Financial Prayer – Financial Responsibility – On God’s Provision

roverbs 4 instructs us that God’s Word is life—life to our bodies, life to our spirit, life to our relationships and life to our finances. As believers, we’re to read it, memorize it and think about it daily. Every answer to every challenge we face can be found within its pages. Here are 18 Bible verses that can change your finances. As you read, memorize and think about them, let them change the way you handle your finances!

On Debt

  • Proverbs 22:7: Just as the rich rule the poor, so the borrower is servant to the lender.
  • Romans 13:8: Owe nothing to anyone—except for your obligation to love one another. If you love your neighbor, you will fulfill the requirements of God’s law.

On Financial Responsibility

  • 1 Timothy 5:8: But those who won’t care for their relatives, especially those in their own household, have denied the true faith. Such people are worse than unbelievers.
  • Luke 16:11: And if you are untrustworthy about worldly wealth, who will trust you with the true riches of heaven?
  • Proverbs 13:22: Good people leave an inheritance to their grandchildren, but the sinner’s wealth passes to the godly.
  • Proverbs 21:20: The wise have wealth and luxury, but fools spend whatever they get.

On Giving

  • Luke 6:38: Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.
  • Proverbs 3:9-10: Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine.
  • Malachi 3:8-10: “Should people cheat God? Yet you have cheated me! “But you ask, ‘What do you mean? When did we ever cheat you?’ “You have cheated me of the tithes and offerings due to me. You are under a curse, for your whole nation has been cheating me. Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!”
  • Deuteronomy 16:17: All must give as they are able, according to the blessings given to them by the Lord your God.
  • Luke 21:1-4: While Jesus was in the Temple, he watched the rich people dropping their gifts in the collection box. Then a poor widow came by and dropped in two small coins. “I tell you the truth,” Jesus said, “this poor widow has given more than all the rest of them. For they have given a tiny part of their surplus, but she, poor as she is, has given everything she has.”

On Greed

  • 1 Timothy 6:10-11: For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows.  But you, Timothy, are a man of God; so run from all these evil things. Pursue righteousness and a godly life, along with faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.
  • Hebrews 13:5: Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.”
  • Luke 12:15: Then he said, “Beware! Guard against every kind of greed. Life is not measured by how much you own.”

On God’s Provision

  • Philippians 4:19: And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.
  • Proverbs 10:22: The blessing of the Lord makes a person rich, and he adds no sorrow with it.
  • 2 Corinthians 9:8: And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.
  • Jeremiah 17:7-8: But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit.

A Prayer for Finances – Powerful Prayer of Prosperity

Dear God Prayer of Finances - Financial Prayer2

Heavenly Father, I have chosen Jesus as The LORD of my life and I seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, believing that the material things I need will be supplied. I choose for my character and moral disposition to be free from the love of money, greed, lust and craving for earthly possessions. I am satisfied with my present circumstances and with what I have, being confident because You have promised You will not in any way fail me, nor leave me without support. I am confident in Your faithfulness, that You will never leave me nor forsake me, nor leave me helpless.

I take comfort and am encouraged. I boldly say that The LORD is my helper and I will not be seized with alarm. I will not fear, dread or be terrified.

I believe, Father, that You wish above all things that I prosper and be in health even as my soul prospers. I will meditate in Your WORD day and night, not letting it depart from my mouth, keeping it in the midst of my heart, observing to do all that is written therein. I believe then I shall make my way prosperous and have good success. You have promised that as a doer of The WORD I will be blessed in all my deeds. I am assured that You will withhold no good thing from me as I walk uprightly. The uncompromising are never forsaken. I make it my ambition to live quietly and peacefully. I will mind my own affairs, working with my hands so that I may bear myself becomingly, correctly and honorably, and command the respect of the outside world, being self-supporting, dependent on no one and having need of nothing.

Knowing through Your WORD, Father, that You are The LORD my God who teaches me to profit and who leads me by the way I should go, I will put Your principles to work in my life regarding employment. I choose to apply myself to good deeds—to honest labor and honorable employment—so that I may be able to meet necessary demands whenever the occasion may require, and that I may not live an idle, uncultivated, unfruitful life, in Jesus’ Name.

I labor so that I may walk honestly toward those who are without. As I give, it is given to me again—good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over. I do not sow sparingly and grudgingly, but rather, I sow generously, blessing others. Therefore, I can expect to reap generously and with blessings.

For several years, Kenneth Copeland has been known for his teachings on miraculous things that happen when we pray through faith. He says believes in the God of Exodus 34:10, who said, “And he said, Behold, I make a covenant: before all thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which thou art shall see the work of the LORD: for it is a terrible thing that I will do with thee.” Brother Copeland says if we believe in faith, we should expect the personal presence of God, along with miraculous healings and miracles.

He also believes America is about to witness a great revival.  He recently said, “I am totally convinced that now is a time of the Holy Spirit outpouring like we’ve never seen. We’re in the midst of the greatest thing that has ever happened. This is the reason there is so much pressure to distort this nation. This nation is at the heart of it. I believe the U.S. will ride the crest of this wave of manifestation of the Holy Spirit all the way to, and including the rebirth of this nation to where it will be known again as the nation that preaches the gospel to the world.”

A LONG-LASTING LEGACY

Kenneth Copeland is known around the world for his legacy of Christian ministry.  Kenneth is an author, a speaker, a television minister, and is also a recording artist and a pilot. One of his biggest desires is to see people live successful lives through Christ.

More than forty-five years ago, the Lord told Kenneth Copeland to preach the uncompromised Word of God on every available voice, proclaiming the truth of God’s Word and His unconditional love. He founded Kenneth Copeland Ministries in 1967. In 1973, they began printing “Believer’s Voice of Victory,” a weekly magazine with Christian articles. In 1979, the couple began broadcasting  “Believers Voice of Victory” Television show.  Since then, Kenneth and his wife Gloria have established a ministry that serves in many facets, including a school of healing, prison ministry, conferences, books, audio and video teachings.

Over the years, Kenneth and his wife Gloria have delivered Bible-based teaching articles about faith, love, healing, prosperity, redemption, righteousness, the anointing and the principles of victorious Christian living.  KCM has gone around the globe just to bring the good news that Jesus Is Lord, no matter where you are.  It continues to be their privilege to preach the good news of Jesus Christ around the world on every available voice – from the daily and Sunday Believers’ Voice of Victory television broadcast, to Conventions and Victory Campaigns, to the Believers’ Voice of Victory magazine, to the Internet.  Today, the ministry has international offices in Colombia, Costa Rica, Canada, Europe, Australia, Africa, Asia, and the Ukraine. The ministry broadcasts on over 600 stations daily and is also available through pre-recorded Internet webcasts at www.kcm.org.

The mission of KCM and Eagle Mountain International Church is to teach Christians worldwide who they are in Christ Jesus and how to live a victorious life in their covenant rights and privileges.  They are called to lead people to the place where they operate proficiently; to build an army of mature believers, bringing them from milk to meat, from religion to reality.

Kenneth Copeland Ministries was birthed out of “love for the people and a commitment to bring people the Word,” states Kenneth Copeland. “Our lives are totally wrapped up in ministering to the people. When we say, ‘We’re here for you,’ we mean it to this point—everything we do, everything we preach, every broadcast we come on, everywhere we minister, everything we say and do is prayed, engineered, designed to minister to the people…. God called us to take His message of love and faith to the whole world. We care about you and we want to help you find the answers you need in God’s Word.”

Kenneth looks forward to many more years of ministry. He said, “People say, ‘Kenneth Copeland, when are you going to quit?’ I don’t have time to quit. Oh how Satan would like for me and Pat [Robertson] to quit. You have to press and take advantage of 2 Corinthians 10:5, the weapons of our warfare are mighty. And those of us who have been in the ministry for 40, 50 years have to do this and have to continually cast that imagination down.”
