Almighty God,I come before You in the name of Jesus Christ.

I confess that my life has been sinful separated from You ( Rom 3:23 ). Forgive my sins. Jesus I believe You shed Your precious Blood on the Cross for my justification. I thank You for Loving me.

Jesus I turn to You. Heal my body and soul. Heal my body, …heal my life. Come into my heart. Fill my soul. Change me. Mold me. Use me. Heal me. Deliver me. Transform my life and never let me be the same again. Cleanse me with your Holy blood and make me Whole.

Jesus – in You I have the Eternal life. And this is Eternal Life, that I may know You, the only True God and Jesus Christ whom You have sent ( John 17:1-5 ). Let me know You deeply through Holy Spirit Father. Reveal Your Will to me according to my calling.

Heavenly Father fill me with the Holy Spirit and Baptize me with the Holy Ghost and Fire. That I may have part of the First Resurrection ( Rev 20:5-6). I receive Your Spirit and the Spiritual Gifts as Holy Spirit gives me according to His Will. I desire for Spiritual Gifts.

Jesus. Give me a new mind and new heart and a new spirit. Transform my life as I surrender to Your Divine Calling. I surrender to Your will. I surrender to receive the Power!

In Jesus Mighty and Holy name and in the Blood of Everlasting Covenant (Hebrews 13:20-21),

I Pray and give You the Glory,
Amen

Put your hand on your heart and start to speak and utter, if the tongues of the Holy Spirit come…Be sure of your Baptism with the Holy Ghost! There can be in the beginning only few words. Warfare Prayer – Cleaning and Routing Demons – Jesus Christ Name – Prayer against Satan

Warfare Prayer – Cleaning and Routing Demons – Jesus Christ Name – Prayer

Warfare Prayer – Cleaning and Routing Demons – Jesus Christ Name – Prayer against Satan

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” – John 16:33

Are you in a battle today, and it’s taking more than just a physical toll on you? Are you finding it difficult to find the words to tell the devil to be gone? Spiritual warfare is crippling, real, and troublesome, but Jesus has already won us the victory! Pray along with these words now and let the Lord break the chains of fear and bondage!

Jesus, sometimes I can almost sense the heaviness of pressure mounting and the ominous presence of darkness around me. I recognize my enemy is at work again. Whether he’s trying to discourage me to get sidetracked, to fall into temptation, to give up, or to take my eyes off you, he’s always hanging around.

I need your supernatural power, Lord, to stand strong and not surrender. Physical force won’t help, because you’ve said the weapons of our warfare are different from those in this world. As believers, ours are powerful and can demolish strongholds and lies. These supernatural weapons originate from you. By your precious name and blood, Jesus, I’m asking you to confuse Satan and cancel his attempts to shut me and my influence down. Help me not to become discouraged or to give in when heavy times of testing come.

When I’m tired and weak, you are strong, Lord, and you are my only source of help. I cannot fight without you. Teach me how to pray and to trust you to pull down those strongholds that keep me or others helpless. Guard me from isolation that leaves me exposed and vulnerable. I believe you destroyed the power of my enemy by your death and resurrection. But like a bad penny, my enemy keeps showing up, whispering lies, twisting truth, and attempting to inflate my selfish pride. He never gives up.

I am declaring the devil and his demons liars today, Lord. Through the power of your precious name and blood, I agree with your Word and the truth that you are in me and that you are greater than my enemy who wants to rule the world. You, your Word, and prayer, Lord, are my secret weapons. I belong to you, and that fills me with a powerful God-confidence. I want to constantly dress in the spiritual armor you give me. Help me use it to defend others from Satan’s fiery darts as well. No one and nothing can snatch me away from your hand.

Strengthen my faith, Lord. Forgive my sins, so that I may be clean in your righteousness. Make me brave, so I can stand and fight the spiritual battles in my life and in our world. Give me your wisdom and discernment so I won’t be caught off guard. Together, Lord, we’ll win, because in truth, you already have.

Breaking satans provision & Coming Out of the Worldly System!

Derek Prince Victory in Praise – Warfare Prayers – Victory over devil

Victory in Praise

ith that introduction to worship, praise

and thanksgiving, now we will turn to

the theme of praise.

Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in His holy mountain. Psalm 48:1

The Lord is great, and for that reason He is to be praised. Praise relates us to God’s greatness. He is to be praised in proportion to His greatness. Following are seven scriptural facts about praise.

  1. Praise Is God’s Address

Thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel. Psalm 22:3 KJV

Praise is God’s address; it is where He lives. If you want to be where God lives, you must offer Him praise. The Hebrew word that means “to live in a place” is the same word for “to sit.” A settlement, for instance, is a place of sitting. The New King James Bible has beautifully translated that verse as: “You are holy; enthroned in the praises of Israel.” Praise is God’s throne. Our praise does not make Him a King; He is a King whether we praise Him or not. But when we praise Him, we offer Him His throne. We welcome Him and recognize His Kingship. Praise is God’s dwelling place and His throne.

  1. The Way into His Presence

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His

courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His

name. For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting,

and His truth endures to all generations.

Psalm 100:4–5

Three concepts found in Scripture are closely related, yet distinct: worship, praise and thanksgiving. All occur frequently in the Bible so it’s important that we can distinguish them. Worship is primarily an attitude or posture of the body: bowing the head, bowing the entire upper part of the body, prostrating yourself on the ground, or even bowing the human spirit before God. Praise, on the other hand, is an utterance. The Bible is emphatic that praise must come out of the mouth.Thanksgiving comes when we thank God for what He has done. In worship, we

relate to God’s holiness. In praise, we relate to God’s greatness. In thanksgiving, we relate to God’s goodness.

Praise is the way into God’s presence; the way into His gates and courts is with praise and thanksgiving.

Then the Scripture gives us three reasons why we ought to praise God: the Lord is good, His

mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations. Each of those statements is always true no matter what happens. If you want to get into God’s presence, that is the only gate. There is no other.

Violence shall no longer be heard

in your land, neither wasting nor

destruction within your borders;

but you shall call your walls

Salvation, and your gates Praise.

Isaiah 60:18

God lives in a city surrounded by walls called Salvation. Scripture clearly and emphatically

states that the only way through that wall is by a gate, and every gate is praise. In other words,

without praise there is no Access to God’s presence and the place where His people dwell.

  1. Praise and God’s Blessing

Save us, O LORD our God, and

gather us from among the

Gentiles, to give thanks to Your

holy name, to triumph in Your

praise. Psalm 106:47

Praise is God’s reason for blessing us, the interest on what He invests in us. God saves us andbrings us together to fellowship with Him and with one another because He wants us to give

thanks to His name and to triumph in His praise. David had been through a lõng dark period in his life. Many of us could look back over similar things in our lives.

You have turned for me my

mourning into dancing; You have

put off my sackcloth and clothed

me with gladness, to the end that

[this is the purpose] my glory

may sing praise to You and not be

silent. O LORD my God, I will give

thanks to You forever.

Psalm 30:11–12

Notice that God does these things that our glory may sing praise unto Him and not be silent. But

what is our glory? If we compare thefollowing two Scriptures, there is no doubt to the answer.

Therefore my heart is glad, and

my glory rejoices. Psalm 16:9

On the Day of Pentecost, Peter

quotes this verse saying:

Therefore my heart rejoiced, and

my tongue was glad. Acts 2:26

That tells us that “my glory” is “my tongue.” When the Bible says, “My glory will give thanks to

You,” it means, “My tongue will give You thanks.” That is why David adds “and not be silent.” It

is the organ of the body that either speaks or is silent. God’s primary purpose in giving you a tongue is to praise Him. It is the one member of the body with which you may most perfectly praise and glorify God. Remember that God blesses you, delivers you, and takes away your

mourning so that your glory will praise Him and not be silent.

  1. Our Spiritual Garment

Praise is part of our spirituaal clothing. Isaiah 61 speaks about the coming of Messiah and says

that He would “console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes [the emblem of

mourning], the oil of joy for mourning [oil being an embleem of the Holy Spirit], the garment of

praise for the spirit of heaviness”(verse 3).In modern English “the spirit of heaviness” is depression. But when you wear the garment of praise, the spirit of heaviness departs.

Another Scripture says:

“Rejoice in the LORD, O you

righteous! For praise from the

upright is beautiful” (Psalm 33:1).

When you put on the garment of

praise, in the Spirit you are

looking your best. It suits you. It

adorns you.

  1. Salvation and Praise

Praise is a way of deliverance. God is speaking:

Whoever offers praise glorifies

Me; and to him who orders his

conduct aright I will show the

salvation of God. Psalm 50:23

I believe it would be legitimate (though somewhat free) to Translate that verse this way: “Whoever offers praise glorifies Me and prepares a way that I may show him Mysalvation.” Through praising God we open the way for Him to intervene supernaturally on our behalf. There are many examples in Scripture where the intervention of God is brought about by praise.

Let’s look at one well-known example in 2 Chronicles. A strong alien army was invading Judah,

and King Jehoshaphat realized he did not have the military reV sources to meet this army. So he

resorted to spiritual weapons instead. Before they marched out to the battle, in accordance with

God’s instructions, this is what they did:

And when he had consulted with the

people, he appointed those who

should sing to the LORD, and who

should praise the beauty of holiness,

as they went out before the army

and were saying, “Praise the LORD,

for His mercy endures forever.”

2 Chronicles 20:21

As many people have pointed out, that is a strange battle strategy! Instead of sending out the tanks first, they sent out the choir to praise God. It sounds crazy, but it worked. When God’s people praised the Lord, God intervened and Dealt with their enemies. Now when they began to sing and to praise, the

LORD set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who hadcome against Judah; and they were defeated. verse 22

In the New Testament we read about Paul and Silas in jail. It’s midnight. They have been beaten,

their backs covered with blood. They are in the inner prison in maximum security with their

hands and feet in stocks. And what do they do next? They start to pray and to praise God. And at midnight

Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard

them [the Greek says, “the

prisoners listened attentively”].

And suddenly there was a great

earthquake . . . Acts 16:25

All the doors were opened, and everybody’s bands were loosed. Praise provoked the earthquake;

God intervened supernaturally. This is a consistent principle of Scripture. If you want the supernatural intervention of God on your behalf in a difficult or impossible situation, the key that will release it is your praise. And usually it’s at a time when you would least feel like praising God in the natural.

  1. A Spiritual Weapon

Praise is also a weapon of spirituaal warfare.

David is speaking to the Lord here:

Out of the mouth of babes and

nursing infants You have

ordained strength, because of

Your enemies, that You may

silence the enemy and the

avenger. Psalm 8:2

“The enemy and the avenger” is Satan. We need to silence him because he is accusing us before

the throne of God day and night. How? The strength that comes “out of the mouth” will do it, but

it does not tell us exactly what that is. Jesus quoted this same

Scripture in Matthew 21:

“Yes. Have you never read, ‘Out

of the mouth of babes and nursing

infants You have perfected

praise’?” Matthew 21:16

David said, “You have ordained strength”; Jesus, by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, changed it to “You have perfected praise.” That tells us that the ordained strength of God’s people is perfect praise. When we offer God perfect praise in the unseen realm that our natural eyes cannot penetrate, we silence Satan. We shut him up and we take from him his great weapon

of accusation. No wonder the devil doesn’t want you to praise God.

  1. The Sacrifice of Praise

Finally, praise is a sacrifice; it costs you something. There is a beautiful Scripture that describes

what is going to happen after Israel is restored. In place of desolation, misery and mourning, they are going to have:

The voice of joy and the voice of

gladness, the voice of the

bridegroom and the voice of the

bride, the voice of those who will

say, “Praise the LORD of hosts, for

the LORD is good, for His mercy

endures forever”—and of those

who will bring the sacrifice of

praise into the house of the LORD.

Jeremiah 33:11

I like that translation because I believe it brings out the real meaning. The sacrifice God wants

us to bring into His house is praise.

This is very clearly satted in Hebrews:

Therefore by Him [Jesus Christ]

let us continually offer the

sacrifice of praise to God, that is,

the fruit of our lips, giving thanks

to His name. Hebrews 13:15

If you praise God when you feel happy and everything is going well, that’s good—but it is not a sacrifice. When everything is going wrong and you still praise God, that is a sacrifice. It costs

you something to praise God when you don’t feel like it, but that is the time we most need to praise Him. We should praise God for three reasons: He is good, His mercy is everlasting, and His

truth endures to all generations. Those reasons never change.

Questions on Praise

When should we praise God?

Every day I will bless You, and I

will praise Your name forever and

ever. Psalm 145:2

You should praise God every day, forever and ever.

Psalm 34 begins with this explanation: “A Psalm of David when he pretended madness before Abimelech, who drove him away, and he departed.”

David had to flee from his native land and from King Saul who was trying to murder him. He had taken refuge in the court of a Gentile king named Abimelech. In order to protect himself, David had to pretend to be mad. Scripture says that he slobbered on his beard and scraped on the doors with his nails like a madman. King Abimelech said, “Look, you see the man is insane. Why have you brought himto me? Have I need of madmen?”

(1 Samuel 21:14–15).

Now that you understand the background, let’s look at David’s reaction to the situation:

I will bless the LORD at all times;

His praise shall continually be in

my mouth. Psalm 34:1

That is what makes a man or

woman of God. When you’re

down, everything’s against you, and

you can see no natural reason for

doing it, you still praise the Lord.

How do we praise?

In Psalm 111 the psalmist says,

“I will praise the LORD with my

whole heart” (verse 1).

I think it is grievous to praise God in a halfhearted way. Sometimes I see people in praise services who are just mouthing the words. He is worthy to be praised with our whole heart, so put everything you’ve got into it.

Psalm 63:4 says: “Thus I

will bless You while I live; I

will lift up my hands in Your

name.” Lift them up all the

way. Forget about the person

behind you! What God thinks

is more important. God says,

“Praise Me with your hands

lifted up.”

My soul shall be satisfied as with

marrow and fatness, and my

mouth shall praise You with joyful

lips. Psalm 63:5

So the hands, the mouth, and

Kenneth Copeland and the Power of Prayer – Prayer Video Kenneth Copeland 2017

Rev kenneth Copeland ; Praying in the Spirit – Evangelist Emmanuel Akhigbe Photo Youtube Copyright Chris Rosebrough

For several years, Kenneth Copeland has been known for his teachings on miraculous things that happen when we pray through faith. He says believes in the God of Exodus 34:10, who said, “And he said, Behold, I make a covenant: before all thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which thou art shall see the work of the LORD: for it is a terrible thing that I will do with thee.” Brother Copeland says if we believe in faith, we should expect the personal presence of God, along with miraculous healings and miracles.

He also believes America is about to witness a great revival.  He recently said, “I am totally convinced that now is a time of the Holy Spirit outpouring like we’ve never seen. We’re in the midst of the greatest thing that has ever happened. This is the reason there is so much pressure to distort this nation. This nation is at the heart of it. I believe the U.S. will ride the crest of this wave of manifestation of the Holy Spirit all the way to, and including the rebirth of this nation to where it will be known again as the nation that preaches the gospel to the world.”

A LONG-LASTING LEGACY

Kenneth Copeland is known around the world for his legacy of Christian ministry.  Kenneth is an author, a speaker, a television minister, and is also a recording artist and a pilot. One of his biggest desires is to see people live successful lives through Christ.

More than forty-five years ago, the Lord told Kenneth Copeland to preach the uncompromised Word of God on every available voice, proclaiming the truth of God’s Word and His unconditional love. He founded Kenneth Copeland Ministries in 1967. In 1973, they began printing “Believer’s Voice of Victory,” a weekly magazine with Christian articles. In 1979, the couple began broadcasting  “Believers Voice of Victory” Television show.  Since then, Kenneth and his wife Gloria have established a ministry that serves in many facets, including a school of healing, prison ministry, conferences, books, audio and video teachings.

Over the years, Kenneth and his wife Gloria have delivered Bible-based teaching articles about faith, love, healing, prosperity, redemption, righteousness, the anointing and the principles of victorious Christian living.  KCM has gone around the globe just to bring the good news that Jesus Is Lord, no matter where you are.  It continues to be their privilege to preach the good news of Jesus Christ around the world on every available voice – from the daily and Sunday Believers’ Voice of Victory television broadcast, to Conventions and Victory Campaigns, to the Believers’ Voice of Victory magazine, to the Internet.  Today, the ministry has international offices in Colombia, Costa Rica, Canada, Europe, Australia, Africa, Asia, and the Ukraine. The ministry broadcasts on over 600 stations daily and is also available through pre-recorded Internet webcasts at www.kcm.org.

The mission of KCM and Eagle Mountain International Church is to teach Christians worldwide who they are in Christ Jesus and how to live a victorious life in their covenant rights and privileges.  They are called to lead people to the place where they operate proficiently; to build an army of mature believers, bringing them from milk to meat, from religion to reality.

Kenneth Copeland Ministries was birthed out of “love for the people and a commitment to bring people the Word,” states Kenneth Copeland. “Our lives are totally wrapped up in ministering to the people. When we say, ‘We’re here for you,’ we mean it to this point—everything we do, everything we preach, every broadcast we come on, everywhere we minister, everything we say and do is prayed, engineered, designed to minister to the people…. God called us to take His message of love and faith to the whole world. We care about you and we want to help you find the answers you need in God’s Word.”

Kenneth looks forward to many more years of ministry. He said, “People say, ‘Kenneth Copeland, when are you going to quit?’ I don’t have time to quit. Oh how Satan would like for me and Pat [Robertson] to quit. You have to press and take advantage of 2 Corinthians 10:5, the weapons of our warfare are mighty. And those of us who have been in the ministry for 40, 50 years have to do this and have to continually cast that imagination down.”

Billy Graham’s Last Crusade: America Actually 58th Country To Host ‘My Hope’ 2013 Christianity – In Memory of Billy Graham

Billy Grahams Last Crusade America Actually 58th Country To Host My Hope. American Evangelist. Evangelist of Our Time

Billy Graham’s Last Crusade: America Actually 58th Country To Host ‘My Hope’

Highlights from new crusade format that focuses on filling living rooms worldwide instead of stadiums.

Billy Graham will celebrate his 95th birthday this Thursday in appropriate fashion, launching his largest-ever and likely last crusade.

More than 28,000 churches have pledged their involvement in “My Hope America with Billy Graham,” an event which pivots from the evangelist’s famous stadium-filling events to living rooms nationwide.

Based on Matthew 9:9-10, “My Hope” encourages Christians to invite non-Christian friends into their homes to watch a TV program featuring Graham. The video will feature clips of past sermons as well as a new message Graham has prepared—possibly his last.

However, this is not the first time the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) has held the “My Hope” campaign. In fact, America is one of the last places to host the program.

The televised campaign—instituted through churches—has reached 57 countries since 2002, with more than 298,000 churches participating and more than 4.4 million Christians.

This editorial originally appeared in the November 18, 1988 issue of Christianity Today.

History will remember Billy Graham as the world’s greatest missionary-evangelist. No other person has preached the gospel face-to-face to so many—over 100 million. No other person has led so many to make explicit spiritual decisions, usually to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior—over two million. And no other person has traveled to so many countries to preach the gospel—more than 65.

How could it ever have happened? How could a shy country boy from the foothills of North Carolina sway millions and stand before kings?

Some have suggested that, at root, Billy Graham is a supreme opportunist. At a crucial point in Los Angeles in his early ministry, media tycoon William Randolph Hearst ordered his chain of newspapers to “Puff Graham.” The media took over and created Billy Graham, his evangelistic career, and its worldwide success—or so the story goes.

However, Billy Graham’s own answer to this puzzle is “the hand of God.” The Spirit of God fell on this unpromising material and called him to be an evangelist. And who can deny the evangelist is right? From the very first, Graham’s unswerving purpose has been to carry the message of the gospel to all the world-to everyone everywhere by whatever means—so that some might be saved from the guilt and burden of their sins and others aroused and strengthened to live obedient and useful lives for the glory of God. From that goal, he has never deviated.

In his early mission, no doubt the heavy hand of William Randolph Hearst was laid upon him and gave him welcome advertising in his attempts to reach a wider public hearing.

Is Billy Graham an Evangelical?

Grant Wacker’s comprehensive portrait displays the tension between ‘America’s pastor’ and ‘evangelicalism’s architect.’

Writing about Grant Wacker’s America’s Pastor: Billy Graham and the Shaping of a Nation as a managing editor of Christianity Today is at once a daunting and complicated task. Graham founded this magazine. His portrait greets me every time I come in the building. I have on my wall a 1956 copy of his “Christianity Today Statement of Policy and Purpose.” On my desktop is a special 128-page issue on Graham’s life and legacy I put together years ago, ready to publish “at some point in the future,” as we euphemistically told our writers (several of whom Graham has now outlived).

So if Wacker calls himself “a partisan of the same evangelical tradition Graham represented,” I don’t quite know what that makes me—a fanatic of that tradition?

Wacker, who is about to retire from his position at Duke Divinity School as one of the preeminent historians of American religion, begins his book by warning that it’s “not a conventional biography. Numerous studies of Graham’s life or aspects of it already grace the shelves of public libraries, and many of them are excellent. My aim is different. I try to step back and ask another question: Why does Graham matter?”

Likewise, I won’t offer a conventional review, except to say that it is required reading for anyone seriously interested in evangelicalism, 20th-century American history, or the sociology of religion. If you want Graham’s life story, you may be better off with William Martin’s 1991 authorized (but honest) biography, Prophet with Honor. That volume is twice as long, and an updated version is due out “at some point in the future.”

Has Billy Graham Suddenly Turned Political?

The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) launched a major ad campaign last week encouraging Americans to “vote for biblical values” this November.

The ads convey one of two messages from evangelist Billy Graham:

The legacy we leave behind for our children, grandchildren and this great nation is crucial. As I approach my 94th birthday, I realize this election could be my last. I believe it is vitally important that we cast our ballots for candidates who base their decisions on biblical principles and support the nation of Israel. I urge you to vote for those who protect the sanctity of life and support the biblical definition of marriage between a man and a woman. Vote for biblical values this November 6, and pray with me that America will remain one nation under God.

Or:

On November 6, the day before my 94th birthday, our nation will hold one of the most critical elections in my lifetime. We are at a crossroads and there are profound moral issues at stake. I strongly urge you to vote for candidates who support the biblical definition of marriage between a man and woman, protect the sanctity of life, and defend our religious freedoms. The Bible speaks clearly on these crucial issues. Please join me in praying for America, that we will turn our hearts back toward God.

The ad campaign is the latest in a series of public statements this year that have prompted questions on whether they truly reflect Billy Graham’s concerns or whether they were initiated by his son Franklin Graham, who has been more outspoken than his father on political matters in recent years.

Earlier in the week, the BGEA removed an articlelisting Mormonism as a “cult” from its website.

More than 50 years ago—it was in 1953—Billy Graham awoke at 2 A.M. with dreams for a magazine. “Trying not to disturb Ruth,” he wrote in his autobiography, “I slipped out of bed and into my study upstairs to write. A couple of hours later, the concept for a new magazine was complete. I thought its name should be Christianity Today.” Billy used that document to recruit board members and staff and to raise the necessary resources. The first issue was distributed in October 1956 to more than 200,000 pastors and church leaders.

Twenty-five years ago, we published CT’s 25th anniversary issue, with Billy on the cover. Our founder responded to questions with lively, incisive insights.

This summer, in CT’s 50th anniversary year, we were to meet with Billy again. We anticipated less lively repartee on evangelical currents and world events this time. On the plane to North Carolina, Christianity Today International (CTI) president Paul Robbins and I read Newsweek‘s August 14 cover story, “Billy Graham in Twilight.” Yet he had preached earlier in the summer in Baltimore and, before that, in his “final” New York City crusade.

Our car climbed up a steep, narrow road over the multiple folds of rugged Blue Ridge woodlands to his mountaintop home. As we pulled up, three dogs gazed lazily at us. Inside the modest log home, we soon saw Billy’s tall, lanky form moving slowly toward us down a long hall. His warm welcome matched his sunny smile.

The day before, Billy told us, he’d felt a great deal of pain, but today he was much better. “Everything is nostalgia now,” he said, explaining that he is largely isolated.

Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.
-Colossians 4:6 (NIV)

For as long as I can remember, Billy Graham has been part of our family. Not in a literal sense, of course, since my father grew up in Minnesota while Billy Graham was raised in the South. Yet, God chose to weave their lives together—calling both to the work of evangelism, giving both the privilege of introducing tens of thousands of men and women to Jesus Christ, and planting in both an enduring friendship. Drawn together during the 1940s through the ministry of Youth for Christ, Billy Graham, Merv Rosell, and a small cadre of gifted young evangelists—sharing not only sermons and songleaders but also long seasons of prayer and a growing sense of awe at what God was doing through them—became the surprising leaders of what the editor of United Evangelical Action would by 1952 be calling “one of the greatest outpourings of the Spirit in the nation’s history.”

Those powerful midcentury revivals, marked by the large evangelistic crusades that swept through scores of American cities during the late 1940s and early 1950s, not only swelled the ranks of a resurgent evangelical movement, but they also helped to make Billy Graham the best known and most respected leader of our century. With Billy Graham’s new prominence, however, came increasing criticism. Old friends as well as new enemies began to voice concerns about everything from his theology to his style of preaching.

AMERICA may be a nation of believers, but when it comes to this country’s identity as a “Christian nation,” our beliefs are all over the map.

Just a few weeks ago, Public Policy Polling reported that 57 percent of Republicans favored officially making the United States a Christian nation. But in 2007, a survey by the First Amendment Center showed that 55 percent of Americans believed it already was one.

The confusion is understandable. For all our talk about separation of church and state, religious language has been written into our political culture in countless ways. It is inscribed in our pledge of patriotism, marked on our money, carved into the walls of our courts and our Capitol. Perhaps because it is everywhere, we assume it has been from the beginning.

But the founding fathers didn’t create the ceremonies and slogans that come to mind when we consider whether this is a Christian nation. Our grandfathers did.

Back in the 1930s, business leaders found themselves on the defensive. Their public prestige had plummeted with the Great Crash; their private businesses were under attack by Franklin D. Roosevelt’s New Deal from above and labor from below. To regain the upper hand, corporate leaders fought back on all fronts. They waged a figurative war in statehouses and, occasionally, a literal one in the streets; their campaigns extended from courts of law to the court of public opinion. But nothing worked particularly well until they began an inspired public relations offensive that cast capitalism as the handmaiden of Christianity.

The two had been described as soul mates before, but in this campaign they were wedded in pointed opposition to the “creeping socialism” of the New Deal. The federal government had never really factored into Americans’ thinking about the relationship between faith and free enterprise, mostly because it had never loomed that large over business interests. But now it cast a long and ominous shadow.

Accordingly, throughout the 1930s and ’40s, corporate leaders marketed a new ideology that combined elements of Christianity with an anti-federal libertarianism. Powerful business lobbies like the United States Chamber of Commerce and the National Association of Manufacturers led the way, promoting this ideology’s appeal in conferences and P.R. campaigns. Generous funding came from prominent businessmen, from household names like Harvey Firestone, Conrad Hilton, E. F. Hutton, Fred Maytag and Henry R. Luce to lesser-known leaders at U.S. Steel, General Motors and DuPont.

In a shrewd decision, these executives made clergymen their spokesmen. As Sun Oil’s J. Howard Pew noted, polls proved that ministers could mold public opinion more than any other profession. And so these businessmen worked to recruit clergy through private meetings and public appeals. Many answered the call, but three deserve special attention.

The Rev. James W. Fifield — known as “the 13th Apostle of Big Business” and “Saint Paul of the Prosperous” — emerged as an early evangelist for the cause. Preaching to pews of millionaires at the elite First Congregational Church in Los Angeles, Mr. Fifield said reading the Bible was “like eating fish — we take the bones out to enjoy the meat. All parts are not of equal value.” He dismissed New Testament warnings about the corrupting nature of wealth. Instead, he paired Christianity and capitalism against the New Deal’s “pagan statism.”

Through his national organization, Spiritual Mobilization, founded in 1935, Mr. Fifield promoted “freedom under God.” By the late 1940s, his group was spreading the gospel of faith and free enterprise in a mass-circulated monthly magazine and a weekly radio program that eventually aired on more than 800 stations nationwide. It even encouraged ministers to preach sermons on its themes in competitions for cash prizes. Liberals howled at the group’s conflation of God and greed; in 1948, the radical journalist Carey McWilliams denounced it in a withering exposé. But Mr. Fifield exploited such criticism to raise more funds and redouble his efforts.

Meanwhile, the Rev. Abraham Vereide advanced the Christian libertarian cause with a national network of prayer groups. After ministering to industrialists facing huge labor strikes in Seattle and San Francisco in the mid-1930s, Mr. Vereide began building prayer breakfast groups in cities across America to bring business and political elites together in common cause. “The big men and the real leaders in New York and Chicago,” he wrote his wife, “look up to me in an embarrassing way.” In Manhattan alone, James Cash Penney, I.B.M.’s Thomas Watson, Norman Vincent Peale and Mayor Fiorello H. La Guardia all sought audiences with him.

In 1942, Mr. Vereide’s influence spread to Washington. He persuaded the House and Senate to start weekly prayer meetings “in order that we might be a God-directed and God-controlled nation.” Mr. Vereide opened headquarters in Washington — “God’s Embassy,” he called it — and became a powerful force in its previously secular institutions. Among other activities, he held “dedication ceremonies” for several justices of the Supreme Court. “No country or civilization can last,” Justice Tom C. Clark announced at his 1949 consecration, “unless it is founded on Christian values.”

The most important clergyman for Christian libertarianism, though, was the Rev. Billy Graham. In his initial ministry, in the early 1950s, Mr. Graham supported corporate interests so zealously that a London paper called him “the Big Business evangelist.” The Garden of Eden, he informed revival attendees, was a paradise with “no union dues, no labor leaders, no snakes, no disease.” In the same spirit, he denounced all “government restrictions” in economic affairs, which he invariably attacked as “socialism.”

In 1952, Mr. Graham went to Washington and made Congress his congregation. He recruited representatives to serve as ushers at packed revival meetings and staged the first formal religious service held on the Capitol steps. That year, at his urging, Congress established an annual National Day of Prayer. “If I would run for president of the United States today on a platform of calling people back to God, back to Christ, back to the Bible,” he predicted, “I’d be elected.”

Dwight D. Eisenhower fulfilled that prediction. With Mr. Graham offering Scripture for Ike’s speeches, the Republican nominee campaigned in what he called a “great crusade for freedom.” His military record made the general a formidable candidate, but on the trail he emphasized spiritual issues over worldly concerns. As the journalist John Temple Graves observed: “America isn’t just a land of the free in Eisenhower’s conception. It is a land of freedom under God.” Elected in a landslide, Eisenhower told Mr. Graham that he had a mandate for a “spiritual renewal.”

Although Eisenhower relied on Christian libertarian groups in the campaign, he parted ways with their agenda once elected. The movement’s corporate sponsors had seen religious rhetoric as a way to dismantle the New Deal state. But the newly elected president thought that a fool’s errand. “Should any political party attempt to abolish Social Security, unemployment insurance, and eliminate labor laws and farm programs,” he noted privately, “you would not hear of that party again in our political history.” Unlike those who held public spirituality as a means to an end, Eisenhower embraced it as an end unto itself.

Uncoupling the language of “freedom under God” from its Christian libertarian roots, Eisenhower erected a bigger revival tent, welcoming Jews and Catholics alongside Protestants, and Democrats as well as Republicans. Rallying the country, he advanced a revolutionary array of new religious ceremonies and slogans.

The first week of February 1953 set the dizzying pace: On Sunday morning, he was baptized; that night, he broadcast an Oval Office address for the American Legion’s “Back to God” campaign; on Thursday, he appeared with Mr. Vereide at the inaugural National Prayer Breakfast; on Friday, he instituted the first opening prayers at a cabinet meeting.

The rest of Washington consecrated itself, too. The Pentagon, State Department and other executive agencies quickly instituted prayer services of their own. In 1954, Congress added “under God” to the previously secular Pledge of Allegiance. It placed a similar slogan, “In God We Trust,” on postage that year and voted the following year to add it to paper money; in 1956, it became the nation’s official motto.

During these years, Americans were told, time and time again, not just that the country should be a Christian nation, but that it always had been one. They soon came to think of the United States as “one nation under God.” They’ve believed it ever since.

Salvation Prayer - Jesus Christ - Salvation Prayer for Loved onesPropehcy Bible Christianity Jerusalem Prayer Jesus Christ News Breaking News Coming of the Christ Anima Christ Churc (2)

Jesus came to restore things on earth to God’s plan. He talked about this in Matthew 16 where he said, “I will build my church and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it (Matt. 16:18b). When He said, “build,” he used the Greek word for “family.” It’s not the word for “building a structure.” It’s the word for “building a family.” It means “to create a lineage or household or a family”. When Jesus chose that word, He was basically saying, “I’ve come to get the family back!” He was saying, “I’ve come to reverse the fall (of man recorded in Genesis) and, so that Satan won’t have the last word; I have come to redeem. The plan that I established from the beginning will be fulfilled! I’m here to get the family back!”

“This is why I have called you Peter (rock): for on this rock I will build My church. The church will reign triumphant even at the gates of hell.” (Matt. 16:18; VOICE).

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • God wants a family, and the church is His delegated family in the earth today. Let this sink in a minute. Think about everything Jesus has done in the power of the Holy Spirit to begin restoring God’s family to the Father.
  • Agree with Holy Spirit and tell the enemy, “God wants His family back! God’s getting His family back! Every single individual who will receive Him is coming into His Family!”
  • Call out every person by name that you know that needs to come into the family of God.
  • Ask God to use you to be an instrument of reconciliation of future family members with their Holy Father.

A prayer you can pray:

Father, this is a powerful revelation Of course You want Your family back—every single person Satan has tried to keep from you since the fall of man. Jesus, give me fresh revelation as I ponder the tremendous cost You paid to restore us to that heavenly family. This is what the church is in the earth—the restored family. Satan, God wants His family back. He’s going to get every single one who will receive Jesus as Savior back into His family. Lord, I call ____ (name everyone you know who needs to be saved) into Your family. Make me an instrument of reconciliation, Jesus. I want my whole family together with me, fulfilling the heart of the Father to have His family back. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Why God has not answred my Prayer? This Might Be Why God Hasn’t Answered Your Prayer Yet

Propehcy Bible Christianity Jerusalem Prayer Jesus Christ News Breaking News Coming of the Christ Anima Christ Churc (1)

One of the great challenges with prayer is when it is not answered. A specific request may come to mind. We ask God why He hasn’t answered us. But part of the problem with that is that we don’t figure out what our response should be to the fact that He hasn’t answered. Looking at some Bible stories may help and encourage you.

  1. Mary and Martha: They asked Jesus to come, but He waited till after Lazarus died. Jesus’ reason: Not yet, a bigger miracle is still coming. Abraham had a similar response when asking about a child. God did not answer till it was a really big miracle. What should we learn from those stories? The challenge to us: Keep asking!
  2. Jacob: I have been thinking about Jacob and his journey while Joseph was in Egypt. Jacob had to wonder about the dreams Joseph had in the years Joseph was gone. We know that because when the stories of Joseph being alive come to Jacob, the dreams were part of what helped him believe they were true. So what could have God told Jacob during those many years? You don’t have the whole story. What should we learn from that story? Keep asking!
  3. Job: When we see the struggle of Job, he is seeking God for an answer. Why is he struggling so much? Now although we see behind the scenes at what is happening in heaven, we are never told that Job figures it out. Basically, God says, “I am God and you are not, so it is really none of your business.” But even during that situation the lesson for us is: Trust God knows what He is doing, and you keep asking.
  4. Daniel: When we read the story of Daniel, he prays a prayer that doesn’t get answered right away. When he finally gets the answer, we learn that there has been a spiritual battle that has held up the answer. The lesson for Daniel and the lesson for us: There may be a spiritual battle, so keep asking.

Looking at the lives of those who have gone before us, the lesson seems to be: Keep asking. As we wait for an answer: Keep asking! Unless He comes back with an answer of no: Keep asking! Like Job, you may never understand why, but keep asking anyway! What prayer request do you need to keep asking for God to make a difference?

Prayers to Pray – Prayer Help – Call to Intercession: Pray the Church Recaptures the Spirit of Declaration Day

Propehcy Bible Christianity Jerusalem Prayer Jesus Christ News Breaking News Coming of the Christ Anima Christ Churc (6)

Last week on July 4, we celebrated the signing of the Declaration of Independence and called it Independence Day. Actually, our Independence came seven years later, in 1783. On July 4, 1776, we made a declaration of our basic principles, and so the holiday should really be called Declaration Day.

Our Founding Fathers declared first of all that all men were created equal. This powerful statement acknowledges that we are created by God, and that all else comes from Him. It was God who created us equal, with no preference for ancestry, skin color or other distinction. They actually echoed the biblical statement that, in Christ, “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, and there is neither male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus” (Gal. 3:28).

Secondly, they declared that it was God who endowed us with inalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. No one can take our lives because “God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son” (1 John 5:11b). In the same way, it is the Spirit of the Lord who gives us freedom (2 Cor. 3:17b), not to indulge ourselves, but to serve others in love (Gal. 5:13). The Lord gives us the choice of which path to follow in pursuit of happiness (Deut. 30:19), but He guides us to happiness by showing us that life, righteousness and honor come from pursuit of righteousness and love (Prov. 21:21).

In the many years since 1776, our nation has struggled to live up to the principles declared by our Founding Fathers. The stain of slavery and racism, denying God’s declaration of equality, has only now begun to disappear from society. Yet, in modern times, many have forgotten that our rights come from God, denying Him and looking to the state as our source of rights and happiness. Even the right to life has been subverted to a false freedom to serve ourselves. We stand in grave danger of losing the rights and freedoms declared so eloquently in 1776.

It’s time to turn things around.

Let us start with ourselves and join the Founding Fathers in their declaration:

* God created us, and everything comes from Him.

* God created us equal, to be one in Christ.

* God has given us the right to life through Christ.

* God has given us freedom in order to serve others.

* God has given us the right to pursue genuine happiness through righteousness and love.

Let us pray that the church will recapture the Spirit of Declaration Day and pass it on to a nation desperately in need of real equality, life, liberty and happiness.

Spiritual Warfare – Billy Graham Answers: What’s the Devil’s Most Successful Scheme? This may seem obvious, but it’s blinded so many in the world.

The great deceiver is always on the hunt, ready to pounce when he spots confusion or hesitancy.

But what exactly is he looking for? How does he decide who to manipulate and the way to do it?

One concerned reader asked Billy Graham: “What is the devil’s most successful trick? In other words, out of all the schemes he uses to try to lead us astray, which one works best? I’d like to know so I can be on guard.”

The wise evangelist responded:

I’m thankful you want to be on guard against the devil’s schemes—because the devil is real, and he will do everything he can to deceive us and turn us away from God. The Bible urges us to be alert to the devil’s schemes, “in order that Satan might not outwit us” (2 Cor. 2:11, NIV).

The devil has many tricks up his sleeve (so to speak)—but surely one of his most successful is to make us believe he doesn’t even exist. We may admit that evil is real—but then deny that behind it are demonic spiritual forces bent on our destruction and death. Or we may deny the devil’s true nature by turning him into a harmless cartoon character with a red suit and pitchfork. But Jesus said, “He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him (John 8:44b, MEV).

Someone has said that the devil doesn’t need to think up any new tricks—because the old ones still work! It’s true: lust, pride, power, discouragement, doubt, money, escapism, pleasure, hate, anger, jealousy, selfishness—the ways he attacks us are almost endless. If one temptation doesn’t work, he’ll try another—and he’ll keep on trying.

But listen: The most important fact about Satan is that he is a defeated foe! By His death and resurrection, Jesus Christ conquered death and hell and Satan—and someday His victory will be complete. In the meantime, make sure of your commitment to Christ, and turn to Him every day for the strength you need.

So be on guard always and aware that Satan and his minions are just as alert. But do not fear, for victory is in the Lord.

Prayers You Can Pray! UPLIFTING Prayers to Use Daily – Commit your life to God for the first time – Wisdom and direction

Prayers You Can Pray! UPLIFTING Prayers to Use Daily - Commit your life to God for the first time - Wisdom and direction

Like in any relationship, it can be a little hard at first to know what to say. Praying is no different! It might start off a bit rocky, but the more you talk to God, the more natural it will feel. Pretty soon praying will become a regular part of your life.

No matter what situation you’re in, God wants to hear from you. He wants to lead and guide you, give you wisdom, provide for you, and protect you. Though He doesn’t always answer in the way we would like, He does always answer.

Here are a few prayers for when you’re at a loss for words. So go ahead, and start the conversation!

When you want to commit your life to God for the first time:

Lord Jesus, I want to know You personally. Thank You for dying on the cross for me. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be. Amen.

When you want Him to be the center of your life:

Dear Jesus, I want you in the center of my life and I commit, through your power, to serve and obey you anytime, anywhere, at any cost, to do anything. Amen.

If you just prayed one of these prayers, we’d love for you to talk to us.

When you renew your commitment to God:

Father, into Your hands I commit my spirit. For it is Your business, not mine. You will know every shade of my suffering; You will care for me with Your perfect Fatherhood. (George MacDonald)

When you first wake up:

Dear Lord, I give You my hands to do Your work, my feet to go Your way, my eyes to see as You see, my tongue to speak Your words, my mind that You may think in me, my spirit that You may pray in me. Above all, I give You my heart so that You may love through me. Amen.

When you are scared:

Father God, I am feeling fearful today. Life seems uncertain and out of control. I know that the Bible says, “Perfect love casts out fear.” You alone are perfect love; would You please remove this fear I feel and replace it with confidence in You? I trust that You will take care of me — moment by moment, day by day. In Jesus’ name, amen.

When you want to be in God’s will:

Lord Jesus, keep me in Your will. Don’t let me go mad by poking about outside it. (Corrie Ten Boom)

When you need wisdom and direction:

Father God, there are so many decisions to make, and I don’t know what to do. You said if we lack wisdom, all we need to do ask. So I humbly ask that You would pour wisdom into my mind today, and may the right choices be clear as I discern Your will. Thank You!

When you are sick:

Father, I am feeling lousy today. I ache all over and feel very weak. You said that Your grace is sufficient for me. Please strengthen me and give me joy, no matter how I feel physically. Amen

For your children and/or grandchildren:

Lord, I am so glad that You know each of our children and grandchildren by name. I forget about that, sometimes. Thank You for sending Your angels to surround each one of them and for protecting them today. Father, please turn their minds and hearts toward You. Help them to want to please You in everything they think, say, and do. Thank You!

When you are moving:

Lord, I have such mixed feelings about moving. There are so many memories here in this house, but I know it’s time to go. Thank You that despite all the changes going on in my life right now, You never change. You are and always will be a constant in my life. Help me to remember that when I am packing and unpacking. Amen.

When you want to be reflecting Christ:

Lord, make my life a window for Your light to shine through, and a mirror to reflect Your love to all I meet. Amen.

When you’re in conflict:

Dear God, when Your son Jesus died and rose from the dead, He broke down walls of hostility. Father, You know the conflict I am having right now. I don’t know how to resolve it. Thank You that You are my Savior. Please save and restore this relationship. Amen

For others:

Watch, O Lord, with those who wake, or watch, or weep tonight, and give Your angels charge over those who sleep. Tend Your sick ones, O Lord Christ. Rest Your weary ones. Bless Your dying ones. Soothe Your suffering ones. Pity Your afflicted ones. Shield Your joyous ones. And all for Your love’s sake. Amen. (Prayed by Father Timothy Kavanagh)

For thanksgiving:

For health and strength and daily food, we praise Your name, O God. Amen.

When you need more faith:

Teach me to treat all that comes to me with peace of soul and with firm conviction that Your will govern all. Amen. (Prayed by Elisabeth Elliot)

When your marriage seems to be falling apart:

Dear God, our marriage is really shaky right now. I really don’t want it to break-up. Show me ways I could show (name) I love and care for her/him. You are merciful. Please show Your mercy by helping us love each other more. Thank You! Amen.

For protection:

Father God, I need Your protection. My family needs protection. Help me to love and respect You more. Amen.

For being an instrument for God:

Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace; where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy. (Prayed by St. Francis of Assisi)

A Prayer for President Trump – Psalms 20-21 – Spiritual WarFare against Principalities and Powers

bible-scripture-gospel-testament Prayer for Donald Trump Royalty Free Image

A Prayer for President Trump – Psalms 20-21

Lord God,

We bring President Trump before Your throne this day in the name of Jesus. We pray You will answer Him when He calls to You in the day of trouble. May Your name as the God of Jacob protect him. Please send him help from Your sanctuary and give him support from Your unseen temple in the heavens. I pray that You will save him and answer him from Your holy heaven with the saving might of Your right hand.

I pray that he will not trust in chariots or horses but instead learn to trust in Your name as the Lord our God. Cause him to rise up and stand firm as he trusts in You. Please grant him every desire of his heart that is pleasing to You and cause every plan of his that is in accordance with Your will to succeed. Fulfill every petition he brings to You that is consistent with Your will. We ask You to grant us our requests on his behalf, that we may shout for joy and lift up banners in Your name when Your will is done through him.

We acknowledge that as You set the crown on King David’s head, so You have elevated him to the highest office in our land. We pray that he will rejoice in Your strength and not in his own. We pray that You will draw him near to You so that You may make him glad with the joy of your presence. As he trusts in You, we pray that because of Your steadfast love, the love of the Most High, he will not be moved or shaken. Grant him life and length of days and eternal blessings.

We know that the president has enemies in the world that is seen and the world that is unseen, enemies who hate him and will devise mischief against him. We pray in Jesus’ name that every evil plan they have devised against him and your purposes through him will be thwarted. May his enemies, seen and unseen, be put to flight and may their plans not succeed.

One prayer to break all curses, cast out demons and protect yourself – Derek Prince Video casting out Demons – Warfare Prayer – Breaking the Curses

One prayer to break all curses, cast out demons and protect yourself - Derek Prince Video casting out Demons - Warfare Prayer - Breaking the Curses

Derek Prince on Youtube – Protection prayers

You can add to this prayer as inspired by the Holy Spirit and through scripture.  Pray it as one prayer or use each section as and when required.

Before, you use this prayer, please read Matthew 12:43-45.  After expelling the spirits from yourself, you will have to stop sinning, cut out the things of the world and serve God to prevent them from coming back in.

It’s recommended to pray the protection prayer in step 4 or pray the One Warfare Prayer everyday.

Step 1: Confess sins then renounce pride, rebellion and self-centeredness

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus, I believe that Jesus died on the cross to take my sins and rose again from the dead. I confess all my sins and repent.  Vengeance belongs to you God, not me.  I forgive everyone who has hurt me and pray for their souls because they don’t know what they have done to me.  In Jesus’ name, I transfer all pain, betrayal, rejection, abuse, trauma, shame, guilt and abandonment to the cross of Jesus Christ. I let go of all anger, resentment, hatred, thoughts of revenge and every malicious thought.  Father, as I forgive them, please forgive me. (How to forgive everyone).  I know that pride is an abomination to you. I renounce pride, rebellion, disobedience, stubbornness and self-centredness.  I humble myself and come to You as a little child and ask for forgiveness and deliverance, in Jesus’ name.  Amen.

Step 2: Breaking all the curses

In the name of Jesus Christ, I break and loose myself and my family from all curses caused by habits, charms, hexes, spells, jinxes, psychic powers, sorcery, witchcraft, love potions, psychic prayers, violence, trauma, physical bondages, mental bondages, incest, illegitimacy, abandonment, rejection and divination, in the family on the mother and father’s side going all the way back to Adam and Eve.

I break and loose myself and my family from any vows I made; from any person or any occult or psychic sources, and any demons coming through the bloodlines.  I cancel all invitations made to unclean spirits.

Father, I break and renounce all evil soul ties that I have ever had with (lodges, fraternities, sexual partners, close friends, relatives, engagements, cults, occult objects, dolls, figurines, junk food, cigarettes, drugs, movies, anime, TV shows, computer games, gambling, porn, masturbation, fornication and secular music). I renounce all these ties and declare them destroyed in the name of Jesus.

I renounce, break and loose myself and family from all other religions, especially Roman Catholicism /Hinduism /Islam /Buddhism /Mormonism /Jehovah’s Witness /New Age /Atheism and other religions.  I also renounce unbelief, doubt, lies, fear, hatred and anger.  I bind and cast out all related spirits.

I renounce, break and loose myself from all demonic subjection to my parents or any human being, living or dead, who has dominated me in any way against the will of God.  Thank you for setting me free.

I command satan, to loose all natural resources, land, animals, money, the finances of people who owe us money, and all the things you have stolen from my family that are ours through the blessings of Jesus.  Father, please send Your angels to bring these things back to us.  In the name of Jesus I pray.  Amen.

Step 3: Bind the demons and cast out the demons

Through the blood of Jesus, I am redeemed out of the hand of the devil and all my sins are forgiven.  The blood of Jesus Christ, cleanses me from all sins.  I am justified and made righteous, just as if I had never sinned.  I am set apart for God.  My body is a temple for the Holy Spirit, redeemed and cleansed by the blood of Jesus.  I belong to Jesus now, body, soul and spirit. His blood protects me against all evil.  Satan has no more power over me, no more place inside of me.  I renounce all evil spirits completely and declare them to be my enemies. Jesus said: “And these signs shall follow them that believe: In my name shall they cast out devils: ….” (Mark 16:17).  I am a believer, and in the name of Jesus Christ, I exercise my authority and expel all evil spirits.  I command them to leave, according to the Word of God and in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Find a strong believer to pray the next section.  If you can’t find one, try praying it yourself (or contact me):

Father in heaven, please send your Holy Spirit to fill us up in the name of Jesus.

I ask for legions upon legions of angels from heaven in the name of Jesus to station around us.  Angels of the Lord, at Jesus’ command, attack every unclean spirit in Jesus’ name.

I bind the principalities, powers, rulers of darkness, spiritual wickedness and all the strong demons in the name of Jesus.  I command all demons not to transfer, go exactly where Jesus wants you to go and do not come back.  I cancel all demonic assignments on this person.

[Now, speak the following commands below – if they’re not starting to come out within 10 minutes, they probably have legal right]

  • In the name of Jesus, I remit the sins of this person.
  • In the name of Jesus, I separate every foul spirit from this person’s soul in accordance with the word of God in Hebrews 4:12.
  • I cut every foul spirit from this person with the sword of the spirit.
  • Unclean spirits I command you to manifest and come out in the name of Jesus.
  • Demons, I command you to come out of the mouth now and never come back in Jesus name.  Go to the pit! (Repeat) Up and out! (Repeat)
  • I send Holy Spirit fire to burn you 1,000 times hotter than hell in the name of Jesus. Fire from head to toe! (Repeat)  Hotter! (Repeat)
  • I send Holy Spirit fire all over your body in the mighty name of Jesus. Fire from head to toe! (Repeat)  Hotter! (Repeat)
  • I send Holy Spirit fire all over the room, the floor and the ceiling. Fire from head to toe! (Repeat)  Hotter! (Repeat)
  • Every evil spirit that hears my voice, I command you to tell the truth in the name of Jesus.  Tell us your name in the name of Jesus.  How long have you been in there? What have you been doing inside? How many are inside?  And do you have a legal right to be there?
  • Every evil spirit that hears my voice, I command you to attack the strongman. Do not stop in the name of Jesus.  I order civil war in the name of Jesus.  Evil spirits attack each other in the name of Jesus.  Destroy your own kingdom.
  • I loose burning judgement and destruction upon you in the name of Jesus.
  • I command you to look at Jesus and do what he tells you to do. Look at Jesus! (Repeat) Do what he tells you to do! (Repeat)
  • I cut all evil spiritual connections to this body and burn it away in the name of Jesus. Burn off now! (Repeat)
  • I torment you demons and give you no rest in the name of Jesus.
  • Father in heaven, send power from the third heaven to destroy these demons in the name of Jesus.
  • I trample on you demons and shatter your being, in the name of Jesus.
  • I come against every unclean spirit by the blood of the lamb.  This is a child of God.  Their body has been sanctified by the blood of Jesus.
  • I rebuke and cast out every unclean spirit to the pit and command them never to return in the name of Jesus.
  • Warrior angels, hook into the demons and rip them apart.  Send the demons to the pit in Jesus name.
  • Warrior angels, flog the demons and choke them out.  Send the demons to the pit in Jesus name.

Repeat each command as directed by the Holy Spirit.  End the deliverance by giving thanks to God and praising him in the name of Jesus.

Step 4: Protection prayers for you who are the body of Christ

Dear Father, please make me a humble servant of people like Jesus Christ.  I will push myself down, so that you God can lift me up.  Remove my human understanding and wisdom and fill me with your wisdom and understanding.  I’m a worm before you, Lord.  In accordance with your word, my righteousness is as filthy rags.  I can’t do good without you.  Please have mercy upon me and help me change day by day to become more like Jesus Christ.

I ask that you please send your ministering spirits to protect your people; and all people and animals that would be sacrificed or cursed by occult practices.

In the name of Jesus, I loose legions upon legions of angels to warfare, restore souls, protect believers, stop us from believing and agreeing with lies and release breakthrough upon myself, my family, friends and the world in the name of Jesus.

I loose the Holy Spirit who is the spirit of understanding and wisdom, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and fear of God, and the spirit of adoption upon myself, family and the world.  I invite your Holy Spirit who is the spirit of power, of love, and of sound mind against the spirit of fear.

Father, please pour out your Holy Spirit to convict the world of sins and to soften hearts to see truth.  Above all, I pray for your will, Father, to be done on earth even as it is done in heaven.  In Jesus’ name I pray.  Amen.

Now GET WATER BAPTISED BY FULL IMMERSION (if you have a bathtub I’ll baptise you).  If you need help with scripture or if you can’t get the demons out yourself.

Trust in God

Keep doing self-deliverance by praying everyday and submitting your will to God.  This may take weeks or even months.  Keep going.  Deliverance comes when you are desperate and have faith.  If you don’t have faith, read the word of God (see Romans 10:17)

After deliverance, the spirits will hit you with LIES and then FEAR.  Example of lies: “You blasphemed God/Holy Spirit/Jesus” or “You just had an evil/lustful thought.”  Then they follow it up with fear: “You’re going to hell.” or “God will never forgive you.”

Rebuke the lies:

In Jesus name, I rebuke you lying, hypocritical spirits.  That thought didn’t come from me.  It came from you.  Depart from me in Jesus name.

Rebuke the fear:

In Jesus name, fear is not from God.  I rebuke you fear and come against you with the spirit of love, and of power and of sound mind in the mighty name of Jesus.

To overcome lies and fear, you will need to learn how to stand on the word of God.  You will need to keep your mind on God and trust in the word of God to protect you.  If you let doubt enter, your peace will be destroyed.  Perfect peace comes from thinking about God all the time, trusting him, remembering what Jesus did for you, understanding that you are forgiven when you confess your sins (1 John 1:9) and thanking God for his mercy and grace.

Isaiah 26:3 King James Version (KJV)

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

Think of all the good things only:

Philippians 4:8 King James Version (KJV)

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

5 Powerful Prayers for Protection – Prayers for Protection from the Bible – “Priestly Blessings” prayer from Scripture

Our world is filled with events and situations that can cause great fear and anxiety. It’s easy to become overwhelmed and live imprisoned by fear.  We are promised in God’s Word that he is faithful and will protect us (2 Thessalonians 3:3).  God wants us to let go of fear and to live life to the fullest! (John 10:10) When you are overcome by worry, use these prayers for protection to remember who God is and the protection he has promised you.

5 Powerful Prayers for Protection

  1. Prayer for protection – personal:
Father, I come to You today, bowing in my heart, asking for protection from the evil one. Lord, we are assailed moment by moment with images on television, the internet, books and newspapers that leave us vulnerable to sin of every kind. Surround us with Your divine hedge of protection. Encompass us round about with Your strength and Your might. Let all who take refuge in You be glad, let them ever sing for joy. And may You shelter us, that those who love Your name may exult in You. For it is You who blesses the righteous man, O LORD, You surround him favor as with a shield. (Psalm 5:11-12)

Lord, I ask that You protect our minds. Father, the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace. (Romans 8:6) O God, set our minds on You. Let us not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our minds that we may prove what Your will is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. (Romans 12:2) Help us by the power of Your Spirit to think on whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything is worthy of praise, let our minds dwell on these things. (Philippians 4:8)

Strengthen us in the power of Your might, O God. Dress us in Your armor so that we can stand firm against the schemes of the devil. We know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.(Ephesians 6:10-12)

You are our keeper, O Lord, the shade on our right hand. Protect us from all evil and keep our soul. Guard our going out and our coming in. From this time and forever. In Jesus’ name, Amen. – by Lynn Cooke

  1. Prayer for protection – family:
Lord, I pray Your emotional, physical, and spiritual protection over my kids (grandkids). Keep evil far from them, and help them to trust You as their refuge and strength. I pray You will guard their minds from harmful instruction, and grant them discernment to recognize truth. I pray You will make them strong and courageous in the presence of danger, recognizing that You have overcome and will set right all injustice and wrong one day. Help them to find rest in Your shadow, as they live in the spiritual shelter You provide for them. Let them know that the only safe place is in Jesus, and that their home on earth is only temporary.  – Ryan Duncan, Culture Editor at Crosswalk.com
  2. Prayer for protection – family:
Lord, I pray that my kids (grandkids) will develop an eternal perspective and purpose, not an earthly one.  Help them to see life–and every challenge–through Your eyes, eager and unafraid to share with others the good news of Jesus wherever they go. I pray that they will set their minds on things above, not just what’s going on here, and that they will be rooted and grounded in Your love. I pray they will come to understand the extent of Your own love for them–that it surpasses all the head knowledge they will acquire in school. I pray they will be filled up with You from morning ’til night. – Rebecca Barlow Jordan

  1. “St. Patrick’s Breastplate” protective prayer:
Celtic monks used it to start their day.The hymn was several stanzas long, and the last two stanzas were especially memorable and moving:

Christ be with me, Christ within me,
Christ behind me, Christ before me,
Christ beside me, Christ to win me,
Christ to comfort and restore me.
Christ beneath me, Christ above me,
Christ in quiet, Christ in danger,
Christ in hearts of all that love me,
Christ in mouth of friend and stranger.

I bind unto myself the Name,
The strong Name of the Trinity;
By invocation of the same.
The Three in One, and One in Three,
Of Whom all nature hath creation,
Eternal Father, Spirit, Word:
Praise to the Lord of my salvation,
Salvation is of Christ the Lord.

  1. “Priestly Blessings” prayer from Scripture:
Numbers 6:22-27is known as the “Priestly Blessing” or sometimes the “Aaronic Benediction.” There are seven requests made in this prayer.

The LORD said to Moses, “Tell Aaron and his sons, ‘This is how you are to bless the Israelites. Say to them: “’The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.”‘ “So they will put my name on the Israelites, and I will bless them.”

  1. The Lord bless you…
The word “bless” means to “provide favor or benefit.” Father, we pray that for our children. You are the Eternal God. Please place Your great kindness and advantage on those we love. May they be approved and favored by You.
  2. and keep you…
The Hebrew word “keep” means to “watch, guard, defend.” This is a prayer for protection. Father, my children are not perfect. They are going to make mistakes. But please watch over them and guard them again mistakes of youth that are unalterable. Please defend them against temptation. Protect them against Satan who desires to devour them.
  3. the LORD make his face shine upon you…
This is a request for God’s presence.Father, as a parent I know that I can’t be with my children all the time, but You can. Just like they feel the warmth of the sun shining on them, please allow them to experience Your presence. Thank You for being with them wherever they go.
  4. and be gracious to you…
Grace is God’s undeserved favor. He gives us what we don’t deserve. Father, thank You for Your gift of grace. I pray that gift to be poured out on my children. Following that great gift of salvation, please show them your kindness and love in all the endeavors of their lives.
  5. the Lord turn his face toward you…
Here is a request for God’s fellowship.Father, thank You, that because of their trust in Jesus, the Holy Spirit lives in my children. Please walk with them in a powerful way. Enable them to submit to the Spirit’s control day by day and moment by moment.
  6. and give you peace.
The Hebrew word for peace used here is “shalom.” It means “completeness, wholeness, and contentment.” Lord, please calm my children’s fears; soothe their anxious souls. Keep them complete and whole in their thinking, emotions, desires, and actions.
  7. So they will put my name on ___________ (the name of your child/children).
This is a request of identification. Lord, please place Your holy mark on my children. Set them apart to be used by You. I love them but You love them more. You love them with an everlasting love. May they represent You well on their earthly journey. And when their journey is completed, welcome them home to live forever with You.

Who is Beliver? The Christian’s Power of Attorney

WHO IS A BELIEVER?

Because so many promises are given to those who are believers, it isimportant to know who the Bible classifies as a believer. In the Greek “believe” indicates one relying on Jesus Christ for salvation. In Acts 5:14 the word means unadulterated trust. In I Timothy 4:12 — trueness, to entrust one’s spiritual faith, assurance, well being.Today a great number of church members give lip service that Jesus Christ is the Son of God because of having studied and been told about it.

Unfortunately for many there is no real power or influence evidenced in their lives because of this profession. A real believer as referred to in scripture means much more than head knowledge. This kind of knowledge is only “religious” and is no danger to Satan and his demonic program.

The warning is sounded in Isaiah 7:9 that “If ye will not believe, surely ye will not be established.” There MUST be evidence of change in the life of a true believer, in thoughts and actions, to demonstrate the genuineness ofconversion (James 1: 22)

A check list for believers: must bear fruit (John 15:2); signs shall follow (Mark 16:17-18); shall do works Jesus did (John 14:12); answered Prayer

(John 15:7); friend of Jesus (John 15:14); witnessing (John 15:27).

THE CHRISTIAN’S POWER OF ATTORNEY

  1. It is essential to believe the gospel and everything it teaches for believers(II Tim. 3:16, 17) . Repentance and renunciation of all sin and wrong doing is another requirement (Acts 26:18; II Cor. 6:17).
  2. Obedience to the gospel and seeking for enduement of power (Luke 11:13; 24:49; Acts 1:4-15; 2:38, 39; 5:32).
  3. Surrender to God, walk and live in the Spirit (Romans 8:1, 2, 8-10,13-16; Gal. 5:16-26; Col. 3:17).
  4. Learn to pray in faith (James 1:5-8; Hebrews 11:6).
  5. Believe in your mission in life as a representative of God (Acts 1:8).
  6. Know your position in Christ (Eph. 2:6).
  7. Learn to use the name of Jesus in accordance with the Word of God (Acts 3:16; 4:12; John 14:12-15; 16:23-26; Col. 3:17; John 15:7-16;13:35).

Prayer for Strength and Guidance – God will guide you always – Receive strength and guidance

Prayer for Strength and Guidance

“The Lord will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.” Isaiah 58:11These amazing words show the heart of our Father God toward us when we turn from shallow worship to true, heartfelt worship of God. Then we can rest upon His wonderful promise.“He will guide you always.”
If confusion confronts your way and you don’t know what to do, set your heart firmly upon trusting Him one step, one day at a time. He promises to go before you. Thank Him that He sees the road ahead and will never leave you as He guides you through the maze. If shallow worship has become familiar to you, anchor yourself afresh to His steadfast love and care, and trust Him through the challenges.

“He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame.”
As you realign your heart with God’s and determine to trust His love, even when all around you is desert sand, He will meet your needs. It may look different than you are used to, but watch for His hand and thank Him for every morsel and every evidence of provision. Look to Him to dissipate the stress in your body and the tension in your mind as you feel Him strengthen your frame.

“You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.”
When your eyes look first to God with gratitude that He is walking close beside you, guiding your steps and guarding your soul, you will feel His peace. This peace will keep you anchored, steady, and strengthened to walk through each day, step by step. This peace will settle you, and will be enough to share with others.

Here is a suggested prayer to receive strength and guidance:

Father God, thank You that You have promised to guide me always, not just when I am up and on track, but always. Today I lean hard on that promise. I ask You to continue to show me the way to walk, step by step.  Father, sometimes I feel like a sun-scorched land… yet You promise to meet my needs even there. Today I acknowledge I need You. My worship of You has been shallow and I ask Your forgiveness. I am parched and I look to You to give me emotional strength, spiritual insight, and physical stamina when things around me seem to be drying up. Thank You Father that Your tender care encompasses all of me. Help me to draw on that care today and to praise You for it! Thank You that You are my anchor. Help me to worship You with awe and wonder as I trust in Your love for me. I pray this in the strong name of Jesus, amen.

Prayers for Peace and Happiness

Here are prayers that will bless you today!

Prayers for Peace and Happiness

You may be feeling discouraged or empty today. Those around you may offer little inspiration and answers. Here are prayers to strengthen, bring hope, and help you open up communication with God.

Refresh and Gladden My Spirit

“O God! Refresh and gladden my spirit. Purify my heart. Illumine my powers. I lay all my affairs in Thy hand. Thou art my Guide and my Refuge. I will no longer be sorrowful and grieved; I will be a happy and joyful being. O God! I will no longer be full of anxiety, nor will I let trouble harass me. I will not dwell on the unpleasant things of life. O God! Thou art more friend to me than I am to myself. I dedicate myself to Thee, O Lord.”

Lead Me to Peace

“Lead me from death to life, from falsehood to truth. Lead me from despair to hope, from fear to trust. Lead me from hate to love, from war to peace. Let peace fill my heart, my world, my universe.

Amen.”

Prayer When Words Won’t Come

“O My Father, I have moments of deep unrest — moments when I know not what to ask by reason of the very excess of my wants. I have in these hours no words for Thee, no conscious prayers for Thee. My cry seems purely worldly; I want only the wings of a dove that I may flee away. Yet all the time Thou has accepted my unrest as a prayer. Thou has interpreted its cry for a dove’s wings as a cry for Thee, Thou has received the nameless longings of my heart as the intercessions of Thy Spirit. They are not yet the intercessions of my spirit; I know not what to ask. But Thou knowest what I ask, O my God. Thou knowest the name of that need which lies beneath my speechless groan. Thou knowest that, because I am made in Thine image, I can find rest only in what gives rest to Thee; therefore Thou hast counted my unrest unto me for righteousness, and has called my groaning Thy Spirit’s prayer.

Amen.”

Prayer for Anxious People

“Father, I pray for (name one or more) and others in my circle of family and friends who are carrying heavy loads… Your Word says an anxious heart weighs a person down, and this is how I think they must feel—as if they’re carrying heavy loads, more than they can bear. When they feel upset and beside themselves, calm them down and comfort them with the assurance of Your love. Help them not be overwhelmed by anxious thoughts. (Proverbs 12:25a; Psalm 94:19) Our hearts are not supposed to be troubled; but that’s their struggle—help them trust

You and the Lord Jesus, as I know they must. Help them understand that You are the One who makes a way when things seem impossible; nothing is too hard for You! (John 14:27; Isaiah 43:19; Jeremiah 32:17; Luke 1:37) Help them be faithful to You and to the way You want them to live, for You guard the lives of those who are faithful; You protect them and never turn away from them. Help them know You as their fortress, as the rock in whom they take refuge, as One who is good, whose love endures forever, whose faithfulness continues through all generations. (Psalm 97:10; Proverbs 2:8; Psalm 37:28; 94:22; 100:5)

In Jesus’ name, amen.”

Prayer of Hope

“O Lord, in Whom is our hope, remove far from us, we pray Thee, empty hopes and presumptuous confidence. Make our hearts so right with Thy most holy and loving heart, that hoping in Thee we may do good; until that day when faith and hope shall be abolished by sight and possession, and love shall be all in all.

Amen.”

Prayer for Israel – Learn Why Christians Pray for Israel and Say a Prayer for the Nation

With no end in sight to the turmoil in the Middle East, all signs and prophesies seem to point to an escalation in the violence and conflict. Yet no matter where you stand politically or spiritually regarding the current unrest in Israel, as Christians we can unite on one front: prayer.

Why Do Christians Pray for Israel?

Israel as a nation and a people are God’s chosen people. In Deuteronomy 32:10 and Zechariah 2:8, the Lord God calls Israel “the apple of his eye.” And to Abraham, God said in Genesis 12:2-3, “I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.

I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” (NIV)

Psalm 122:6 also encourages us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Pray a Christian Prayer for Israel

Dear Heavenly Father,

You are the Rock and Redeemer of Israel. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem. We are sad to see the violence and suffering as men, women, and children are injured and killed on both sides of the conflict. We don’t understand why it has to be this way, nor do we truly know if war is right or wrong. But we pray for justice, your sovereignty and righteousness, Lord. And at the same time we pray for mercy. For everyone involved we pray, for governments and peoples, militants and terrorists, we ask for your kingdom to come and rule over the land.

Shield the nation of Israel, Lord. Protect the soldiers and civilians from bloodshed. May your truth and light shine in the darkness.

Where there is only hatred, may your love prevail. Help me as a Christian to support those who you support, Lord, and to bless those who you bless, my God. Bring your salvation to Israel, dear God. Draw every heart to you. And bring your salvation to the whole earth.

Amen.

Pray a Bible Prayer for Israel – Psalm 83

O God, do not keep silence; do not hold your peace or be still, O God!

For behold, your enemies make an uproar; those who hate you have raised their heads. They lay crafty plans against your people; they consult together against your treasured ones. They say, “Come, let us wipe them out as a nation; let the name of Israel be remembered no more!” For they conspire with one accord; against you they make a covenant—the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, Moab and the Hagrites, Gebal and Ammon and Amalek, Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre; Asshur also has joined them; they are the strong arm of the children of Lot. Selah

Do to them as you did to Midian, as to Sisera and Jabin at the river Kishon, who were destroyed at En-dor, who became dung for the ground. Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna, who said, “Let us take possession for ourselves of the pastures of God.”

O my God, make them like whirling dust, like chaff before the wind. As fire consumes the forest, as the flame sets the mountains ablaze, so may you pursue them with your tempest and terrify them with your hurricane! Fill their faces with shame, that they may seek your name, O Lord. Let them be put to shame and dismayed forever; let them perish in disgrace, that they may know that you alone, whose name is the Lord, are the Most High over all the earth.

Prayers to God The Father Prayer to God “The Father Almighty”

“There is nothing more worthwhile than to pray to God and to converse with him, for prayer unites us with God as his companions. As our bodily eyes are illuminated by seeing the light, so in contemplating God our soul is illuminated by him.” St John Chrysostom

In order to pray to the Father, You must first understand what he commands of us in each of our personal lives.

The 10 Commandments

  1. I am the Lord, your God. You shall not have other gods beside me
  2. You shall not take the name of the Lord, your God, in vain
  3. Remember to keep holy the Sabbath Day
  4. Honor your father and your mother
  5. You shall not kill
  6. You shall not commit adultery
  7. You shall not steal
  8. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor
  9. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife
  10. You shall not covet anything that belongs to your neighbor.

After reading the 10 Commandments, reflect upon your life and then seek his forgiveness first for any short comings…

Act of Contrition

O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins, because I dread the loss of heaven, and the pains of hell; but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, Who are all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Thy grace, to confess my sins, to do penance, and to amend my life.
Amen.

Then, recite the most powerful prayer ever given mankind… given to us by the Son of God himself… on how we are to pray to the Great God Almighty.. Our Father!

Jesus teaches us How to Pray to the Father

The Lord’s Prayer ( Our Father )

Our Father, Who art in heaven
Hallowed be Thy Name;
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Glory

Glory be to the Father
and to the Son
and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning,
is now,
and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.

Additional Prayers to God the Father :

Magnificat

My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord,
my spirit finds joy in God my savior.
For he has looked upon his servant in her lowliness, all ages to come shall call me blessed.
God who is mighty has done great things for me, holy is his name.
His mercy is from age to age
on those who fear him.
He has shown might with his arm;
he has confused the proud in their inmost thoughts.
He has deposed the mighty from their thrones
and raised the lowly to high places.
The hungry he has given every good thing
while the rich he has sent away empty.
He has upheld Israel his servant,
ever mindful of his mercy.
Even as he promised our ancesters,
promised Abraham and his descendants forever.
Amen

Prayer of St. Francis

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light
where there is sadness, joy.
0h, Divine Master, grant that I may not seek so much
to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen.

Prayer to God the Father for Employment

God, our Father, I turn to you seeking your divine help and guidance as I look for suitable employment.
I need your wisdom to guide my footsteps along the right path, and to lead me to find the proper things to say and do in this quest. I wish to use the gifts and talents you have given me, but I need the opportunity to do so with gainful employment.
Do not abandon me, dear Father, in this search, but rather grant me this favor I seek so that I may return to you with praise and thanksgiving for your gracious assistance.
Grant this through Christ, our Lord.
Amen

Jesus Is Willing To Heal You – Healing Prayer Healing Scriptures from Bible

Jesus Is Willing To Heal You

“Everyone tried to touch him, because healing power went out from him, and he healed everyone.” (Luke 6:19)

God wants you well. Disease is not his will for you. There’s a story in Mark 1:40-42 of a very sick man who came to Jesus. He said, “Lord, if you are willing, you can heal me.” The man doesn’t doubt Christ’s capacity to fix his body; he does, however, doubt his willingness. Jesus reassures him. He heals him and then affirms: “I am willing.” Jesus wants you to know that He has both the capacity and the desire to heal you. Here is a sequence of Scripture promises and prayers of faith to guide you in your journey to healing.

“God has healthy intentions.”

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11)

Lord, while your intent is goodness, there is harm in the world and there is sickness in my body. Your promise is to give me a hopeful future. I receive your good plan for my life, a plan of health and hope. Firmly fix me in your presence. Develop holiness in my soul as I wait for you to act on my behalf. My heart belongs to you.

“Jesus made it possible.”

“But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:5)

Father, you have provided access to your power through Jesus who in His death took my disease on himself and gave me his perfect wholeness. That is the basis of my prayer.  You are a gracious God who takes great care of His children. I am blessed to be a part of your family. I am grateful for this infathomable gift. And I receive it now in Jesus’ Name.

“Audacious asking.”

You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it! (John 14:13,14)

Okay, I’m simply asking: Lord, heal me! Father Your Word assures us that we may come boldly before the Throne of Grace to ask what we may. Righteous King, as Your child I trust that my condition is in Your hands. You are trustworthy and worthy of all praise. Help to endeavor to love with all my heart as I await my deliverance.

“What’s my part in my healing.”

“If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you.” (James 1:5)

Father, I ask for wisdom to know and faithfully execute my part in my healing. Show me if I need to make adjustments in my life to strengthen my body to fight this invader. Give wisdom to my health care providers. Thank you that you use many means including modern technologies and medications. Work with these natural means to provide me with supernatural healing.

“The caveat to the promise.”

“But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against.” Mark 11:25

Jesus, Your promises are audacious: that I can ask, and I will receive. But there is a condition. In order to receive your gracious gift of healing, I must extend grace to others. So I take time now to consider anyone I need to forgive. “Father, forgive them. They don’t know what they are doing.” I do not have time or energy to fight human battles. I leave these to you, and together we will win this fight of faith against sickness.

“This medicine has healthy side effects.”

“My child, pay attention to what I say. Listen carefully to my words. Don’t lose sight of them. Let them penetrate deep into your heart, for they bring life to those who find them, and healing to their whole body.” (Proverbs 4:20-22 NLT)

Lord, I am willing to take any medicine that will aid in my healing, especially the nutrition of your Word. You used words to create the world. I will borrow your words, declare them, and you will recreate my body. Revitalize my flesh Oh Lord with the perfect healing that comes from the Kingdom of Heaven. Help me live with a heart that truly practices praising, adoring, and loving you incessantly with infinite affection. Your love for me will never fail.

“Talk to yourself.”

“Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits— who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases.” (Psalm 103:1-3 NIV)

As David talked to his body, commanding his entire being to praise the Lord, so do I. I command every cell in my body to worship the living God. Like David, I boldly choose to be mindful of the benefits that you offer me. Among them is healing. Diseased cells, you cannot worship because you are rebellious, existing contrary to God’s intent. Therefore, you must go by the edict of the living God. Immune system, you are part of my inmost being, so rise up and restore my physical body to God’s design.

“Quantum reality.”

“I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.” (Mark 11:24)

God, Your view of time is different than mine. Part of faith is knowing this and trusting that what you say is done, is, in fact, done, even before I’ve experienced it. I believe that I have received – past tense – all that you have promised, and I hold on to this, irrespective of my own experience, time-frame, or present reality. Father, forgive me when I don’t trust you as I should, perfect in me a resilient faith.

“It aint’ over yet.”

“Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.” (Psalm 139:14-16 NIV)

Lord, I do love you, and I receive the benefits: a long, disease-free, satisfying life! Lord, there are many things we have yet to accomplish, many people that need my love and influence, and many joys to experience with you. The thief – sickness – will not steal, kill, or destroy that purpose. Even when the stress of the fight wears on me, I will remain in Your overwhelming peace.

“My body is not my body.”

“Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body.” (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

God, you created my body as a perfect environment for your Spirit to thrive and work your purposes through me. My body is not intended as a habitat for disease. Whatever I have to do, whatever medical profesionals have to do, whatever you need to do to change the chemistry of my body to make it healthy again, let it be!

Prayers for Strength and Guidance

A Prayer for Strength is often needed during difficult times. God is always here for us, to give us strength and lift our hearts when all seems hopeless.
“I can do all things through Christ, which strengthens me.”

[PHP 4:13]

Most of us realize that our own strength is not always enough to get through some of the situations that this life brings.

At those difficult times, it is wise to call on God for extra strength and for His strength to help sustain you when your own strength fails. (Psalms 28:8 and Isaiah 40:29)

Give Me Strength, Lord

Lord, you are Holy above all others, and all of the strength that I need is in your hands.

I am not asking, Lord, that you take this trial away. Instead, I simply ask that Your will be done in my life. Whatever that means, that is what I want.

But I admit that it’s hard, Lord.

Sometimes I feel like I can’t go on. The pain and the fear are too much for me, and I know that I don’t have the strength on my own to get through this.

I know that I can come to you, Jesus, and that you will hear my prayer. I know that it is not your intent to bring me to this point just to leave me in the wilderness alone.

Please, Lord, give me the strength that I need to face today. don’t have to worry about tomorrow.

If you just give me the strength that I need today that is all I need.

Keep me from sinning during this trial. Instead, help me to keep my eyes on you. You are the Holy Lord, and all of my hope rests in you.

Thank you for hearing my prayer.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.

For Strength and Wisdom

Thank you, Lord, for being there for me and allowing me to cry out to you in my times of need.

It is amazing to me that the Lord of the Universe would take time to listen to me and to care about what I say.

God, there are things happening around me right now that I do not understand. Some of these things make me feel weak, helpless and afraid.

Even in the midst of this, I know that you are the Lord.

I know that the situation is in Your hand, and I trust You.

I beseech you for strength and for wisdom that I would be able to endure this situation and be able to handle it in a way that would bring glory to Your name.

In Jesus name. Amen.

Don’t ever be ashamed at feeling weak. Remember what the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 12:10:

“Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.”

Prayer for Overcoming Life’s Hardships

O Lord, we call upon You in our time of sorrow, That You give us the strength and will to bear our heavy burdens, until we can again feel the warmth and love of Your divine compassion. Be mindful of us and have mercy on us while we struggle to comprehend life’s hardships.

Keep us ever in Your watch, til we can walk again with light hearts and renewed spirits.
Strength for a Friend

Lord, I come before you today knowing that all power is in Your hand. I know that you are the Lord and that you care for your people. Right now, my friend is struggling with a difficult trial. I can see her strength is faltering, Lord, and know that you have all of the strength that she needs.

I pray that you will reach down and touch her right now wherever she is at this moment. Let your presence fill the room where she is and let her feel an extra portion of your strength that can help her to get through this day.

She needs you now, Lord, and I thank you in advance for meeting her where she is and shoring up her strength during this difficult time.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayers for Strength and Courage

Say these prayers when you’re in need of strength and courage. Day to day troubles are no match for the power of the Lord.
To be Grateful

Lord God, may we be grateful for our lot, and compassionate toward all those who are suffering every kind of distress at this difficult time.

May we hold back nothing, and hasten to be the ministers of prayer and mercy, like the disciples of Him who went about doing good in times of need. Amen
Prayer for Guidance and Help

Dear Lord, I am calling upon you today for your divine guidance and help. I am in crisis and need a supporting hand to keep me on the right and just path.

My heart is troubled but I will strive to keep it set on you, as your infinite wisdom will show me the right way to a just and right resolution. Thank you for hearing my prayer and for staying by my side.

Amen!

For Unfailing Strength

Do not look forward to what may happen tomorrow; the same everlasting Father who cares for you today will take care of you tomorrow and every day. Either He will shield you from suffering, or He will give you unfailing strength to bear it.

Be at peace, then. Put aside all anxious thoughts and imaginations, and say continually: “The Lord is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in Him and I am helped. He is not only with me but in me, and I in Him.
Scripture For Strength and Courage

Lets go straight to the source, and read bible verses about strength in trying times.
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

An Intercessory Prayer – Encouraging Others

Have you ever felt an unexplained burden on your heart to pray for the masses, for unnamed others, for your community or the world at large? The Bible is filled with examples of men and women who lifted up others in prayer, and Ephesians 6:18 tells us to: pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. If others are on your heart and mind today, but you’re not sure what to say, pray this intercessory prayer along with us now!

Lord Jesus, I come to you today and thank you for the privilege of praying for others. I’ve been the recipient of others’ prayers so often, I understand how powerful intercessory prayer can be. I ask you first to cleanse my heart and show me if there is any unconfessed sin in my own life so that my prayers for others will not be hindered. I thank you that through your name, I can come boldly before you and pray with confidence, according to your will and know that you hear me.
I lift up those in my neighborhood, in my city, and in my church. Begin with those who follow you, and help them influence others for good. Let them be salt and light, pointing others to you. Deepen their love for you and for the people around them. Guard them from hypocrisy or from giving in to temptations that could harm the cause of Christ. Raise up leaders who will serve you faithfully at all costs. Turn the hearts of fathers toward their children, and families toward you. Help them to exemplify your values, and make them bold in their faith. Strengthen my own family, and those closest to me, Lord. May our love for you help us to love and forgive others and make a difference in our world.
I pray for teachers, for students, and for all those in authority and leadership, both locally and throughout the world. Give them your mind, and surround them with godly counselors who will exercise integrity and work for justice, morality, and freedom. Help them to esteem you, not dismiss you. Send revival, Lord.

The Prayer of Jabez – 5 Inspiring Lessons

Scripture has many examples of prayers that teach us to depend on God and call upon Him. The prayer of Jabez is very inspiring and challenging for how we approach God with our requests. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 tells us that “ALL Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

Jabez was not using prayer as a formula to get something from God, rather He was calling upon God to help him accomplish the promises of God!  Let’s dive in and see how this Old Testament prayer can be applied today as we seek God’s provision and leading in our lives.

The Prayer of Jabez, 1 Chronicles 4:10 :

“Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh that You would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request.”

Five Lessons Jabez Teaches Us When Asking of God

1. The very first thing Scripture tells us about Jabez is that he cried to the God of Israel. Jabez states God’s lordship and headship over his life.  When you pray, begin by acknowledging who God is!

2. “That you would bless me” Jabez not only recognizes God as the one and only true God, he also acknowledges that blessings come from God alone.  Are you chasing broken promises and blessings that the world tries to entice you with? Are you striving toward prosperity on your own strength? When you pray, do it with a heart fully invested in the blessings of God.

3. “that you would multiply my territory” – Many think that Jabez is simply referring to physical land when asking to multiply territory. However, if we look at the lineage of Jabez we can understand that he is not merely speaking in terms of wealth and prosperity but in terms of impacting the kingdom of God. He wanted his spiritual territory to increase, to claim generations for the Lord of Israel.  Do you need to claim or reclaim some of the land Satan has taken from you? When you pray, ask God to multiply your territory and to do more through you!

4. “your hand be with me” – Jabez wanted God to be in every moment of his day. He understood the power of God’s hand to protect and to lead in the right direction. Blessings will become curses if it is not God’s hand providing and guiding.  When you pray, request more than blessings and provision but that God’s hand would lead you through any circumstances and trials that come your way. THAT is the greatest blessing.

5. “keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain” The name Jabez literally means “born with pain”.  His own mother named him this because of the pain she endured in labor! When Jabez prays, he speaks against the testimony of his name and lets go of the shame it covered him in. When you pray, come to God vulnerable and ready for Him to turn your weakness into His glory.

A Prayer for Strength

Have you ever needed supernatural strength to face a situation head-on, but not known what to pray? God is waiting and wants to offer us strength in time of need. Do not be afraid to pray and ask God for His strength to fall upon you! When you are weak, weary or unready to stand, and unsure of what to ask, pray along with these words!

Lord, I’m weary. My energy is sagging, and my motivation is lagging. And I am so in need of you. I need your strength and your fresh touch to get back on track again. Your Word says the joy of the Lord is my strength. If that’s true, then I need your joy to replace all the bone-tired parts of my mind, body, and soul.

The pressures of life sometimes push me into a corner, rendering me helpless to move forward. A hundred voices call my name, and I feel paralyzed at times to answer, not knowing where to turn. Lord, help me not to quit, to keep running the race faithfully, and to find strength in that safe, secret place of yours, under the shadow of the Almighty.

I need your strength to say no when I’m tempted to surrender to harmful things, or when selfishness clings to my clothes and won’t let go. I need your strength to say yes, when cowardice and fear nudge me to deny the convictions of my heart. I need your strength to reach out in love to those both close to me and all around me. When don’t I need your strength, God?

You are my rock, and I run to you today, believing that you will lift up my heavy arms, that you will fuel me for the tasks you’ve given me, and that your joy will completely consume the weakness of my life and make me strong again. I don’t want to stay grounded, crippled by limitations and failed attempts. I’m tired of feeble efforts. Lord, I want to mount up with wings like an eagle and not just fly. I want to soar.

Renew my strength, Lord. Fill me with your supernatural power to overcome each obstacle in my path. With my eyes on you, Lord, with you walking beside me, working through me, I can make it. Thank you, Lord!

In Jesus’s name, Amen

What Does the Bible Really Teach? Who Is Jesus Christ?

What Does the Bible Really Teach? Who Is Jesus Christ?

What is Jesus’ special role?
Where did he come from?
What kind of person was he?

1, 2. (a) Why does knowing about someone famous not mean that you truly know him? (b) What confusion is there about Jesus?

THERE are many famous people in the world. Some are well-known in their own community, city, or country. Others are known worldwide. However, just knowing the name of someone famous does not mean that you truly know him. It does not mean that you know details about his background and what he is really like as a person.

2 People around the world have heard something about Jesus Christ, even though he lived on earth some 2,000 years ago. Yet, many are confused about who Jesus really was. Some say that he was merely a good man. Others claim that he was nothing more than a prophet. Still others believe that Jesus is God and should be worshipped. Should he?

3. Why is it important for you to know Jehovah God and Jesus Christ?

3 It is important for you to know the truth about Jesus. Why? Because the Bible says: “This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ.” (John 17:3) Yes, really coming to know Jehovah God and Jesus Christ can lead to everlasting life on a paradise earth. (John 14:6) Furthermore, Jesus sets the best example of how to live and how to treat others. (John 13:34, 35) In the first chapter of this book, we discussed the truth about God. Now let us consider what the Bible really teaches about Jesus Christ.
THE PROMISED MESSIAH

4. What do the titles “Messiah” and “Christ” mean?

4 Long before Jesus was born, the Bible foretold the coming of the one whom God would send as the Messiah, or Christ. The titles “Messiah” (from a Hebrew word) and “Christ” (from a Greek word) both mean “Anointed One.” This promised One would be anointed, that is, appointed by God to a special position. In later chapters of this book, we will learn more about the Messiah’s important place in the fulfillment of God’s promises. We will also learn about the blessings that Jesus can bring us even now. Before Jesus was born, however, many no doubt wondered, ‘Who will prove to be the Messiah?’

5. Of what were the disciples of Jesus fully convinced regarding him?

5 In the first century C.E., the disciples of Jesus of Nazareth were fully convinced that he was the foretold Messiah. (John 1:41) One of the disciples, a man named Simon Peter, openly said to Jesus: “You are the Christ.” (Matthew 16:16) How, though, could those disciples be sure—and how can we be sure—that Jesus really is the promised Messiah?

6. Illustrate how Jehovah has helped faithful ones to identify the Messiah.

6 The prophets of God who lived before Jesus foretold many details about the Messiah. These details would help others to identify him. We might illustrate things this way: Suppose you were asked to go to a busy bus depot or a train station or an airport to pick up someone you had never met before. Would it not help if someone gave you a few details about him? Similarly, by means of the Bible prophets, Jehovah gave a rather detailed description of what the Messiah would do and what he would experience. The fulfillment of these many prophecies would help faithful ones to identify him clearly.

7. What are two of the prophecies that were fulfilled in connection with Jesus?

7 Consider just two examples. First, over 700 years in advance, the prophet Micah foretold that the promised One would be born in Bethlehem, a small town in the land of Judah. (Micah 5:2) Where was Jesus actually born? Why, in that very town! (Matthew 2:1, 3-9) Second, many centuries in advance, the prophecy recorded at Daniel 9:25 pointed to the very year when the Messiah was to appear—29 C.E. * The fulfillment of these and other prophecies proves that Jesus was the promised Messiah.
At Jesus’ baptism, God’s spirit descending like a dove to identify Jesus as the Messiah

At his baptism, Jesus became the Messiah, or Christ

8, 9. What proof that Jesus was the Messiah became clear at his baptism?

8 Further proof that Jesus was the Messiah became clear near the end of 29 C.E. That is the year when Jesus went to John the Baptizer to be baptized in the Jordan River. Jehovah had promised John a sign so that he could identify the Messiah. John saw that sign at Jesus’ baptism. The Bible says that this is what happened: “After being baptized, Jesus immediately came up from the water; and look! the heavens were opened up, and he saw God’s spirit descending like a dove and coming upon him. Look! Also, a voice from the heavens said: ‘This is my Son, the beloved, whom I have approved.’” (Matthew 3:16, 17) After seeing and hearing what happened, John had no doubt that Jesus was sent by God. (John 1:32-34) At the moment when God’s spirit, or active force, was poured out upon him that day, Jesus became the Messiah, or Christ, the one appointed to be Leader and King.—Isaiah 55:4.

9 The fulfillment of Bible prophecy and Jehovah God’s own testimony plainly show that Jesus was the promised Messiah. But the Bible answers two other important questions about Jesus Christ: Where did he come from, and what kind of person was he?
WHERE DID JESUS COME FROM?

10. What does the Bible teach about Jesus’ existence before he came to earth?

10 The Bible teaches that Jesus lived in heaven before he came to earth. Micah prophesied that the Messiah would be born in Bethlehem and also said that His origin was “from ancient times.” (Micah 5:2) On many occasions, Jesus himself said that he lived in heaven before being born as a human. (Read John 3:13; 6:38, 62; 17:4, 5) As a spirit creature in heaven, Jesus had a special relationship with Jehovah.

11. How does the Bible show that Jesus is Jehovah’s most precious Son?

11 Jesus is Jehovah’s most precious Son—and for good reason. He is called “the firstborn of all creation,” for he was God’s first creation. * (Colossians 1:15) There is something else that makes this Son special. He is the “only-begotten Son.” (John 3:16) This means that Jesus is the only one directly created by God. Jesus is also the only one whom God used when He created all other things. (Colossians 1:16) Then, too, Jesus is called “the Word.” (John 1:14) This tells us that he spoke for God, no doubt delivering messages and instructions to the Father’s other sons, both spirit and human.

12. How do we know that the firstborn Son is not equal to God?

12 Is the firstborn Son equal to God, as some believe? That is not what the Bible teaches. As we noted in the preceding paragraph, the Son was created. Obviously, then, he had a beginning, whereas Jehovah God has no beginning or end. (Psalm 90:2) The only-begotten Son never even considered trying to be equal to his Father. The Bible clearly teaches that the Father is greater than the Son. (Read John 14:28; 1 Corinthians 11:3) Jehovah alone is “God Almighty.” (Genesis 17:1) Therefore, he has no equal. *

13. What does the Bible mean when it refers to the Son as “the image of the invisible God”?

13 Jehovah and his firstborn Son enjoyed close association for billions of years—long before the starry heavens and the earth were created. How they must have loved each other! (John 3:35; 14:31) This dear Son was just like his Father. That is why the Bible refers to the Son as “the image of the invisible God.” (Colossians 1:15) Yes, even as a human son may closely resemble his father in various ways, this heavenly Son reflected his Father’s qualities and personality.

14. How did Jehovah’s only-begotten Son come to be born as a human?

14 Jehovah’s only-begotten Son willingly left heaven and came down to earth to live as a human. But you may wonder, ‘How was it possible for a spirit creature to be born as a human?’ To accomplish this, Jehovah performed a miracle. He transferred the life of his firstborn Son from heaven to the womb of a Jewish virgin named Mary. No human father was involved. Mary thus gave birth to a perfect son and named him Jesus.—Luke 1:30-35.
WHAT KIND OF PERSON WAS JESUS?
Jesus preaching to people in a home

15. Why can we say that through Jesus we come to know Jehovah better?

15 What Jesus said and did while on earth helps us to get to know him well. More than that, through Jesus we come to know Jehovah better. Why is this the case? Recall that this Son is a perfect reflection of his Father. That is why Jesus told one of his disciples: “Whoever has seen me has seen the Father also.” (John 14:9) The four Bible books known as the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—tell us much about the life, activity, and personal qualities of Jesus Christ.

16. What was Jesus’ primary message, and where did his teachings come from?

16 Jesus was well-known as “Teacher.” (John 1:38; 13:13) What did he teach? Primarily, his message was “the good news of the Kingdom”—that is, God’s Kingdom, the heavenly government that will rule over the entire earth and will bring endless blessings to obedient humans. (Matthew 4:23) Whose message was this? Jesus himself said: “What I teach is not mine, but belongs to him who sent me,” namely, Jehovah. (John 7:16) Jesus knew that his Father wants humans to hear about the good news of the Kingdom. In Chapter 8, we will learn more about God’s Kingdom and what it will accomplish.
Jesus preaching to a fisherman

17. Where did Jesus do his teaching, and why did he go to great lengths to teach others?

17 Where did Jesus do his teaching? Everywhere he found people—in the countryside as well as in cities, in villages, in marketplaces, and in their homes. Jesus did not expect people to come to him. He went to them. (Mark 6:56; Luke 19:5, 6) Why did Jesus go to such lengths and spend so much of his time preaching and teaching? Because doing so was God’s will for him. Jesus always did his Father’s will. (John 8:28, 29) But there was another reason why he preached. He felt compassion for the crowds of people who came out to see him. (Read Matthew 9:35, 36.) They were neglected by their religious leaders, who should have been teaching them the truth about God and his purposes. Jesus knew how much the people needed to hear the Kingdom message.

18. What qualities of Jesus do you find most appealing?

18 Jesus was a man of tender warmth and deep feelings. Others thus found him to be approachable and kind. Even children felt at ease with him. (Mark 10:13-16) Jesus was impartial. He hated corruption and injustice. (Matthew 21:12, 13) At a time when women received little respect and had few privileges, he treated them with dignity. (John 4:9, 27) Jesus was genuinely humble. On one occasion, he washed the feet of his apostles, a service usually performed by a lowly servant.

Jesus preached wherever he found people

19. What example shows that Jesus was sensitive to the needs of others?

19 Jesus was sensitive to the needs of others. This was especially evident when, under the power of God’s spirit, he performed miracles of healing. (Matthew 14:14) For example, a man with leprosy came to Jesus and said: “If you just want to, you can make me clean.” Jesus personally felt this man’s pain and suffering. Moved with pity, Jesus stretched out his hand and touched the man, saying: “I want to! Be made clean.” And the sick man was healed! (Mark 1:40-42) Can you imagine how that man must have felt?
FAITHFUL TO THE END

20, 21. How did Jesus set an example of loyal obedience to God?

20 Jesus set the finest example of loyal obedience to God. He remained faithful to his heavenly Father under all kinds of circumstances and despite all types of opposition and suffering. Jesus firmly and successfully resisted Satan’s temptations. (Matthew 4:1-11) At one time, some of Jesus’ own relatives did not put faith in him, even saying that he was “out of his mind.” (Mark 3:21) But Jesus did not let them influence him; he kept right on doing God’s work. Despite insults and abuse, Jesus maintained self-control, never trying to harm his opposers.—1 Peter 2:21-23.

21 Jesus remained faithful until death—a cruel and painful death at the hands of his enemies. (Read Philippians 2:8.) Consider what he endured on the last day of his life as a human. He was arrested, accused by false witnesses, convicted by corrupt judges, laughed at by mobs, and tortured by soldiers. Nailed to a stake, he took his last breath, crying out: “It has been accomplished!” (John 19:30) However, on the third day after Jesus died, his heavenly Father resurrected him back to spirit life. (1 Peter 3:18) A few weeks later, he returned to heaven. There, he “sat down at the right hand of God” and waited to receive kingly power.—Hebrews 10:12, 13.

22. What did Jesus accomplish by remaining faithful until death?

22 What did Jesus accomplish by remaining faithful until death? Jesus’ death actually opens to us the opportunity for eternal life on a paradise earth, in harmony with Jehovah’s original purpose. How Jesus’ death makes that possible will be discussed in the next chapter.

Frangrance of Christ and Presence of Jesus Prayer

Jesus,

I worship You and I adore You. I love You Jesus with all my heart. Draw me and I shall be drawn into Your Presence, that is so rich in Your Glory. I long and seek for it. For Your Presence changes my inner being to the being of God. As I enter to the Sanctuary of the Frangrance of Christ in His excellence. For I shall be now a Fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. I can know Your Presence now as real as You are Jesus. For Your Presence is Your Person.

I experience the intimacy with You Jesus through Your fragnance of Myrrh – the suffering of Jesus and the Love for God. Master You are the Saviour and the Love of God in Person. Let me unite the Love of my heart with the Love of Your heart that is Your Person in the Spirit Jesus. As the deep calleth unto deep, so the heart of God and heart of my inner being unite in Perfect Love.

As the Presence is so rich I experience the fragrance of the Cinnamon the purging of my inner being from the past sins through Your Spirit Jesus.

Jesus as the Grace You appeared to the eyes of the world. The Fragnance of Cassia. Jesus You humbled Yourself and gave up the Glory which You had with the Father before the world was, Glorifying the Father on earth, for it pleased the Father that in You Jesus all the fullness should dwell. Transform me to be a two edged sword to help me to carry the Fragrance of Jesus as I seek the Guide to share Your Divine Fragrance with the suffering world.

I want to comfort you Master. I am here for you to share with you my love. You have always comforted me Holy Spirit. Now through your Spirit Jesus I want to comfort You with the silent tears and whispers of my heart as the Holy Spirit interceeds for me with groanings which cannot be uttered.

I can feel Your Presence now and Your Person Master as Real as life itself. Your Presence is full of Life and full of Your being as I worship You. Now that I have come to the Sanctuary. Heal me. Take away my infirmities. Transform my spirit. Heal my body, soul and life. Bring restoration and a new Fresh Vision and deepening of Your Anointing Holy Spirit. Use me as a Prophetic vessel. And impart Your wisdom and healing power upon me Jesus. So I can share Your Fragrance of Christ.

Amen

Prayer for Blessing and Favor, Multiplying Blessing of Abraham

Prayer for Blessing, Blessment from the Lord and the prayer for the Favor of the Lord

Lord, bless me and keep me. Make Your face to shine
upon me, and be gracious unto me. Lord, lift up Your
countenance upon me and give me peace (Num. 6:24–26).
Make me as Ephraim and Manasseh (Gen. 48:20).
Let me be satisfied with favor and filled
with Your blessing (Deut. 33:23).
Lord, command Your blessing upon my life.
Give me revelation, and let me be blessed (Matt. 16:17).
I am the seed of Abraham through Jesus Christ, and
I receive the blessing of Abraham. Lord, in blessing,
bless me, and in multiplying, multiply me as the stars
of heaven and as the sand of the seashore.
Let Your showers of blessing be upon my life (Ezek. 34:26).
Turn every curse sent my way into a blessing (Neh. 13:2).
Let Your blessing make me rich (Prov. 10:22).
Let all nations call me blessed (Mal. 3:12).
Let all generations call me blessed (Luke 1:48).
I am a son of the blessed (Mark 14:61).
I live in the kingdom of the blessed (Mark 11:10).
My sins are forgiven, and I am blessed (Rom. 4:7).
Lord, You daily load me with benefits (Ps. 68:19).
I am chosen by God, and I am blessed (Ps. 65:4).
My seed is blessed (Ps. 37:26).
Let me inherit the land (Ps. 37:22).
I am a part of a holy nation, and I am blessed (Ps. 33:12).
Lord, bless my latter end more than my beginning (Job 42:12).
Lord, let Your presence bless my life (2 Sam. 6:11).
I drink the cup of blessing (1 Cor. 10:16).
Lord, bless me, and cause Your face to shine upon me,
that Your way may be known upon the earth and Your
saving health among all nations. Let my land yield increase,
and let the ends of the earth fear You (Ps. 67).
I know You favor me because my enemies
do not triumph over me (Ps. 41:11).
Lord, be favorable unto my land (Ps. 85:1).
Lord, grant me life and favor (Job 10:12).
In Your favor, Lord, make my mountain stand strong (Ps. 30:7).
Lord, I entreat Your favor (Ps. 45:12).
Let Your favor cause my horn to be exalted (Ps. 89:17).
Lord, this is my set time for favor (Ps. 102:13).
Remember me, O Lord, with the favor that You bring unto
Your children, and visit me with Your salvation (Ps. 106:4).
Lord, I entreat Your favor with my whole heart (Ps. 119:58).
Let Your favor be upon my life as a cloud
of the latter rain (Prov. 16:15).
Let Your beauty be upon my life, and let
me be well favored (Gen. 29:17).
I am highly favored (Luke 1:28).
Lord, let me receive extraordinary favor.
