You, Father, will water the seeds that You allow me to plant today.  I am forever grateful for the cross; may I proclaim it in a contagious way today.  Amen.

“Do not be anxious about how you should defend yourself
or what you should say,
for the Holy Spirit will teach you
in that very hour what you ought to say.”

Luke 12:11b-12

Contentment

Dear Glorious Father, I pray that I will stay focused on you today.  I pray that You will constantly remind me to be content in all of my circumstances.  I pray that You will fill me up that I may be joyful all day, even if stress creeps in.  I know that through my contentment, You will be glorified.  I want to honor You, Father, in all that I do.  I praise Your Holy Name!  Amen

“Not that I am speaking of being in need,
for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content.
I know how to be brought low,
and I know how to abound.
In any and every circumstance,
I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger,
abundance and need.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Philippians 4:11-13

Conclusion

You can have such wonderful encounters with God when you approach His throne in the morning.  I encourage you to start praying when you wake up, if you aren’t already doing so.  When you wake with God you take Him with you too.  God bless you as you live a life worthy of the calling.

Prayers for Peace and Happiness

Here are prayers that will bless you today!

Prayers for Peace and Happiness

You may be feeling discouraged or empty today. Those around you may offer little inspiration and answers. Here are prayers to strengthen, bring hope, and help you open up communication with God.

Refresh and Gladden My Spirit

“O God! Refresh and gladden my spirit. Purify my heart. Illumine my powers. I lay all my affairs in Thy hand. Thou art my Guide and my Refuge. I will no longer be sorrowful and grieved; I will be a happy and joyful being. O God! I will no longer be full of anxiety, nor will I let trouble harass me. I will not dwell on the unpleasant things of life. O God! Thou art more friend to me than I am to myself. I dedicate myself to Thee, O Lord.”

Lead Me to Peace

“Lead me from death to life, from falsehood to truth. Lead me from despair to hope, from fear to trust. Lead me from hate to love, from war to peace. Let peace fill my heart, my world, my universe.

Amen.”

Prayer When Words Won’t Come

“O My Father, I have moments of deep unrest — moments when I know not what to ask by reason of the very excess of my wants. I have in these hours no words for Thee, no conscious prayers for Thee. My cry seems purely worldly; I want only the wings of a dove that I may flee away. Yet all the time Thou has accepted my unrest as a prayer. Thou has interpreted its cry for a dove’s wings as a cry for Thee, Thou has received the nameless longings of my heart as the intercessions of Thy Spirit. They are not yet the intercessions of my spirit; I know not what to ask. But Thou knowest what I ask, O my God. Thou knowest the name of that need which lies beneath my speechless groan. Thou knowest that, because I am made in Thine image, I can find rest only in what gives rest to Thee; therefore Thou hast counted my unrest unto me for righteousness, and has called my groaning Thy Spirit’s prayer.

Amen.”

Prayer for Anxious People

“Father, I pray for (name one or more) and others in my circle of family and friends who are carrying heavy loads… Your Word says an anxious heart weighs a person down, and this is how I think they must feel—as if they’re carrying heavy loads, more than they can bear. When they feel upset and beside themselves, calm them down and comfort them with the assurance of Your love. Help them not be overwhelmed by anxious thoughts. (Proverbs 12:25a; Psalm 94:19) Our hearts are not supposed to be troubled; but that’s their struggle—help them trust

You and the Lord Jesus, as I know they must. Help them understand that You are the One who makes a way when things seem impossible; nothing is too hard for You! (John 14:27; Isaiah 43:19; Jeremiah 32:17; Luke 1:37) Help them be faithful to You and to the way You want them to live, for You guard the lives of those who are faithful; You protect them and never turn away from them. Help them know You as their fortress, as the rock in whom they take refuge, as One who is good, whose love endures forever, whose faithfulness continues through all generations. (Psalm 97:10; Proverbs 2:8; Psalm 37:28; 94:22; 100:5)

In Jesus’ name, amen.”

Prayer of Hope

“O Lord, in Whom is our hope, remove far from us, we pray Thee, empty hopes and presumptuous confidence. Make our hearts so right with Thy most holy and loving heart, that hoping in Thee we may do good; until that day when faith and hope shall be abolished by sight and possession, and love shall be all in all.

Amen.”

Financial blessing and the breaking of poverty’s stronghold over your life

“Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus. I ask You to forgive me for all my sins and the sins of my forefathers. Let all transgressions and iniquities be cleansed by the blood of Jesus

“Right now, I break every spirit of poverty on my life in the name of Jesus. No devourer will destroy the fruit of my labor. I break every curse of failure and lack in the name of Jesus

“I repent for any breaking of covenant with Your tithe and offerings, LORD. I ask and receive forgiveness for disobedience and touching anything that is holy to You in the name of Jesus.

“Let the rod of iron fall on any strange money that has passed through me in the name of Jesus.

“I decree and declare, I am blessed of God!

“I break myself loose from the bondage of stagnancy and lack in the mighty name of Jesus! I am created to be fruitful and to multiply, to fill the earth and subdue it. I have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.

“Every curse of poverty, barrenness, unproductiveness, and ineffectiveness is broken off me in the name of Jesus! I am fruitful! The blessing of the LORD overtakes me!

Amen!”

Please make it a point to visit these parts of scripture and reference them daily. Even commit them to memory if possible.

Psalm 34:9 — If you respect the LORD, you will lack nothing
Proverbs 3:9-10 — If you honor the LORD with your possessions and with the first fruits of all your increase; then you will have plenty and have overflow
Matthew 6:33 — If you first seek the LORD and His righteousness, then all things you need and desire will be added unto you
Galatians 3:14 — Jesus has redeemed you and opened the door so that the blessing of Abraham can come to you. By faith, you receive the promise.

Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of what God is doing in your life.

The New World Order Prophecy

“Remember, where you have a concentration of power in a few hands, all too frequently, men with the mentality of gangsters gain control. History has proven that…power tends to corrupt; absolute power corrupts absolutely.” -British historian, Sir John Dalberg-Acton, 1887

“What is at stake is more than one small country, it is a big idea – a New World Order, where diverse nations are drawn together in a common cause, to achieve the universal aspirations of mankind; peace and security, freedom, and the rule of law… A world in which there is the very real prospect of a new world order.” –President George H. W. Bush, January 29, 1991

The September 17, 1990, issue of Time magazine said that “the Bush administration would like to make the United Nations a cornerstone of its plans to construct a New World Order.” Jeanne Kirkpatrick, former U.S. Ambassador to the UN, said that one of the purposes for the Desert Storm operation, was to show to the world how a “reinvigorated United Nations could serve as a global policeman in the New World Order.”

The prophesied one-world government is being formed on earth at this very time. The Bible prophesies that the Antichrist will ultimately reign over this world government for three-and-one-half years just prior to the Second Coming of Jesus to establish His own world government.

Satanically Empowered Control

Control of the coming endtime government will be consolidated into the totalitarian hands of the Antichrist. The dragon, which is the devil, gives this world governmental system its seat, power, and great authority (Revelation 13:2). We will all feel the oppression of this world government structure because it is satanically inspired, and it is forming right now.

Revelation 13:7 states that power will be given to the Antichrist over “all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.” Verse 3 says, “And all the world wondered after the beast.” Daniel 7:23 tells of a world governmental system ruled by the Antichrist, “The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.” The prophecy then states that this world government will rule the world until the Second Coming.

The New World Order Prophecy

After World War II, The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) was formed as a hedge against the advance of communistic Warsaw powers led by the USSR. When Mikhail Gorbachev became the leader of the Soviet Union, he allowed the fall of the Berlin Wall, and ultimately, of the Iron Curtain. World leaders declared that the Cold War was over, and they proclaimed the birth of a New World Order.

When Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait in 1990, President George H. W. Bush put together a UN coalition of 29 nations to fight against Saddam. It was at this time that Bush Sr. made his famous statement that we really do have a chance at the birth of a “New World Order.” This is how he described the Gulf War: “This is not the people of Iraq against the United States. This is Saddam against the world.”

Globalization

After the Berlin Wall fell in 1989, we began hearing new terms like World Community and International Community. David Rockefeller said that a global crisis would have to occur before the world would be willing to accept a New World Order. When the world’s economy began a dramatic downward plunge in 2008, world leaders again proclaimed the need for a New World Order with global economic structures.

The word “globalization” means exactly what it says. It is the process of transitioning the world into a global government. The Commission for Global Governance, created by the United Nations, released a report: Our Global Neighborhood, which affirms a world court, a global tax, and global police force. The U.S. State Department Publication 7277 sets forth a one world police force under the United Nations. When we hear about international law, it is referring to the laws of the international government. When we hear about the World Court, it is referring to the court system that has been created to enforce the laws of the world governmental system. The World Bank, the World Trade Organization, the World Health Organization—all of these powerful world institutions are exactly what they say they are. They are all components of the one-world government, the world government prophesied for the endtime 2,000 years ago.
