5 Prayers of Financial Help – Prayers that Will Transform Your Finances – Favour and Blessing –

Will Transform Your Finances

Does the state of your finances accelerate your pulse? Does your brain crunch numbers each night long after you’re supposed to be asleep?

In our rapidly inflating and uncertain economy, money matters can drastically elevate our stress. Most of us remember the wide-sweeping mess that hit the workforce in 2008. Millions of people, some nearing retirement age, lost their jobs. Over four million foreclosures soon followed. Though things have improved a great deal since then, over 80 percent of today’s Americans find themselves in debt, some to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

It’s hard to give generously or participate in short term missions when creditors are harassing us. We can’t fully experience the abundant life Christ promised if we’re buried in debt and enslaved to our fluctuating checkbook.

If financial fears dominate your thoughts, be encouraged! Jesus isn’t just the God of our salvation. He’s our Jehovah-Jireh—our provider, guide, and ever-present help, and He longs to lead us into deeper levels of freedom in every area, including our finances. Here are 10 prayers that can help you align your heart, practices, and thus, finances, with God’s perfect will.

1. Lord, help me trust You.

Obedience comes from surrender and surrender rests on trust. We may know, intellectually, that God is all-knowing, all-powerful, and has a good and loving plan for us. But we can lose sight of those truths when creditors come knocking or medical bills flood in. In those moments, our finite, easily distracted minds tend to focus on our problems rather than the God who loves us. The result—increased anxiety and decreased spiritual sensitivity.

The solution is redirecting our thoughts. Asking God to help and then choosing to trust He will. When chaos hits, we can feel as if we’re victims to our circumstances—and our anxiety. But as we draw near to Christ in prayer, His Holy Spirit empowers, emboldens, and soothes, reminding us that He is our Jehovah-Jireh (Genesis 22:14), and will meet all our needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

2. Lord, change my heart.

Sometimes financial struggles come from unexpected crises, but many times greed, selfishness, and impulsivity are to blame. We live in a consumerism culture that celebrates instant gratification. As a result, we’ve grown accustomed to purchasing whatever we want when we want it. Entitlement, and the undercurrent of discontentment that usually follows, can be difficult to fight. We work hard; why shouldn’t we have that new car, larger home, or luxurious seven-day vacation?

There’s nothing wrong with traveling or enjoying nice things—if our finances permit and our hearts are in tune with Christ. But if we’re allowing our economic status to define or fulfill us, we’ve slipped into idolatry and therefore outside of God’s will; that’s a dangerous place to be, financially or otherwise.

If we want increased intimacy with God and the peace and clarity He offers, we need to ask Him to replace our idolatrous desires with a heart that beats only for Him.

3. Lord, grant me contentment.

I’ve found I need to repeat this prayer often—every time a covetous, discontent thought arises. When our daughter was young, we lived in the Los Angeles suburbs, and I was surrounded by peers with much more money than we had (or at least, who routinely spent more than we did). Initially, we mirrored the practices of our friends and buried ourselves in debt. One Christmas, with maxed out credit cards and a nearly depleted bank account, we were forced to make a choice: apply for more credit or drastically change our habits.

Praise God, by His grace, we chose the latter, and our journey began with learning to be content. For us, this meant buying a used car instead of a newer one, and driving it well past its glamorous stage. For Paul, the apostle who wrote the oft-quoted passage on learning the secret of being content when in plenty or in want, that meant cultivating joy while imprisoned and gratitude for whatever sliver of bread God provided.

That might seem harsh, perhaps even unrealistic, but it’s interesting to note, Paul is also the man who wrote Philippians, the book on joy.

Could it be that contentment paves the way for joy, and in the process, financial freedom?

4. Lord, give me confidence.

I’ve often wondered what my spending would look like if I had no one to impress. If I lived on some remote island without other human contact, would I seriously care what I wore? What make of car I drove, or how well decorated my little hut might appear? Though this line of thinking may seem silly, it illustrates an important premise—many of us spend money we don’t have to impress others. Whether this involves buying a new car to appear more successful than we are, or failing to say no when our friends suggest an expensive activity, this long standing trend has landed many in debt.

The solution—become deeply grounded in who—and whose—we are. Recognizing we’re deeply loved, have a God-ordained purpose, and are valuable because of the price Christ was willing to pay for us helps insulate us from the people-pleasing trap—a path that inevitably leaves us emotionally, if not financially, bankrupt.

Greed kills our relationships with others, our joy and peace, dulls our spiritual ears, and drastically hinders our intimacy with Christ. After all, how can we commune with the God who gave His everything so we could live if we’re walking through that life with fisted hands? Moreover, why would He bless us materially when we’re only going to use our wealth to gratify our desires?

Everything we have belongs to God to be used by Him for His glory. In light of this, consider Jesus’ words in Luke 16: 11-12, “So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches? And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else’s property, who will give you property of your own?”

We could easily repeat Jesus’ words from Luke sixteen here, beginning with verse 10, “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much” (NIV). Everything we do or don’t do both reveals and builds our character, and either reflects Christ or distorts His image.

Most of us probably would never seriously consider tax evasion or fraud but we might be tempted to behave deceptively in other, seemingly less consequential, situations. We may not think taking a handful of paper clips from the office or sending a personal fax or two is a big deal, but when God gave man the Ten Commandments, He didn’t set up a sliding scale on honesty. To the contrary, Scripture says God hates all dishonesty and demands His followers live with the utmost integrity in all matters, including in how we manage our finances.

Creating a workable budget can be challenging. Living according to that budget for more than a few months can feel practically impossible, especially if we are attempting to climb out of debt. Spending habits take time to change, and though the tug to impulse shop might grow easier, I suspect, in our consumerism culture where we’re bombarded with messages to buy-buy-buy, we’ll always find it difficult to choose frugality over momentary pleasures.

Focusing on long-term goals, like buying or paying off a house or saving up for a vacation can help. As can praying for the strength to persevere, even if we find ourselves eating boxed macaroni and cheese more times than we care to count.

When my spending and my income clash, it’s almost always a sign that my priorities have become misaligned. Most likely I’ve begun to value material things above the spiritual. This is especially true when I can find the money to buy those cute shoes in the department store but never seem to have enough to pay my tithe.

Material pleasures aren’t sinful, but if we value accessories more than helping to fund the expansion of God’s kingdom, our appearance has a greater piece of our heart than Christ does. In Matthew 6:24 Jesus told us what happens when we chase after material wealth while attempting to serve Christ. “Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other,” He said. “You cannot serve both God and money.”

That expensive steak dinner that tasted so great in the moment will likely be forgotten by tomorrow. That outfit we absolutely had to have today might land in our local thrift store by the year’s end. And that new car we felt certain would give us such pleasure depreciated by $4,000 or more the moment we drove it off the lot.

But every dollar we scrimp and save and put into savings will continue to work for us year after year. As will the money we invest in retirement or paying off our home. In life and finances the old adage, “pay now or pay later,” holds true. Scripture puts it this way, “A hard worker has plenty of food, but a person who chases fantasies ends up in poverty” (Proverbs 28:19, NLT). Granted, sometimes life hits hard, and financial difficulties hit despite our most diligent efforts, but focusing on where we want to be tomorrow, not simply what would make us happy today, makes economic stability more probable.

5. God, center my thoughts and heart on the things of eternity.

I’ve never been great at self-denial, and honestly, there are times when saving that dollar today so I can enjoy 10 tomorrow doesn’t feel like reason enough—especially when my favorite coffee drink is on the line! Though my heart longs for things of enduring value, I’m easily pulled in by whatever screams the loudest or flashes the brightest. But then Jesus reminds me of my ultimate and most fulfilling purpose—to play a part in His redemptive mission—and suddenly all those items that once captivated me, suddenly fade as eternity shifts into focus.

Because when I’m standing in front of my Savior, and He asks me, “What did you do with the gifts I gave you,” I’d like to be able to say more than simply, “I drank a lot of really great coffee.”

Prayer for Finances – Kenneth Copeland. Prayer for Financial Help from Bible From GOD – Blessing of Favor

Prayer for Finances - Kenneth Copeland. Prayer for Financial Help from Bible From GOD - Blessing of Favor

Heavenly Father, I have chosen Jesus as The LORD of my life and I seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, believing that the material things I need will be supplied. I choose for my character and moral disposition to be free from the love of money, greed, lust and craving for earthly possessions. I am satisfied with my present circumstances and with what I have, being confident because You have promised You will not in any way fail me, nor leave me without support. I am confident in Your faithfulness, that You will never leave me nor forsake me, nor leave me helpless.

I take comfort and am encouraged. I boldly say that The LORD is my helper and I will not be seized with alarm. I will not fear, dread or be terrified.

I believe, Father, that You wish above all things that I prosper and be in health even as my soul prospers. I will meditate in Your WORD day and night, not letting it depart from my mouth, keeping it in the midst of my heart, observing to do all that is written therein. I believe then I shall make my way prosperous and have good success. You have promised that as a doer of The WORD I will be blessed in all my deeds. I am assured that You will withhold no good thing from me as I walk uprightly. The uncompromising are never forsaken. I make it my ambition to live quietly and peacefully. I will mind my own affairs, working with my hands so that I may bear myself becomingly, correctly and honorably, and command the respect of the outside world, being self-supporting, dependent on no one and having need of nothing.

Knowing through Your WORD, Father, that You are The LORD my God who teaches me to profit and who leads me by the way I should go, I will put Your principles to work in my life regarding employment. I choose to apply myself to good deeds—to honest labor and honorable employment—so that I may be able to meet necessary demands whenever the occasion may require, and that I may not live an idle, uncultivated, unfruitful life, in Jesus’ Name.

I labor so that I may walk honestly toward those who are without. As I give, it is given to me again—good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over. I do not sow sparingly and grudgingly, but rather, I sow generously, blessing others. Therefore, I can expect to reap generously and with blessings.

You are heir to THE BLESSING! Read this powerful prayer for financial blessing based on Deuteronomy 28:1-14[MR1] . As you do, insert your own name in these financial breakthrough scriptures, and declare the many blessings that are yours through Christ (Galatians 3:13-14[MR2] ). You don’t have to live with debt, fear and worry of what may happen in the economy, or poverty. God wants the best for your finances, a breakthrough in your money situation. Stand for your prosperity today!

“Thank You, Father, for giving me prosperity in every area of my life. I commit to listening to Your voice and digging into Your Word. No matter what it looks like right now, I believe I have more than enough! In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

“Father, I thank You that I am an heir to THE BLESSING! I choose life today. I choose to be a conduit for what You want to do in this world. Thank You for Your Word and the many blessings that are mine. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

“Father, according to Your Word, I stand in unshakable faith, based on Your Word, ready to receive from You. I am a tither and a giver. Thank You for providing exceeding abundantly above all that I could ask or think. Thank You that You meet all my needs according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus and for multiplying my seed sown so that I may give into every good work. In Jesus’ Name. Amen!

“Father, Your Word says that He who ministers seed to the sower both ministers bread for my food and multiplies my seed sown and increases the fruits of my righteousness. Therefore, I am enriched in everything to all bountifulness, which causes through us thanksgiving to God. I thank You for it, Lord. I stand on Mark 4:23 which says, ‘If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.’ So I make the decision right now to receive. I will receive. I will do all the things necessary. I will plant—I am planting now. I put the sickle to the harvest. My confession is on the Word. My confession is by faith. In Jesus’ Name, I receive now by faith the hundredfold return on this seed that is in my hand. I do this in obedience to the Word. And, Satan, in the Name of Jesus, I rebuke you. You are the persecutor. Take your hands off my money! This is not your seed. It is not your land. It is mine and God’s. Stay out of my garden! Stay off my farm, for the harvest is mine! Lord Jesus, I plant this seed into ________ (ministry or church) and believe in its return because You said it. I dedicate it to Your service, to Your affairs, in Jesus’ Name. It will be as the loaves and fishes when You used the hundredfold principle to feed the people. Amen!”

We’re standing with you, believing that your financial blessing is here! The enemy has no control over your money. Read financial breakthrough scriptures like these and others, and stir up your faith to make your faith unshakable in regard to every dollar the Lord brings to you. THE BLESSING is yours!

Prayer for Finances – A Prayer for Financial Help From God – Prayer for Luck – Biblical Prayers

A Prayer for Financial Help From God

We’ve all been there. The moment where you cross your fingers and pray that the bills won’t bounce. Perhaps you’ve been faced with unemployment and you have no earthly idea how you’ll be able to make next month’s rent payment. Or maybe you’re working two jobs and still can’t seem to get ahead. Financial issues can be extremely stressful and effect so many different aspects of life – both physically and emotionally.

In order to gain better control over your finances, it may be wise to consult a financial advisor who has a better idea of how to manage funds and what type of options are accessible for your specific situation. While you may believe that you have it under control and perceive no other workable solutions, getting a second opinion on your financial situation can prove to make an extreme difference. Along with professional help, it’s important to maintain your sanity with spiritual assistance. You’ll discover a financial expert’s assistance coupled with prayer will provide you with the hope and motivation you will need to overcome just about anything.

The Bible provides Christians with a number of scriptures focused on money, finances and giving. Philippians 4:19 is one of my go-to scriptures to reference when I’m facing financial issues. The verse says, “And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.” It’s important, despite the frustrations tough finances brings forth, to know that the Lord is always by your side. He will never give you more than you can manage and will provide the necessities to live a prosperous life. First, place your faith in the Lord and he’ll do the rest.

“Dear Lord, help me to leave my financial worries in Your Hands. Guide me to peace so that I can hear your wisdom. Keep me mindful of my blessings no matter how much or little I may have. Grant me the patience and tolerance necessary to calm my spirit knowing that you have everything under control. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Patience is a virtue that is required within so many elements of life – finances being one of those main elements. From time-to-time God’s children become so bogged down with the endless list of demands our life brings forward. The Lord understands your frustrations and sees firsthand how much work you’re putting in each day. Chin up friend – ask the Lord to grant you the necessary patience to get through this difficult financial period. While it may seem overwhelming, while you’re in the moment, remember that the Lord will always provide you with the resources you’ll need.

And then there are times when we feel need a financial miracle – car breaks down unexpectedly, death in the family, water heater explodes, or an illness. For those times a prayer that asks the Lord Jesus Christ for a miracle is exactly what is needed.

“O Lord, You placed the stars in the sky. You created a myriad of beautiful life. You gave us our breathe and water to drink.

You are a living Lord. You are my Savior, in whom I trust. Please rescue me from this financial crisis, Come redeem this situation. I ask for your almighty hand to come and cover me.

Give me wisdom and strength to stand strong through this storm. I ask for a miracle by your redeeming love. Please restore me, lead me to a safe place, a secure place, a place of financial balance. In you I trust. Amen.”

Jesus Christ, who is your Lord and Savior, understands better than anyone the spontaneity in life – and moreover, how those unexpected times can bring on financial burdens. If you’re going through a difficult time, ask the Lord for a miracle through prayer. A prayer for financial help from God can be a definite game changer and provide you with the resources that you need to get out of the hole. The world is filled with an insurmountable amount of solutions; however, identifying those answers can prove to be very challenging. Through prayer, ask the Lord to give you guidance coupled with the patience you’ll need to discover the financial solution you desperately need. In many cases, you’ll discover a solution that is seemingly been in front of you the entire time. In addition, this difficult financial time could also lead you to wisdom that you would have ordinarily been blind to.

Lastly, one of the strongest messages spiritual messages comes from Matthew. These words redefine the true meaning behind necessity and desire. Often times, we as human beings, become obsessed with the materialistic aspects of things. Sometimes objects appear to be a necessity however, in fact, these items are not a vital aspect of survival.

“Our Lord challenged us in the Gospels not to worry about what we need in terms of the necessities of life such as food and clothing, but rather to “seek first the kingdom of God….and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matthew 6:33). He also advised us to not to worry about tomorrow, as it would take care of itself (Matthew 6:34).”

Matthew 6:33-34 are lines to memorize and revisit when you decide it’s necessary to request a prayer for financial help from God. Our Lord came face to face with so many challenges during his life – and at times he wasn’t presented with the most appealable odds. Yet, the Lord made his resources work and did his best to make sure those around him also had a livable quality of life. Before you say a prayer for financial help, reevaluate your situation and ask yourself some very important questions. Can you wake up tomorrow and survive without the money you are asking for? Will you go hungry if you do not have the financial help you’re praying to the Lord for? Will your family be in a state of destitution without these funds? If your answer is no, then you’ll discover that life is not that bad off as is. Answering these definitive questions will help to paint the reality that may be skewed in your mind. However, if your answers to those questions are yes then find comfort in knowing that the Lord will provide and hear your prayers. Always remember that your God will always be by your side.

Prayer For Prosperity Prayer For Prosperity, Financial Blessing, and Abundance of Wealth

God, money and thus financial release is one of your entitlements

Prayer For Prosperity

Prayer For Prosperity, Financial Blessing, and Abundance of Wealth

As a child of God, money and thus, financial release is one of your entitlements. The others (entitlements) being good health and unshakeable faith. Now, having prosperity in all these areas is a position/status in life that can be grabbed with these deep prayers.

“For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11

Despite what most people think, prosperity isn’t limited only to finances. Anybody and we mean you, your loved ones, and your friends can prosper financially, spiritually, and health-wise. And from our experiences, all three should acquired. If you walk with God (spiritual prosperity) and you prosper financially, lives will be touched by you. As a matter of fact, God encourages you to do this since it helps you turn more lives to God’s flock. With that said, if you also have financial release and your prosperity health-wise is ensured by God, by His will, you’ll live long while reaping the fruits of your labour.

“You shall walk in all the way which the LORD your God has commanded you, that you may live and that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you will possess.” – Deuteronomy 5:33

I pray that you remove me from the clutches of incapability and that—You provide me with all the earnings that I’ll use to take care of both myself, my loved ones, and all of Your Beloved for the rest of my life. Father, I need You to fix my life so that I’ll not be caught wanting. Instead, I’ll fulfill my roles in all needed areas of my life. I thank You God for the opportunity to have this prayer and for the forthcoming blessings, I exalt Your name and In Jesus Name, Amen.

Prayer for prosperity and protection

Oh Lord in Heaven, I come before You today for the sake of prosperity and protection. You’re the protector of Daniel and the benefactor of the Israelites. Father, bless me so that I may prosper in all the things I do in my life. I shall prosper financially, spiritually, and health-wise by Your will. Oh God, I pray You also protect me so that I will live a long and fruitful life In Jesus Name. All the blessings You shower upon me, no manner of enemy will collect it because I have Your divine protection. I thank You for Your presence today, and In Jesus Name I’ve Prayed.

Prayers for prosperity and financial release

Father, I’m here before You today because I want You to perform a miracle in my life. At this point, I cannot do it alone and even if I could, it cannot be compared to Your deeds. I walk in Your sight and I can personally testify to the other miracles in my life. God, I pray for financial release in the form of employment/my business. I pray that You lift my head so that I may stand proud as one of Your children. I want You to make me a living testimony and shame the enemies who doubted Your great works in my life. I thank You Oh God My Father, and In Jesus Name, Amen.

Prayer for blessings and favor

Heavenly Father, Your name leaves my lips daily in reverence of Your strength and unconditional love. Your undivided attention has been on me since I was in my mother’s womb and because You favoured me so, I was delivered into this world safe and sound. Lord, I ask that as You have been caring for me, You continue to do so. I want You to take the wheel of my life because nothing but Your blessings, favour, and love can suffice again. Lord, I ask for the double of Elisha’s blessing and I want to be Your favourite amongst millions. Be with me Oh Lord and let Your gaze waver not from me/my household. I glorify You El-Shaddai and In Jesus Name I’ve prayed, Amen.

Prosperity prayer in the bible

“For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11

God has great plans for you! So, no matter what you’re going through right now, keep in mind that the Great Shepard never abandons any of His sheep.

“In the morning, LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning, I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.” – Psalm 5:3

Kneel before the Lord, pray to Him because He is your Father. Also, you shouldn’t be afraid to go past these powerful prayers above. So, have a deep talk with Him and wait for His sign. Surely, He will answer You because His Love is unconditional.

“But he said to me, my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” – 2 Corinthians 12:9-11

When God is on your side, you’re never ever weak. In fact, all of your so-called weaknesses are always turned into positives when you walk and work with God.

Bring all the tithes (the tenth) into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts, “if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you [so great] a blessing until there is no more room to receive it.  Then I will rebuke the devourer (insects, plague) for your sake and he will not destroy the fruits of the ground, nor will your vine in the field drop its grapes [before harvest],” says the Lord of hosts. “All nations shall call you happy and blessed, for you shall be a land of delight,” says the Lord of hosts.

“Your words have been harsh against Me,” says the Lord. “But you say, ‘What have we spoken against You?’ You have said, ‘It is useless to serve God. What profit is it if we keep His ordinances, and walk around like mourners before the Lord of hosts? So now we call the arrogant happy and blessed. Evildoers are exalted and prosper; and when they test God, they escape [unpunished].’”
